Stephanie Catherine Miller (born September 29, 1961) is an American comedienne and host of The Stephanie Miller Show, a progressive talk radio program produced in Los Angeles and syndicated nationally by Dial Global, and simulcast on television on the Current TV cable network. Talkers magazine ranked her as the 24th most important radio talk show host in America for 2010. In 2011, Talkers magazine ranked her the 21st most important radio talk show host in America. In 2012, Talkers magazine ranked her the 11th most important radio talk show host in America.

Miller was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up on Willow Street in Lockport, New York. She is the daughter of former U.S. Representative William E. Miller, who was Barry Goldwater's running mate in the 1964 presidential election and a Chairman of the Republican National Committee. After completing her secondary education in private Catholic schools, she attended the University of Southern California, earning a degree in theatre.

After graduation, Miller performed stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory, the legendary Hollywood comedy club. Later in her career, she performed at many comedy clubs around New York and Los Angeles.

Terry Phillips is a journalist, author and media consultant. As a foreign correspondent, he covered events around the world for CBS News, and reported regularly for NPR, MonitoRadio and the NBC/Mutual Broadcasting System. Phillips is a contributor to the Hellenic Journal. He also provides analysis for such publications as the San Francisco Chronicle and The Bakersfield Californian. For ten years, he co-hosted the Armenia Fund global telethon.

Phillips was born in Fresno, California. His father was a Greek refugee whose family fled Turkey during the post-World War I chaos. His mother was born in New York City, the daughter of Armenian immigrants from Turkey.

Phillips completed his high school education in San Jose, California, and then earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at Santa Clara University in 1975. He spent his junior year at l’Institut d’Etudes Françaises in Aix-en-Provence, France, and is fluent in French. He did graduate studies in journalism at California State University in San Jose and attended the Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California. He earned a certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation from Fresno Pacific University in 2010.

Howard Allan Stern (born January 12, 1954) is an American radio personality, television host, author, actor and photographer best known for his radio show which was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2005. He gained wide recognition in the 1990s where he was labeled a "shock jock" for his outspoken and sometimes controversial style. Stern has been exclusive to Sirius XM Radio, a subscription-based satellite radio service, since 2006. The son of a former recording and radio engineer, Stern wished to pursue a career in radio at the age of five. While at Boston University he worked at the campus station WTBU before a brief stint at WNTN in Newton, Massachusetts.

He developed his on-air personality when he landed positions at WRNW in Briarcliff Manor, WCCC in Hartford and WWWW in Detroit. In 1981, he was paired with his current newscaster and co-host Robin Quivers at WWDC in Washington, D.C. Stern then moved to WNBC in New York City in 1982 to host afternoons until his firing in 1985. He re-emerged on WXRK that year, and became one of the most popular radio personalities during his 20-year tenure at the station. Stern's show is the most-fined radio program, after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued fines to station licensees for allegedly indecent material that totaled $2.5 million. Stern has won Billboard's Nationally Syndicated Air Personality of the Year award eight times, and is one of the highest-paid figures in radio.

Philip Seymour Hoffman (born July 23, 1967) is an American actor and director. Hoffman began acting in television in 1991, and the following year started to appear in films. He gradually gained recognition for his supporting work in a series of notable films, including Scent of a Woman (1992), Twister (1996), Boogie Nights (1997), The Big Lebowski (1998), Magnolia (1999), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Almost Famous (2000), 25th Hour (2002), Cold Mountain (2003), and Mission: Impossible III (2006).

In 2005, Hoffman played the title role in the biographical film Capote (2005), for which he won multiple acting awards including an Academy Award for Best Actor. He received another two Academy Award nominations for his supporting work in Charlie Wilson's War (2007) and Doubt (2008). Other critically acclaimed films in recent years have included Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007), The Savages (2007) and Synecdoche, New York (2008). In 2010, Hoffman made his feature film directorial debut with Jack Goes Boating‎.
