Love Field may refer to:
Dallas Love Field (IATA: DAL, ICAO: KDAL, FAA LID: DAL) is a city-owned public airport 6 miles (10 km) northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas. It was Dallas' main airport until 1974 when Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) opened.
The corporate headquarters for Southwest Airlines is located at Love Field. The airport is also a focus city for Southwest as well as for Virgin America. Seven full service fixed base operators (FBOs) provide general aviation service: fuel, maintenance, hangar rentals, and charters. Some also provide meeting rooms, car rentals, limousine service and restaurants.
Dallas Love Field is named after Moss L. Love, who while assigned to the U.S. Army 11th Cavalry, died in an airplane crash near San Diego, California on September 4, 1913, becoming the 10th fatality in U.S. army aviation history. His Wright Model C biplane crashed during practice for his Military Aviator Test. Love Field was named by the United States Army on October 19, 1917.
KDAL may refer to:
Dallas (/ˈdæləs/) is a major city in the state of Texas and is the largest urban center of the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. The city proper ranks ninth in the U.S. and third in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. The city's prominence arose from its historical importance as a center for the oil and cotton industries, and its position along numerous railroad lines. The bulk of the city is in Dallas County, of which it is the county seat; however, sections of the city are located in Collin, Denton, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. According to the 2010 United States Census, the city had a population of 1,197,816. The United States Census Bureau's estimate for the city's population increased to 1,281,047, as of 2014.
The Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 is a light jet aircraft developed by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. It can carry 7 to 9 occupants with a flying range of 1,971 nmi (3,650 km). The price for a standard FAA aircraft with no optional items is estimated at US $8,955,000 in 2015.
Embraer began designing the Phenom 300 after finding that potential customers of the Phenom 100 would also like a bigger aircraft. It was a new design with the aim of allowing operation to smaller airports like London City and Telluride Regional Airport.
It first flew on 29 April 2008, and was type certificated on 3 December 2009.
On 29 December 2009 Embraer delivered the first Phenom 300 to Executive Flight Services at the company's headquarters at São José dos Campos, Brazil. In just four years, the Phenom 300 climbed to the top position on the list of most delivered business jets, with 60 units delivered in 2013.
The Phenom 300 is a twin-engined cantilever monoplane with a low-positioned, swept wing, it has a horizontal stabiliser in a T-tail configuration and a retractable tricycle landing gear. It has two rear-pylon-mounted Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E turbofan engines, one each side of the fuselage. The enclosed cabin has room for nine passengers and two crew pilot; during single-pilot operation an additional passenger can be carried; access to the flightdeck and cabin is using an airstair on the left-hand side behind.

Hey everyone! As my first time here, this is another airport on my list. Very nice airport - smaller and fairly relaxed. Southwest operates most of the flights in and out of the airport. I converted Dallas Love Field from 2D to 3D for X-Plane 11. It now includes Hangers, Terminals, Gates, Taxi, Parking, etc Structures are placed accurately based on Ortho image overlay and Google Earth. This will be available via https://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/KDAL . I added this to github https://github.com/Simssmith/xplane-kdal so feel free to enhance it. Enjoy this classic airport in the heart of Dallas!
I arrived at Love Field earlier than expected before my evening flight (see below for link) so what better way to kill time than spotting? I found a great spot on the top of the parking garage and ATC reception was great! Notes: Filmed 8/15/13. Departure from Dallas: http://youtu.be/mjYHqRU6D2I Landing in Dallas: http://youtu.be/Hm6G9ZN-foQ Tampa Spotting Video: http://youtu.be/sduKfRuUZxE I apologize for not bringing a tripod on this trip (it hurts me even more later on...you'll see what I mean :P) as working both the camera and the scanner at the same time proved to be difficult at times. I only caught one landing this time around, but stay tuned for a spotting video at Tampa (link above) with some special liveries and another at the greatest spotting location on earth (hehehe...
Despertar interno, intenso suicidio
Desconosco los demonios que me acechan
Despiadadas son las ansias por tu esencia
Cada minuto eh vivido un siglo
Despertar interno, intenso suicidio
