Donald Ward Preston also known as Dom DeWilde or Biff Debrie, is an American jazz and rock and roll musician.
Preston was born into a family of musicians in Detroit and began studying music at an early age. His father was the composer-in-residence for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Preston later did a stint in the army, serving in Trieste, Italy. Upon his return to Detroit during the early '50s, Preston associated with pianist Tommy Flanagan. He also sat in with Elvin Jones and others at the city's West End Cafe where Yusef Lateef conducted twice-a-week jam sessions with Milt Jackson's brother, bassist Alvin Jackson.
Preston moved to Los Angeles in 1957 where he hooked up with pianist Paul Bley, bassist Charlie Haden, and others who were hearing jazz in new ways.
Preston had a long collaboration with Frank Zappa as the keyboardist of the original Mothers of Invention. Preston performed and recorded with Zappa until 1974. During that time he was music director for Meredith Monk (with whom he had previously shared a house) and started recording and performing electronic music.
Don Rose (born Donald Duane Rosenberg; July 5, 1934 – March 30, 2005), also known as "Dr. Donald D. Rose" or just "Dr. Don", was an American radio personality on KFRC AM 610 in San Francisco, California from October 1973 to 1986. Prior to joining KFRC, Rose had been a prominent broadcaster at WQXI (AM) in Atlanta, Georgia, and WFIL in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was known for his one-liners, sound effects and philanthropy.
Rose was born Donald Duane Rosenberg in North Platte, Nebraska, and got his first experience in broadcasting at age 15 while reporting on his trip to the 1950 Boy Scout National Jamboree in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, for KODY in his hometown. He began his career in 1955 at KWBE in Beatrice, Nebraska, while majoring in accounting at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He moved to KLMN/Lincoln shortly thereafter, and then was hired by KOIL/Omaha, a job that appeared to be so promising that he dropped out of college in his senior year. However, he was fired by the station four weeks later.

Don K. Preston is a leading proponent of the Christian eschatological view, Preterism. He is President of the Preterist Research Institute in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Preston was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1949, a 1975 graduate of the Northside School of Preaching in Harrison, Arkansas. Preston has been in public speaking since the age of 13 and was voted among the Jaycees' "Outstanding Young Men of America," 1980. Preston's preaching ministry spanned nearly four decades in two different cities; Shawnee, Oklahoma and Ardmore, Oklahoma. Preston worked for seven years helping to produce a television program for a Christian magazine which received national recognition in the magazine, "Christianity Today."
In June 2010, Preston received an honorary Doctorate degree from Vision International University of Ramona, California, in recognition of his "outstanding accomplishments in ministry and publishing." Vision International has 140,000 students worldwide. Dr. Stan DeKoven stated at the graduation ceremony, attended by an estimated 1,000 people, that Vision seldom awards honorary Doctorate degrees, and never more than one per year.
Year 70 (LXX) was a common year starting on Monday (link will display the full calendar) of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Augustus and Vespasianus (or, less frequently, year 823 Ab urbe condita). The denomination 70 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years.

As I continue to read and study Gentry's book, Have We Missed the Second Coming? I am continually stunned by his failure to think analytically, logically and consistently. He hermeneutical failures are many - and fatal! He attempts to refute true preterism by an examination of Acts 24:14f, but, winds up impaling his own doctrine, again!

The topic of the two hour livestream YouTube debate will center on the "salvation of Israel" as promised in Romans 11:25-27. Dr. Pickett will affirm that national, ethnic Israel will be converted at the Second Coming of Christ out of heaven, at the very height of the Great Tribulation period, some seven years after the Rapture has r...

In response to the most commonly requested topic for me to discuss before taking a hiatus (due to my wife's impending surgery) I will offer a few thoughts on the question: If the end was in AD 70, why is there still evil in the world? I believe that one of the most fundamentally flawed eschatological views is that at the Day of the Lord, all sin would be destroyed! This ignores what the Bible says about Sanctuary!

Don Preston seems to thing he has a grip on understanding end eschatology and end times prophecies "all things fulfilled". That understanding is of preterism. Those that follow covenant eschatology and and preterist doctrine.
Don has composed and played jazz since the 50s, was a Frank Zappa sideman through his classic 60s albums and beyond, and has since released 20+ albums, scored 20 films, and has performed with artists including John Lennon, Lou Rawls, and Nat King Cole. He has also been called "the father of modern synthesis" for his work in electronic music. We discuss "Winds of Change" (3rd movement, 2001), "Palmer Park" (1975), and "Analog Heaven #7" (1975). I had my first digital camcorder and asked him if he would give me an hour of his time to explain why he believed Jesus Christ's 2nd coming was in 70 a.d. Instead of an hour he spoke to me for 3 1/2 hours. This is Part One of Four Parts.

Preston Morning Musings. https://www.youtube.com/user/MrDonPreston What is Eschatology? Eschatology is the study of ‘end things,’ it is the study of the destiny of humankind as it is described in the Bible. What is Preterism? Preterism is a Eschatological view that interprets some (Partial Preterism) or all (Full Preterism) prophesies of the Bible as events which have already happened. The term preterism comes from the Latin praeter, signifying that either all or a majority of Bible prophecy was fulfilled by AD 70. Adherents of preterism are commonly known as preterists.

End song: "Piano Solo" from TriAngular Bent (2016). Opening/closing music: "King Kong" from Uncle Meat by The Mothers of Invention. This conversation includes bonus conversations and songs! In 2003 Christ Covenant Church held a Prophecy Conference in St. Petesburg, Florida. I was there and filmed these entire event. In this debate Thomas Ice & Mark Hitchcock are in the affirmative that the 2nd Coming of Christ is a future event while Don K. Preston and John Anderson are in the negative arguing that the 2nd Coming of Christ was in 70 A.D. FOR SOME STRANGE REASON THE FIRST HOUR TWO MINUTES AND TWENTY SECONDS IS THE QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION AFTER THE DEBATE AND OF COURSE IT SHOULD BE AT THE END. IF YOU WANT TO START AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DEBATE GO TO THE 1 HR. 2 MINUTES AND 20 SECOND MARK OF THE DEBATE. THE PROGRAM I USED TO TAKE THIS OFF MY DVD DID NOT FUNCTION RIGHT AND I WILL TRY TO CORRECT IT LATER. IT TOOK ME 8 HOURS TO CONVERT THE DVD FOR YOUTUBE AND UPLOAD IT T...

This website youtube.com/israeldoctrine is freely available for all people; we do not place the burden of a price upon those who seek the Truth. Why do we not charge prices? Well, firstly because we are not to sell the truth to others: Proverbs 23:23, "Buy the truth, and sell it not." Matthew 10:8, "...freely ye have received, freely give." 1 Corinthians 9:18, "What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel." 2 Corinthians 11:7, "...I have preached to yo...
