When you think of tourism, Iraq does not probably jump to mind. Despite that there is a large Iraq booth at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2011 at Excel in London with a reasonable number of delegates in attendance. Because of this ASIA Travel Tips.com sat down with Fadhil Al-Saaegh , Managing Director of Al-Rafidain Co. Ltd., to ask why Iraq has spent so much to promote the country when from an outsiders perspective there seems to be so much trouble.
We ask whether it is safe, the status of tourism there at the moment, if there are any areas other than Baghdad that are attracting tourism and what the state of national monuments, treasures and other tourist sites are.
Numerous airlines have also started to resume flights to different destinations in Iraq such as Baghdad, Basra and others. ASIA Travel Tips.com asks what the country is doing to attract more airlines etc.

Library of the World's Best Literature, Ancient and Modern volume 1

The Library of the World's Best Literature, Ancient and Modern, is a work of enormous proportions. Setting out with the simple goal of offering "American households a mass of good reading", the editors drew from literature of all times and all kinds what they considered the best pieces of human writing, and compiled an ambitious collection of 45 volumes (with a 46th being an index-guide). Besides the selection and translation of a huge number of poems, letters, short stories and sections of books, the collection offers, before each chapter, a short essay about the author or subject in question. In many cases, chapters contemplate not one author, but certain groups of works, organized by nationality, subject or period; there is, thus, a chapter on Accadian-Babylonian literature, one on the Holy Grail, and one on Chansons, for example.
The result is a collection that holds the interest, for the variety of subjects and forms, but also as a means of first contact with such famous and important authors that many people have heard of, but never read, such as Abelard, Dante or Lord Byron. According to the editor Charles Dudley Warner, this collection "is not a library of reference only, but a library to be read."

What the F#@& is a Chazaka?
Chazakah, (or chazokoh) is a Talmudic concept, derived from the Hebrew word חזקה, which can be approximately translated as "strength".
The conceptional terminology is "default status", "agreed properties" or Status quo of an object, land or person − usually when sufficient proof is missing or unavailable. The concept is relevant to many aspects of Talmudic law and Halakha.
There are various ways how something can get the certain state of Chazakah:

In a disputed ownership of articles, they would be left in the hands which holds them.
By disputed ownership of land, it would be left in the hands of the last certain owner (Hebrew: חזקת מרא קמא). The one who argues that he bought off that piece of land, must approve it, unless he is already in for three years when the "Chazakah" changes to his side (see next paragraph).
In Kashruth, every article is in its previous state (Hebrew: חזקת כשרות), before proven different.

Basra (Arabic: البصرة; BGN: Al Baṣrah) is the capital of Basra Governorate, in southern Iraq near Kuwait and Iran. It had an estimated population of two million as of 2009. Basra is also Iraq's main port, although it does not have deep water access, which is handled at the port of Umm Qasr.
The city is part of the historic location of Sumer, the home of Sinbad the Sailor, and a proposed location of the Garden of Eden. It also played an important role in early Islamic history, being built in 636 CE, or 14 AH. It is Iraq's second largest and most populous city after Baghdad.
The city was called by many names throughout its history, Basrah being the most common. Although some Chaldean Christians argue that the name has Akkadian roots, other sources claim that the name is derived from the Persian word Bas-rah, which means "where many paths meet". During the pre-Islamic era, the area was known to the Arabs as al-Khariba due to the existence of an ancient city called al-Kharba. After the present city was built, it was called by many names, including "the mother of Iraq", "the reservoir of Arabs", "the prosperous city", and "al-Faiha".

Asif Basra is an Indian film, television and theater actor. He is best known for his role in the American comedy film Outsourced.
He performed in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday and Rahul Dholakia's Parzania, which received much critical appreciation. He also appeared in Micheal O. Sajbeland's One Night with the King with veteran actors like Omar Sharif and Peter O'Toole./ . He also played a role of Tailor in Hindi movie Lamhaa and he also played a role in Bollywood's 2010 top grossing 2010 film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai as Shoib's (Emraan Hashmi) Father.
Basra is also known for his theatrical performances from playing five different characters in Feroz Khan's production of Mahatma v/s Gandhi, a play is considered as one of the most successful in Indian theater. Other performances include a child with spina bifida in Main Bhi Superman and Horatio in Hamlet.

According to the editor Charles Dudley Warner, this collection "is not a library of reference only, but a library to be read."

Chazakah, (or chazokoh) is a Talmudic concept, derived from the Hebrew word חזקה, which can be approximately translated as "strength".
The conceptional terminology is "default status", "agreed properties" or Status quo of an object, land or person − usually when sufficient proof is missing or unavailable. The concept is relevant to many aspects of Talmudic law and Halakha.
There are various ways how something can get the certain state of Chazakah:
The previous known state, which may include but is not restricted to:
In a disputed ownership of articles, they would be left in the hands which holds them.
By disputed ownership of land, it would be left in the hands of the last certain owner (Hebrew: חזקת מרא קמא). The one who argues that he bought off that piece of land, must approve it, unless he is already in for three years when the "Chazakah" changes to his side (see next paragraph).
In Kashruth, every article is in its previous state (Hebrew: חזקת כשרות), before proven different.
The automatic acquisition of ownership following three years of undisturbed possession (ancestor of usucapion in Roman law).
Rules which are based on common belief, since it is true in most cases (Rov). A common example is the belief that most people wouldn't pay their loans until it is due, so one cannot argue before that he already paid without further proof.
