Perth commuters have vented their anger on social media after signalling problems on the Joondalup line caused lengthy delays to train services on Thursday morning.
The issue was resolved just after noon and the train service went back to normal.

Train delays due to Joondalup train line disruption
Major train delays this morning - with technical issues slowing down the Joondalup and Mandurah Lines by up to 30 minutes.
Transperth reported at 5:30am that services on the Joondalup line were delayed due to technical issues, which also causing delays to the Mandurah line.
Perth Transport Authority spokesman David Hynes said technicians had been fixing a points issue with Leederville station.
"We are not sure wether it's software, hardware, whatever it is. We had techs on site for a couple of hours," he said.
Morning commuters took to Twitter, expressing their annoyance with the unscheduled disruption.
"Working beautifully this morning," said one sarcastic user.
"Leave for work an hour early. Looks like I'll arrive an hour late," said another.
One commuter took a more explicit and direct tone, saying "Take your bull---- never ending signal problems that keep recurring and shove them up your a--."
Services on the Joondalup Line are currently delayed due to a technical issue.

This will also cause delays on the Mandurah Line.
