Catholic schools across Sydney are taking a stand against children in detention, which they say violates basic human rights and is inconsistent with their Christian values.
Fears that one of New South Wales' largest private schools would be forced to close this summer have not materialised, with a reprieve granted by the Board of Studies (BOS).
