Cash stolen from GMC accounts office

PANAJI: Cash amounting to 6.2 lakh was stolen from the accounts office of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim. The incident came to light on Wednesday morning. Police suspect that the thieveswho likely had inside knowledge of the departmententered the building by breaking the lock of the collapsible gate. Police sub-inspector (PSI) Ashish Parab is investigating the case.
