Roundhouse is an American television series that aired on Nickelodeon from 1992 through 1996.
Roundhouse debuted as a part of the original SNICK lineup on Nickelodeon in 1992 and continued airing on the network through the end of 1996.
Buddy Sheffield, a former writer for In Living Color, and Rita Sheffield Hester created and produced the series. Recording artist Benny Hester was the music producer as well as co-producer of the series. They titled the show in reference to the roundhouses used by railroad companies to turn trains around and get them on the right track. This was in line with the show's theme song, in which the characters stated "we can go anywhere from here". In addition, the stage for the show mirrored the interior of a roundhouse.
Each episode revolved around the Anyfamily and their problems in daily life. The half-hour show, taped in front of a visible live audience, was broken up into sketches, dance sequences, and musical performances by both cast members and the house band. After everything is resolved story-wise, a cast member would say the words "Reprise the Theme Song and Roll the Credits", the cast then sang the theme song a cappella with a dance to close the show off. All music used on the show was written specifically for Roundhouse. Crystal Lewis and Shawn Daywalt were the principal vocalists for many of the songs in the first season. After Lewis left the series to pursue a career in Christian contemporary music, she was replaced by Lisa Vale, who left the series after Season 2 due to her pregnancy at the time and was replaced by Amy Ehrlich and Jennifer Cihi for Season 3. Natasha Pearce became the series principal vocalist in Season 4, but Vale returned for the fourth season as well.

Four newsies {David Sidoni - Pie Eater; Mark David - Specs; Ivan Dudynsky - Dutchy; Dominic Lucero - Bumlets}. Song:Jump In The Fire Lyrics: Somebody tell me, tell me why. Why we run so fast and fall so far behind. Is it the headwind, the way we're carrying? Or are we racing, down a dead-end road? Are you gonna tell me, that you're ok.? You don't need to hear me preach all night and day. Is that what your heart says, hiding in your fortress? It loves to whisper things that we both know. You gotta let go! Jump in the fire! Run a little wild. Dive into the danger. Don't you think twice. Standing on the edge of life. Walking on a wire. Jump in the fire. Jump in the fire tonight. ..Tonight.... ..Jump in the fire.... Run a little wild. Dive into the danger. Don't you t...
DESCRIPTION UPDATED: JUNE 13th, 2015 As you may know, I am (well, as of now, once was) a fan of Nickelodeon's musical comedy show Roundhouse, and one of its stars, Dominic Lucero, tragically died of lymphatic cancer in 1994 at the age of 26. Like last year's Dominic tribute, which was Vlog #4 and uploaded on August 28th of 2013, I talked about his career and how awesome he was. Now looking back at it, I really didn't have to do this video. I mean, it was nice to honor Dominic once again, but this was simply just a clone of Vlog #4 and a failed attempt to use the Vlog Update intro on something that wasn't Update.
Dominic Lucero was born on August 28, 1967. He was a singer, dance and an actor who worked with Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, he was in Newsies Roundhouse, Stand and Deliver as well as La Bamba. On July 1, 1994, he succumbed to Lymphatic Cancer at the age of 26. (Yes, I know there's a lot of "The Way You Make Me Feel" photos in this, but they're cool so I kept them in)
The following Vlog Is Dedicated in Dominic Lucero's memory After competing on Star Search, dancing with MJ and Paula Abdul, being awesome in Newsies and "Dude-Ical" parts on Roundhouse, he was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 1993, returning to RH during the third season. Though during the fourth season of RH, Dom died of his cancer on July 1st, 1994. Dom was awesome, and he will forever be missed.....
What happens when you have 5 minutes and nothing to do? Seize The Day (chorale) from the movie Newsies to the song "Be a Rebel" from Nickelodeon's Roundhouse. Dominic Lucero/David Sidoni/Ivan Dudynsky overload! Yes, I know I copied the idea from EVERYONE else. Sorry for the crappy quality.
Intro to the Nickelodeon classic "Roundhouse" which premiered on SNICK on August 15, 1992. This is a HQ TVrip straight from The Splat. Before you ask, I will not post full episodes when The Splat airs them!!

Whenever my life gets me so down,
I know I can go down,
To where the music and the fun never ends.
As long as that music keeps playing,
You know what I'm saying,
I know that I can find a friend,
Down at the Roundhouse
