I own 2 original Nintendo Entertainment System colsoles, the newer NES, 2 Super NES (Super Nintendo) consoles, the newer SNES console that was smaller, 2 original Model 1 Sega Genesis consoles, a Model 2 Sega Genesis, a Model 3 Sega Genesis, a Sega Saturn, two Nintendo 64 (N64) consoles, a PlayStation 2, a Playstation 3, a Nintendo Gamecube, a Nintendo Wii white console, 2 original XBox consoles, an XBOX 360, an XBox One, a PlayStation 4, and a Nintendo Wii U black console.
The portables I own are a Nintendo Game Boy, a Game Boy Color, a Virtual Boy (that still works, lol), a Game Boy Pocket, an original Game Boy Advance, an original Nintendo DS, a Nintendo DS lite, and a Nintendo 3DS. Not included in the video because I couldn't find them were 2 Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP portables and my Playstation Portable (PSP).
Oh, and the Retron 5 and an FC Twin Unit, but those are not official consoles.

Video game console
A video game console is a device that outputs a video signal or visual image to display a video game. The term "video game console" is used to distinguish a console machine primarily designed for consumers to use for playing video games in contrast to arcade machines or home computers. It includes home video game consoles, handheld game consoles, microconsoles and dedicated consoles.
Although Ralph Baer had built working game consoles by 1966, it was nearly a decade before Pong made them commonplace in home theaters. Through evolution over the years, game consoles have expanded to function as CD players, DVD players, web browsers, set-top boxes and more.
History
Overview of Timeline
First generation
The first video games appeared in the 1960s. They were played on massive computers connected to vector displays, not analog televisions. Ralph H. Baer conceived the idea of a home video game in 1951. In the late 1960s, while working for Sanders Associates, Baer created a series of video game console designs. One of these designs, which gained the nickname of the 1966 "Brown Box", featured changeable game modes and was demonstrated to several TV manufacturers, ultimately leading to an agreement between Sanders Associates and Magnavox.

Video game
A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device such as a TV screen or computer monitor. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a raster display device, but it now implies any type of display device that can produce two- or three-dimensional images. Video games are sometimes believed to be a form of art, but this designation is controversial.
The electronic systems used to play video games are known as platforms; examples of these are personal computers and video game consoles. These platforms range from large mainframe computers to small handheld computing devices. Specialized video games such as arcade games, while common in the 1980s, have gradually declined in use due to the widespread availability of home video game devices (e.g., PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and video games on desktop and laptop computers and smartphones.
The input device used for games, the game controller, varies across platforms. Common controllers include gamepads, mouses, keyboards, joysticks, the touchscreens of mobile devices and buttons. In addition to video and (in most cases) audio feedback, some games include haptic, vibration or force feedback peripherals.

I own 2 original Nintendo Entertainment System colsoles, the newer NES, 2 Super NES (Super Nintendo) consoles, the newer SNES console that was smaller, 2 original Model 1 Sega Genesis consoles, a Model 2 Sega Genesis, a Model 3 Sega Genesis, a Sega Saturn, two Nintendo 64 (N64) consoles, a PlayStation 2, a Playstation 3, a Nintendo Gamecube, a Nintendo Wii white console, 2 original XBox consoles, an XBOX 360, an XBox One, a PlayStation 4, and a Nintendo Wii U black console.
The portables I own are a Nintendo Game Boy, a Game Boy Color, a Virtual Boy (that still works, lol), a Game Boy Pocket, an original Game Boy Advance, an original Nintendo DS, a Nintendo DS lite, and a Nintendo 3DS. Not included in the video because I couldn't find them were 2 Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP portables and my Playstation Portable (PSP).
Oh, and the Retron 5 and an FC Twin Unit, but those are not official consoles.

How to get Magma Block on Minecraft Console (PS4/Xbox)
Method 1. Much less grind than Method 2 though you do have to reset your nether if the world is created before the update (not needed if world was created after TU41). The blocks are found at the bottom of the nether in veins. Method 2. you need 4 magma creams to make one block. you get those from magma cubes. really no point of this method unless you dont want to reset the nether

Hey Nerdgasm fans, I pre-ordered the open source Android gaming console called OUYA back when it was a Kickstarter project and completely forgot about it. Today when I got home from work a package was sitting on the door step and I ripped it open to find this little gem sitting inside. I love it when I completely forget about shit and it just shows up without me expecting it. So obviously that meant it was time to throw all my plans away for the evening and do an in-depth unboxing and review of this new console. I'm always excited to get a new game console since I already have XBOX 360, PS3, Wii, and WiiU consoles and now I have the OUYA to add to the collection. This console certainly feels like it's in a BETA state at this point (atleast the software) and the market place is very small without many games (yet) but I can already tell there is a lot of potential here.
The controller is a lot like an XBOX 360 controller so you will be right at home but it doesn't feel as comfortable in the hands. Plus installing the batteries in the controller is confusing the first time you try to figure it out since they don't include any instructions in the box and the controller has no markings indicating where the batteries would go but the batteries are included in the box.
I play a game called DubWars in this video to demo the unit and it's pretty fun and unique, It's like geometry wars with a music twist! If you do get this console I recommend you give that game a try first!
Notes:
1) I know about the minor audio sync issue near the end of the video, there is an issue with the encoder I'm trying to resolve.
2) I was unable to capture full screen 1080p video with my Avermedia Live Gamer HD since the OUYA doesn't seem to put out a signal that is compatible with it (Investigating

Released in 1982, the Vectrex features an intriguing built-in vector monitor (basically a normal CRT monitor with different control circuitry) that left the living room TV free for Dad to watch the first ever episode of Taggart. The display is strictly black and white, but by using the astonishingly MacGyver-esque technique of placing coloured plastic overlays on the screen you can make everything look a bit blue.
So what games are there? A nifty rip-off of Asteroids called Mine Storm (just don't reach level 13). There's an overly leisurely version of Berzerk. Then there's Spike, a little star man equipped with River Dance jig and the ability to teleport ladders in his quest to save Molly from the evil Spud. And finally Star Ship. Yes you guessed it, nifty spaceships with magic hypnotizing square effects that I still don't understand despite playing it several times.
As far as we know, this is the only video games console ever released that can cause permanent retina damage even if played on a moderate brightness setting. But don't worry - your eyes are quite safe through the filter of YouTube. Pity about mine.
