Warrior on the Edge of Time is Hawkwind's fifth studio album. It reached number 13 on the U.K. album charts and was their third and last album to make the U.S. Billboard chart, where it peaked at number 150. Many of the lyrics are by Michael Moorcock and the album is loosely based on the concept of Moorcock's 'Eternal Champion'. Reviews have been mixed, with Melody Maker panning the album and particularly criticizing the vocal work while the All Music Guide has praised the album for features such as the songwriting.
Throughout 1974, Hawkwind heavily toured the UK, Europe and North America with their set being composed predominantly from that year's Hall of the Mountain Grill album. Unusually for them, no new material had been introduced with the exception of some Michael Moorcock poems based on his Elric fictional character, which appeared on the 1974 live album The 1999 Party. In December through to February, the group embarked upon a series of UK dates known as "A Dead Singer" tour after the Moorcock story published in the accompanying tour programme, with support from Dr Feelgood (Wilko Johnson: "Us and Hawkwind were a great bill. We had just been signed by United Artists, Hawkwind's label. UA wanted to give us a little experience in the larger venues. That was where I first met and made friends with Lemmy, who turned out to be a good pal."). As the band owed one final single to United Artists to conclude their recording contract, during a mid-tour break they entered Olympic Studios on 5 and 6 January where they recorded Brock's "Kings of Speed" which featured lyrics written by Moorcock originally intended for inclusion on his New Worlds Fair album, Lemmy's "Motorhead" and House's "Spiral Galaxy". The first two were selected for the A and B side respectively, and the single was released on 7 March.
Rae Sremmurd is an American hip hop duo, composed of two brothers, Khalif "Swae Lee" Brown (20 years old) and Aaquil "Slim Jimmy" Brown (22 years old). They are best known for their platinum singles "No Flex Zone" and "No Type"; the latter peaked at numbers 36 and 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100, respectively. They are based in Atlanta, Georgia. Their debut album SremmLife was released on January 6, 2015. The name "Rae Sremmurd" is derived from the duo's home label, EarDrummers, by spelling each word backwards. The two have drawn comparison to Kris Kross.
The duo had been working for several years under the moniker "Dem Outta St8 Boyz", producing music at home and playing at local parties in their mom's basement and bars respectively. Back then they went by the names Kid Krunk (Swae Lee), Caliboy (Slim Jimmy) and Lil Pantz who is no longer a part of the group. They used money from their part-time jobs to be able to partake in traveling and auditioning in contests. The boys performed as a trio with additional kid, Andre Harrys and appeared on television during the "Wild Out Wednesday" segment of BET's hip hop and R&B show 106 and Park. The trio appeared on the segment for a second time, in which they finished second place overall in the competition, and had also managed to have meetings with representatives from record labels Def Jam Recordings and Sony Music, although they were unable to sign a record deal.
A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.

Oh, the universe
Flickering heart beats in their veins
Star children sky high, star children sky high
I never wanna forget, no I don’t wanna forget
A little warmth within the time
That takes away my passing days
But for now and for and for now
Waiting alone in my room
Looking at the reaper
Waiting within the sparkling light
Oh, my mind is terrified, kept tied in heavy chains
But I’ll break free on some great day
A hundred billion, a million trillion stars up in the sky
Please shine your light down on me
I’d like to believe the star children are true
Hey you kokoro bless me with your powerful grace
I never wanna shudder, I never wanna shudder again
I only want the world to see me as a brave hearted man
Is there anybody, anybody, anybody out there
Who can hear what I say?
With a drop of my tears reflecting the earth
And the light of a brand new day
With a streak of white lightning tearing up the sky
I will raise up a war cry for the world to hear
A hundred billion, a million trillion stars up in the sky
Please smile awhile for me
I’d like to lead the way for star children to be free
May all of their new life be blessed with abundance and joy
Oh, the universe
Flickering heart beats in their veins
Star children sky high
Oh, the universe
Flickering heart beats in their veins
