Paige (wrestler)

Saraya-Jade Bevis (born 17 August 1992) is an English professional wrestler and actress. She is signed to WWE, where she performs under the ring name Paige. She is a two-time WWE Divas Champion. She has the longest reign (at 308 days), as well as being the inaugural NXT Women's Champion in WWE's developmental branch, NXT – at one point, she held both championships concurrently.

At the age of 13, Bevis made her debut in 2005 in the World Association of Wrestling, a promotion run by her family, under the ring name Britani Knight. She went on to hold several championships on independent circuits within Europe. In 2011, she signed a contract with WWE and started wrestling within its developmental systems, eventually debuting on WWE's main roster in April 2014. In her debut match on the main roster, she won the Divas Championship for the first time, becoming the second woman in WWE history to win a championship in her debut match and the youngest champion in the title's history at the age of 21.

Paige (band)

Paige were a Pop punk/rock band formed in 2006 in Hertfordshire, England, by then guitarist and vocalist Lewis White and drummer Alex Tillbrook. They have performed across Europe and Japan under UK label Small Town Records and Japan based label Kick Rock Music. Their latest EP was released on 24 January 2011 entitled, 'Young Summer', the video for the title track was filmed across 2 days in Sweden has been featured on the television station Kerrang. They have supported a number of bands including Kids In Glass Houses, You Me At Six and Bring Me The Horizon and are currently working on their first full-length album.

History

Paige was formed in 2006 by Lewis White on guitar and vocals and Alex Tillbrook on drums, the band release their debut E.P. "If you say so" in 2008 by which time the band had also features Aaron Hunt on guitar, Nathan White on Bass guitar and Paul Hinwood on Keyboards. Between the release of the debut and its follow up, Nathan White departed the band. The band released their second E.P. "Young Summer" in 2011 to a mixed response from fans and critics who saw it as a lesser achievement than its predecessor. Arthur Walwin who fulfilled the remainder of the band's tour in support of "Young Summer" before the band began writing their first full-length album. The band have gradually begun playing songs from their upcoming album on their more recent tours.

Daffney

Shannon Claire Spruill (born July 17, 1975) is an American professional wrestler and valet currently working for Shine Wrestling. She is best known for her appearances with World Championship Wrestling between 1999 and 2001 under the ring name Daffney and for working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as a TNA Knockout, where she used the ring name "The Governor", a caricature of Alaska governor and former United States Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, before returning to her Daffney ring name and gimmick.

Early life

As a "military brat", Shannon Claire Spruill was born on July 17, 1975, at the Wiesbaden Army Airfield; which is United States Air Force base in Wiesbaden, West Germany, where her father was stationed. In 1976, her family returned to the United States, residing first in Salt Lake City, Utah, then in Savannah, Georgia and finally on the Scott Air Force Base in St. Clair County, Illinois. They later relocated to Oxford in the United Kingdom for three years, before moving to the Ramstein Air Base in Germany until 1987, when her father, by then a Lieutenant Colonel, retired.

Shannon Racing Cars

Shannon Racing Cars was a Formula One constructor from the United Kingdom with Aiden Jones, formerly a mechanic for Prince Bira and Prince Chula, and Paul Emery as the principals. Using a car built by former Emeryson designer Emery and an old Coventry Climax engine, they participated in a single Grand Prix. Trevor Taylor drove for the team at the 1966 British Grand Prix, retiring early in the race. The car was then used for Formula 3 until 1969.

SH1

The only F1 chassis Shannon Racing Cars made had steel monocoque frame, upper and lower wishbone front suspension with outboard brake and anti-roll bar. It was a very compact design with upper I arm and lower reversed A arm with upper and lower radius arms mated with outboard spring/damper unit, outboard brake and anti-roll bar in the rear. The rear arm of the front upper A arm was much thicker than the front tube, acting as a canti-lever to operate the inboard spring/damper unit mounted vertically. The monocoque extended to the rear of the engine, with the gearbox sticking out further aft. Another monocoque tub was made in aluminium, but was never used.

Shannon (unit)

The shannon (symbol Sh), also known as a bit, is a unit of information and of entropy defined by IEC 80000-13. One shannon is the information content of an event when the probability of that event occurring is one half. It is also the entropy of a system with two equiprobable states. If a message is made of a sequence of bits, with all possible bit strings equally likely, the message's information content expressed in shannons is equal to the number of bits in the sequence. For this and historical reasons, a shannon is more commonly known as a bit, despite that "bit" is also used as a unit of data (or of computer storage, equal to 1/8 of a byte).

The shannon is named after Claude Shannon.
