Born in China, Dai did some modeling in Japan and Shanghai. While in Shanghai he was talent-spotted by MediaCorp and moved to Singapore to sign the contract. His big break came in 2008 when he played Yamamoto Yousuke, a Japanese photographer, in the blockbuster series The Little Nyonya and earned a nomination for the Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Star Awards. This is the first time he paired with Jeanette Aw.
Dai paired the second time with Jeanette Aw in "Together". Dai acted Yang Nian Qing's (Jeanette Aw) brother in Breakout. This is the third time Dai acted with Jeanette Aw. After the 2010 year-end blockbuster Breakout, Dai acted in Poetic Justice (TV series), where he was coupled with Rui En for the first time.He briefly returned to China to film a co-production drama Precious. He played Ling Zhi Chu in "Precious".

Ng started off as a model with Elite Models Singapore, then Looque Models Singapore. He was discovered by MediaCorp DJ and Host, Dennis Chew and Belinda Lee during his university days. They were filming a variety show called "School Belle and the Beau 流星花园" in National University of Singapore. His performance in the variety show "School Belle and the Beau" attracted the MediaCorp producer, and they decided to gave him a supporting role in year 2005 series, "A Life of Hope 活下去" where he acted alongside Joanne Peh. Due to his performance in A Life of Hope, MediaCorp decided to sign him under MediaCorp Artiste. He began his career in acting in 2005 and received two nominations in the Star Awards 2006. Although he lost the Most Popular Newcomer award to Kelvin Tan Weilian, he won an award for making the list of Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes. He won the Rocket Award for the biggest breakthrough at the Star Awards 2010 after making the "Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes" list three consecutive times and earning a Best Actor nomination for his performance as a young man with autism in the series Breakout and also he was nominated for best on-screen couple with Zhou Ying in the same year.

Breakout (simplified Chinese: 破天网) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which was telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It made its debut on 6 December 2010 and ended on 7 January 2011. This drama serial consists of 25 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm.
Being the end-year Channel 8 blockbuster of 2010, it was the tenth Channel 8 drama to be fully filmed in HD and the first to be filmed in Dolby Digital.
This drama will be encored from 30 November 2011 to 3 January 2012 at midnight, and this time rated PG for violence, similar to The Ultimatum. However, The Family Court and The Score were not being broadcast at midnight, but at 5.30pm instead.
Breakout was one of two blockbuster dramas for the year 2010 and has been mistaken to be Channel 8's anniversary special. There were no anniversary dramas that year.
The drama's title translates to the Technical Analysis term in financial markets, referring to super-villain Yang Tianwei's attempt to trade using that strategy so as to get rich quickly enough to seek revenge for his murdered son rather than wait for justice to be meted out.
Jeanette Aw Ee-Ping (born 28 June 1979), better known by her stage name Ou Xuan (欧萱), is a Singaporean actress and author. She has been a full-time Mediacorp artist for 14 years and is managed by Artiste Networks, a subsidiary of Hype Records. Through her television career, Aw has established herself as one of the most popular and high-profile celebrities in Singapore. She has received several awards, including "All-Time Favourite Artiste" at Mediacorp's Star Awards. Aw has published two books – the best-selling Jeanette Aw: Definitions in 2012 and Sol’s World: Somebody to Love in 2015 – and starred in musical Beauty World in 2015.
While in college, Aw entered Route to Glamour, in which she placed first. She signed on with SPH Mediaworks and made her acting debut in the 2001 drama Touched. Aw then switched to Mediacorp in 2002 and played Mo Jingjing in Holland V (2003). Aw was named as one of the Mediacorp 7 Princesses in 2006, after which she achieved wider success with her leading role in acclaimed drama The Little Nyonya (2008). Aw garnered critical appreciation for portraying flawed actress, Zhao Fei Er, in The Dream Makers (2013) and its 2015 sequel. She holds the record for the most Best Actress nominations at the Star Awards without a win, with six. Aw's off-screen roles include duties as a brand ambassador for several Singapore and international companies.

Super hilarious. Explanation below... Christopher Lee as - Chong Liung Man (Director of "Breakout") Li Teng as - kenna lorry buang version of Dai Yang Tian Kola Zhou Ying as - herself. In the show, she kept repeating the same line "kill my Daddy, my Mummy, my brother" Dennis Chew as - Guo Liang. While filming the drama, Guo Liang kept asking Director "why must include this line?" "Why not change to this line?" His over inquisitive character annoyed the Director. Guo Liang as - Elvin Ng (who played an autistic character who had to eat chocolate at 4.30pm) Guo Liang and Elvin engaged in a blog war in October 2010. Elvin blogged about a "bad person" whom he met in the industry and felt that the person was nitpicking on him over his replies, be it in interviews or during his th...

time to breakout
now it's time to go
try to breakout or you'll never know
so have a drink or 3 and sing with me
wild rover
roam 'til you're free
in the days of 1916, back before the dawn of time
when i was just a gleam to my grandpa before
well he found a little lassie
to whom, he took a fancy
and they had my mum and then they had some more
and he told me with a grin
as he took a sip of gin
someday son you'll breathe free celtic air
and it may not be today
but look now that's o.k.
cause someday son the soldiers will
all march away
try to breakout now
it's time to go
try to breakout or you'll never know
so have a drink or 3
and sing with me
scotland, ireland and wales must be free
try to breakout
or you'll never know
try to breakout
or you'll never really know
time to breakout
or you'll never really know
time to breakout
or you'll never really
never really know
now every boy around the world
dreams he could save the day
be the hero, get the girland walk away
now grandpa isn't here today
and the soldiers are still there
but i love an irish girl who took my name
and we'll raise our kids to know
the tales of scotland's woes
and hope that someday they will
breathe free air
and it may not be today
but look now that's o.k.
cause someday son the soldiers will
