Buchanan may refer to:
Patrick Joseph "Pat" Buchanan (/bjuːˈkænᵻn/; born November 2, 1938) is an American paleoconservative political commentator, author, syndicated columnist, politician and broadcaster. Buchanan was a senior advisor to U.S. Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan, and was an original host on CNN's Crossfire. He sought the Republican presidential nomination in 1992 and 1996. He ran on the Reform Party ticket in the 2000 presidential election.
He co-founded The American Conservative magazine and launched a foundation named The American Cause. He has been published in Human Events, National Review, The Nation, and Rolling Stone. He was a political commentator on the MSNBC cable network, including the show Morning Joe until February 2012. Buchanan has been a regular on The McLaughlin Group since the 1980s and now appears on Fox News. The political positions of Pat Buchanan can generally be described as paleoconservative, and many of his views, particularly his opposition to American imperialism and the managerial state, echo those of the Old Right Republicans of the first half of the 20th century.

Peter Robinson sits with author, journalist and former presidential candidate, Patrick J Buchanan. From declining birth rates, to shifting values, to the decline of Christianity, Buchanan thinks Western civilization is falling apart. Buchanan is worried that the American melting pot has stopped assimilating immigrants the way it once did. Is America dying? Are you a racist if you think America is breaking apart? Find out. "Hey Joe" from Joe Buchanan's 'Live From Austin TX' performance. Buy it today on Amazon http://amzn.to/1djXuNE or iTunes http://smarturl.it/RoyBuchananLFAT. One of the pioneers of the telecaster sound, he was noted for his use of note bending, volume swells, staccato runs and "pinch" harmonics. He is considered by many to be one of America's most soulful guitar masters, and even 20 years after his death, he maintains an army of devoted fans, including some of rock guitar's greatest (just ask Jeff Beck, Robbie Robertson or Billy Gibbons). This performance, captured on the ACL stage on November 15, 1976, shows Roy Buchanan in his prime at the age of 37. Indeed, it may well be the best high-quality audio/video recording of his complete performance known to exist.

Baby you don't have to die,
To be reborn.
Rejecting every change in your turning life,
Means that hard times are still in store.
That's not a star,
It's a satellite.
And if this lazy generation,
Makes a damned worth of difference it will be alright.
Baby you don't have to die,
To be reborn.
You live in the book,
Or live in the bottle.
Your left hand is blind,
And your right is on the throttle.
There's nothing you can take on the day you die,
That you didn't have the day you were born.
That's not a star,
It's a satellite.
And if this lazy generation,
Makes a damned worth of difference it will be alright.
You can change if you want to.
