6. Third Eye Pyramid
A stone pyramid, about ten inches tall, was discovered in the jungles of Ecuador in the 1980s. The artifact is part of a collection of objects known as the La Mana artifacts. The stone depicts a series of thirteen stone layers which represent bricks engraved on the front of the item. There is also an inlaid eye carved at the pyramid’s pinnacle. When placed underneath a black light, the thirteen layers of carved bricks and eye at the top shine with a vivid luminescence. The patterns on this object are eerily similar to the image depicted on a U.S. one dollar bill--a pyramid with thirteen steps with an all-seeing eye at the top. Are there any supernatural connections to this ancient item and the illustrations on the present-day dollar bill? The answer may never be revealed.

A translucent skull head, made of solid quartz crystal, unearthed in an ancient Mayan ruin has puzzled scientists for years, but is it real?. Skulls have been popping up over the centuries with people testifying to their authenticity, although few have made it to the science lab for observational analysis. Thomas Jefferson was aware of great structures in the Ohio Valley and even bigger ones in the center of the continent. Farmers and settlers, particularly in the Ohio and Mississippi Valleys and eastward into New York and West Virginia and southward to Tennessee, frequently came upon ancient mounds and structures on the lands they were settling. The plow and the shovel regularly dug up artifacts which most often were discarded or became part of a wall, fence, or other structure. The mounds and structures were torn down and used for landfill and construction as white settlers expanded into the continent.

6. Stonehenge
One of the most well-known ancient mysteries is the monument of Stonehenge, located in the English county of Wiltshire. This is built in a circle using extremely large rocks standing up vertically and is believed to have been built about 2500 BC. One of the biggest rocks found at this site is about 30 feet tall and weighs about 25 tons. What’s truly strange about this is, the closest place they could have gotten the stone from was a quarry about 20 miles away to the north. People at this time, considered the land to be sacred due to fact the abundance of game meat available here. Many theories are out there trying to explain why it was constructed and acted as a symbol of unification, while others believe it was a religious site. Some claim it was built with ball bearings like you see in this photo.
5. Gobekli Tepe
Archaeologists came across a startling discovery six miles from Urfa, an ancient city in southeastern Turkey when they dug up massive carved stones believed to be 11 thousand years old. These were made when mankind had yet to develop metal tools or even pottery. The Smithsonian questions whether or not it’s the world’s oldest temple. It predates stonehenge by about 6,000 years. This location would have been a Mecca for hunters and gatherers at that time, centuries before farming was developed. As they dug deeper, they realized it was arranged in a circle, made of limestone blocks. Using only flint tools workers shaped the stone into pillars before moving them a few hundred yards to the site of the temple.

Many of us think of Easter Island and a tiny little place in the Pacific off the coast of Chile with mysterious heads sticking out from the ground. You have never known that these mysterious wonders get even more mysterious. These were constructed around the years 1250-1500 BC, by people of Polynesian ancestry. Recent discoveries like you see in this photo, prove that these actually have bodies attached to their heads! As people began to dig deeper, they uncovered that the statues fo much deeper than previously thought. They’ve also exposed carvings on their backs and their meanings have yet to be uncovered. Some believe it represents the traditional tribal of their culture.
3. Bosnian Pyramid
Many wouldn’t come to Bosnia and expect to see a pyramid. It’s possibly that because it wasn’t discovered until 2005. If the claims are real, the Bosnian Pyramid would be 25000 years old and the oldest pyramid ever built. Archaeologists are extremely skeptical of this because it defies accepted history. If you take a close look at it, it truly takes the form of a man made structure. Many want these extraordinary claims to be backed up by extraordinary evidence before it is accepted among the archaeology community. If it is real, it does deserve a place on our list. This is an incredible work of architecture in the middle of the Andes Mountains and shows what kind of feats the Inca Civilization was capable of. There are a few reasons archaeologists believe it was built. Some claim it was a ceremonial site, a military stronghold or even getaway for the ruling elite. Despite not having advanced warfare technology like some of their foes, they still excelled in knowledge pertaining to agriculture, architecture and astronomy. Many of these well crafted stones cannot even be penetrated with a knife, proving how well the stones fit together.

No other monument has created so much intrigue other that these feats of engineering that we still couldn’t reproduce to this day. The paste used to combine the stones is from an unknown origin and even with all our technology, we cannot reproduce it’s chemical compound. It remained the world's tallest building for 3,800 years and each side is the same length within 10th’s of an inch. All of this was supposedly constructed without the technology of the the wheel or without metal tool. The quarry used to get the stones was at least 500 miles from the location of Giza. It almost appears as though humans could not have succeeded in completing these structures without help from out of this world.

Most Americans have no idea that ancient cities with advanced architectures once dotted the ancient North American landscape. It is estimated that there once existed over 200,000 cities, structures and mounds across the continent. Monk's Mound in the ancient site of Cahokia, across from St. Louis, has a footprint bigger than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and Cahokia’s population was estimated to be greater than that of London or Rome. Some sites still existing, like the Newark Earthworks in Ohio, reveal a culture that was very sophisticated in its knowledge of mathematics and astronomy. Ancient civilizations once inhabited North America, and this fact was common knowledge 200 years ago. The biggest architecture George Washington ever saw was an earthen structure built by ancient Americans. Thomas Jefferson was aware of great structures in the Ohio Valley and even bigger ones in the center of the continent. Farmers and settlers, particularly in the Ohio and Mississippi Valleys and eastward into New York and West Virginia and southward to Tennessee, frequently came upon ancient mounds and structures on the lands they were settling. The plow and the shovel regularly dug up artifacts which most often were discarded or became part of a wall, fence, or other structure. The mounds and structures were torn down and used for landfill and construction as white settlers expanded into the continent. -

Stonehenge One of the most well-known ancient mysteries is the monument of Stonehenge, located in the English county of Wiltshire. This is built in a circle using extremely large rocks standing up vertically and is believed to have been built about 2500 BC. One of the biggest rocks found at this site is about 30 feet tall and weighs about 25 tons. What’s truly strange about this is, the closest place they could have gotten the stone from was a quarry about 20 miles away to the north. People at this time, considered the land to be sacred due to fact the abundance of game meat available here. Many theories are out there trying to explain why it was constructed and acted as a symbol of unification, while others believe it was a religious site. Some claim it was built with ball bearings like you see in this photo. 5. Gobekli Tepe Archaeologists came across a startling discovery six miles from Urfa, an ancient city in southeastern Turkey when they dug up massive carved stones believed to be 11 thousand years old. These were made when mankind had yet to develop metal tools or even pottery. The Smithsonian questions whether or not it’s the world’s oldest temple. It predates stonehenge by about 6,000 years. This location would have been a Mecca for hunters and gatherers at that time, centuries before farming was developed. As they dug deeper, they realized it was arranged in a circle, made of limestone blocks. Using only flint tools workers shaped the stone into pillars before moving them a few hundred yards to the site of the temple. 4.Easter Island Many of us think of Easter Island and a tiny little place in the Pacific off the coast of Chile with mysterious heads sticking out from the ground. You have never known that these mysterious wonders get even more mysterious. These were constructed around the years 1250-1500 BC, by people of Polynesian ancestry. Recent discoveries like you see in this photo, prove that these actually have bodies attached to their heads! As people began to dig deeper, they uncovered that the statues fo much deeper than previously thought. They’ve also exposed carvings on their backs and their meanings have yet to be uncovered. Some believe it represents the traditional tribal of their culture. 3. Bosnian Pyramid Many wouldn’t come to Bosnia and expect to see a pyramid. It’s possibly that because it wasn’t discovered until 2005. If the claims are real, the Bosnian Pyramid would be 25000 years old and the oldest pyramid ever built. Archaeologists are extremely skeptical of this because it defies accepted history. If you take a close look at it, it truly takes the form of a man made structure. Many want these extraordinary claims to be backed up by extraordinary evidence before it is accepted among the archaeology community. If it is real, it does deserve a place on our list. Machu Picchu This is an incredible work of architecture in the middle of the Andes Mountains and shows what kind of feats the Inca Civilization was capable of. There are a few reasons archaeologists believe it was built. Some claim it was a ceremonial site, a military stronghold or even getaway for the ruling elite. Despite not having advanced warfare technology like some of their foes, they still excelled in knowledge pertaining to agriculture, architecture and astronomy. Many of these well crafted stones cannot even be penetrated with a knife, proving how well the stones fit together. 1.Great Pyramids of Giza There is no other wonder of the ancient world quite as mysterious as the ancient pyramids of Giza. No other monument has created so much intrigue other that these feats of engineering that we still couldn’t reproduce to this day. It’s estimated that there’s a total of 2.3 million limestone blocks that weigh at least 2-30 tons each and is precisely aligned with the constellation of orion. The paste used to combine the stones is from an unknown origin and even with all our technology, we cannot reproduce it’s chemical compound. It remained the world's tallest building for 3,800 years and each side is the same length within 10th’s of an inch. All of this was supposedly constructed without the technology of the the wheel or without metal tool. The quarry used to get the stones was at least 500 miles from the location of Giza. It almost appears as though humans could not have succeeded in completing these structures without help from out of this world. -

Granny tells her granddaughter Rosaleen strange, disturbing tales about innocent maidens falling in love with handsome, heavily eyebrowed strangers with a smoldering look in their eyes; about sudden disappearances of spouses when the moon is round & the wolves are howling in the woods; about babies found inside stork eggs, in a stork nest high up a tree; etc., etc. Of course the story of Little Red Ridinghood is also present, with a very handsome he-wolf! (And of course this he-wolf consumes Grandmother, but 'consumes' Little Red Ridinghood). All the stories are somehow reducible to loss of innocence, and fear of/hunger for (a newly acquired sense of) sexuality; their Freudian character is mirrored in their dreamlike shapes. This movie is not really a horror movie; it's more a multiple tale about growing up into adolescence.

At the same time the cattle lord Grimsell arrives in town with two gunfighters, Gunn and Blondie, and tells the Preacher that he will be crossing 20,000 head of cattle through their lands and their town. Although the preacher tries to explain that the people own the land, Grimsell is not interested in their rights. When Blondie sees Tom Early, he draws his gun but is shot by Tom, in self defense, and kills the gunman. He then invites Jo to work on the farm. While the Preacher wants to send an emissary to Laramie to bring the law to his town, Grimsell summons more than thirty gunfighters to work for him. When the emissary is murdered by Gunn, the naive Preacher organizes a posse to unsuccessfully fight against Grimsell. The farmers are ambushed and attacked and the survivors return to the town. But Tom Early decides to provoke a stampede and fight against Grimsell.

6. Third Eye Pyramid
A stone pyramid, about ten inches tall, was discovered in the jungles of Ecuador in the 1980s. The artifact is part of a collection of objects known as the La Mana artifacts. The stone depicts a series of thirteen stone layers which represent bricks engraved on the front of the item. There is also an inlaid eye carved at the pyramid’s pinnacle. When placed underneath a black light, the thirteen layers of carved bricks and eye at the top shine with a vivid luminescence. The patterns on this object are eerily similar to the image depicted on a U.S. one dollar bill--a pyramid with thirteen steps with an all-seeing eye at the top. Are there any supernatural connections to this ancient item and the illustrations on the present-day dollar bill? The answer may never be revealed.

A translucent skull head, made of solid quartz crystal, unearthed in an ancient Mayan ruin has puzzled scientists for years, but is it real?. Skulls have been popping up over the centuries with people testifying to their authenticity, although few have made it to the science lab for observational analysis. If these skulls actually originated from ancient cultures, then they truly are a marvel. The skulls that have been examined under a microscope appear to be completely unscathed by archaic tools that could have been used to craft them. If genuine, what kind of advanced technologies did ancient people possess to make them, or did they receive help from something not of this world?

A rare find in 2015 of the fabled orichalcum metal has been discovered scattered on the seafloor in Sicily close to an underwater shipwreck. The metal was revered in archaic times because it was believed that it had a value similar to gold. The ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, wrote about the metal in one of his treatises and claimed that it came from the legendary city of Atlantis, which still has yet to be discovered. Under examination, scientists found that the orichalcum ingots are made up of nothing more than the combination of a few cheap metals--copper, zinc, nickel, lead, and iron. So, are these actual specimens of the mythical metal, or are they just a peculiar find?

A 13th-century blade unearthed in Lincolnshire( linkin sure), England was discovered in 1825, but it is still an object of bewilderment to this day. The sword is still in good condition, and considering the period during which it was made, it is an admirable instrument capable (reeking) wreaking havoc on its foes. The double-edged sword has a blade crafted from German steel mounted on an English-made hilt. What still confounds scholars is the inscription written in some unknown language on one side of the blade. Some believe the dialect is derived from Latin and has religious meaning. Or, perhaps, it is a magical incantation believed to imbue the sword with enchanting powers.

This confounding object was accidentally discovered by an English couple in 1936 encased in a rock in the ground. When the couple cracked open the rock, they exposed what was inside, which resembled an old hammer with a wooden handle. When they turned it over to archaeologists, what they found was astonishing. The tool was, in fact, a hammer, but the rock it was confined in is more than 400 million years old. The hammer itself is reportedly over 500 million years old, which is way before humans ever walked the earth. This anachronism is an obvious mistake, and scientists have proposed that they haven’t been able to accurately date the hammer because the rock it was embedded in, began to infuse into the composition of the tool, obscuring its actual age.

6. Stonehenge
One of the most well-known ancient mysteries is the monument of Stonehenge, located in the English county of Wiltshire. This is built in a circle using extremely large rocks standing up vertically and is believed to have been built about 2500 BC. One of the biggest rocks found at this site is about 30 feet tall and weighs about 25 tons. What’s truly strange about this is, the closest place they could have gotten the stone from was a quarry about 20 miles away to the north. People at this time, considered the land to be sacred due to fact the abundance of game meat available here. Many theories are out there trying to explain why it was constructed and acted as a symbol of unification, while others believe it was a religious site. Some claim it was built with ball bearings like you see in this photo.
5. Gobekli Tepe
Archaeologists came across a startling discovery six miles from Urfa, an ancient city in southeastern Turkey when they dug up massive carved stones believed to be 11 thousand years old. These were made when mankind had yet to develop metal tools or even pottery. The Smithsonian questions whether or not it’s the world’s oldest temple. It predates stonehenge by about 6,000 years. This location would have been a Mecca for hunters and gatherers at that time, centuries before farming was developed. As they dug deeper, they realized it was arranged in a circle, made of limestone blocks. Using only flint tools workers shaped the stone into pillars before moving them a few hundred yards to the site of the temple.
4.Easter Island
Many of us think of Easter Island and a tiny little place in the Pacific off the coast of Chile with mysterious heads sticking out from the ground. You have never known that these mysterious wonders get even more mysterious. These were constructed around the years 1250-1500 BC, by people of Polynesian ancestry. Recent discoveries like you see in this photo, prove that these actually have bodies attached to their heads! As people began to dig deeper, they uncovered that the statues fo much deeper than previously thought. They’ve also exposed carvings on their backs and their meanings have yet to be uncovered. Some believe it represents the traditional tribal of their culture.
3. Bosnian Pyramid
Many wouldn’t come to Bosnia and expect to see a pyramid. It’s possibly that because it wasn’t discovered until 2005. If the claims are real, the Bosnian Pyramid would be 25000 years old and the oldest pyramid ever built. Archaeologists are extremely skeptical of this because it defies accepted history. If you take a close look at it, it truly takes the form of a man made structure. Many want these extraordinary claims to be backed up by extraordinary evidence before it is accepted among the archaeology community. If it is real, it does deserve a place on our list. This is an incredible work of architecture in the middle of the Andes Mountains and shows what kind of feats the Inca Civilization was capable of. There are a few reasons archaeologists believe it was built. Some claim it was a ceremonial site, a military stronghold or even getaway for the ruling elite. Despite not having advanced warfare technology like some of their foes, they still excelled in knowledge pertaining to agriculture, architecture and astronomy. Many of these well crafted stones cannot even be penetrated with a knife, proving how well the stones fit together.

No other monument has created so much intrigue other that these feats of engineering that we still couldn’t reproduce to this day. It’s estimated that there’s a total of 2.3 million limestone blocks that weigh at least 2-30 tons each and is precisely aligned with the constellation of orion. The paste used to combine the stones is from an unknown origin and even with all our technology, we cannot reproduce it’s chemical compound. It remained the world's tallest building for 3,800 years and each side is the same length within 10th’s of an inch. All of this was supposedly constructed without the technology of the the wheel or without metal tool. The quarry used to get the stones was at least 500 miles from the location of Giza. It almost appears as though humans could not have succeeded in completing these structures without help from out of this world.

Churches of Goreme (go-reem) -- Around 2,000 years ago, a volcano erupted in Turkey … the lava and ash formed soft rocks in the country’s Cappadocia (kappa-doe-sha) region, that covered some 20,000 kilometers. Present day fairy chimneys were formed as the softer rock was eroded by water and wind, but leaving a the hard cap rock atop the pillars. The people of Goreme, in the heart of the region, realized it was easy to carve houses, monasteries and churches from out of the soft rock. The Christian sanctuaries contains numerous examples of Byzantine artwork. The colorful frescoes are considered an exceptional artistic achievement from this period.

Kailasha temple
Ellora Caves -- Located in India, this site is thought to represent the pinnacle of Indian rock-cut architecture … and is one of the largest such complexes in the world. Ellora features 34 caves excavated out of the rock. And the caves consist of artwork and monuments of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism (jane-ism) from the period of 600-1000 AD, thought to be when the caves were built. It’s now an archaeological site … but historically, the caves have served as temples for prayers, monasteries for monks and a place for pilgrims to rest. Did you know the world’s single largest monolithic rock excavation is found here? It’s called the Kailasha (kel-asha) Temple, a monument dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. It’s especially notable for its vertical excavation … that is, carvers started from the top of the original rock, then excavated downward. Amazingly, its area is twice the size of the Parthenon in Athens.

Lycian (liss-ee-un) Tombs -- The ancient Lycians (liss-ee-uns) were a group of people that didn’t leave behind the most detailed historical record … but they did leave behind some amazing architecture! Lycia was actually a federation of ancient cities located in present-day Turkey. Many of their tombs were cut directly into the rock face, most often a cliff. Masada -- Its name in Hebrew means ‘stronghold’ or ‘mountain castle’ … an apt description. It’s often considered a fortress, and is found in Israel, on the western shore of the Dead Sea. It was built by Herod the Great in the 1st century BC. The plateau upon which it was built was surrounded by deep gorges and naturally fortified. And it was known for its ingenious engineering, containing a palace, barracks, a storehouse and an armory. Today, it might be best known for a battle between the Roman legions and 960 Jewish Zealots … which ended with the Zealots mass suicide in 73 AD

Churches of Goreme (go-reem) -- Around 2,000 years ago, a volcano erupted in Turkey … the lava and ash formed soft rocks in the country’s Cappadocia (kappa-doe-sha) region, that covered some 20,000 kilometers. Present day fairy chimneys were formed as the softer rock was eroded by water and wind, but leaving a the hard cap rock atop the pillars. The people of Goreme, in the heart of the region, realized it was easy to carve houses, monasteries and churches from out of the soft rock. The Christian sanctuaries contains numerous examples of Byzantine artwork. The colorful frescoes are considered an exceptional artistic achievement from this period.

Kailasha temple
Ellora Caves -- Located in India, this site is thought to represent the pinnacle of Indian rock-cut architecture … and is one of the largest such complexes in the world. Ellora features 34 caves excavated out of the rock. And the caves consist of artwork and monuments of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism (jane-ism) from the period of 600-1000 AD, thought to be when the caves were built. It’s now an archaeological site … but historically, the caves have served as temples for prayers, monasteries for monks and a place for pilgrims to rest. Did you know the world’s single largest monolithic rock excavation is found here? It’s called the Kailasha (kel-asha) Temple, a monument dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. It’s especially notable for its vertical excavation … that is, carvers started from the top of the original rock, then excavated downward. Amazingly, its area is twice the size of the Parthenon in Athens.
