Gżira
Gżira (Maltese: Il-Gżira) is a town in the Central Region of Malta. It is located between Msida and Sliema, also bordering on Ta' Xbiex. It has a population of 8,029 as of March 2014. The word Gżira means "island" in Maltese, and the town is named after Manoel Island which lies just adjacent to the town. The seafront of Gżira is famed for its views of the walled city of Valletta, which are illuminated at night, forming a picturesque backdrop to Manoel Island, the yacht marina and a seafront public garden. Kappara is located close to Gżira.
Manoel Island
Manoel Island in Gżira's Marsamxett Harbour, was originally known as l'Isola del Vescovo or il-Gżira tal-Isqof in Maltese (literally translated as "the Bishop's Island"). In 1643 Jean Paul Lascaris, Grandmaster of the Knights of Malta, constructed a quarantine hospital (Lazzaretto) on the island, in an attempt to control the periodic influx of plague and cholera on board visiting ships.
The island was renamed after António Manoel de Vilhena, a Portuguese Grandmaster of the Knights of Malta under whose leadership Fort Manoel was built in 1726. Fort Manoel is considered a marvel of 18th century military engineering. The original plans for the Fort are attributed to Louis d'Augbigne Tigné, and are said to have been modified by his friend and colleague Charles François de Mondion, who is buried in a crypt beneath Fort Manoel. At one time, the Knights of Malta considered developing a walled city on Manoel Island, but instead they settled on a fort designed to house up to 500 soldiers. The Fort has a magnificent quadrangle, parade ground and arcade, and once housed a baroque chapel dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, under the direct command of the Order.

Marsaskala , sometimes spelt Marsascala (M'Scala), is a sea-side village in the South Eastern Region of Malta that has grown around the small harbour at the head of Marsaskala Bay, a long narrow inlet also known as Marsaskala Creek. The bay is sheltered to the north by Ras iż-Żonqor, the south-east corner of Malta, and to the south by the headland of Ras il-Gżira.
The parish church is dedicated to Sant Anna (St. Anne) and St. Anne's feast is celebrated at the end of July in Marsaskala.
The town has a winter population of 12,134 people (as of March 2014), but swells to around 20,000 in summer. Wekipedia

Este vídeo nos lleva a las islas de Gozo y Comino que, junto a Malta, forman el archipiélago maltés. Es ideal para disfrutar de la naturaleza, de la tranquilidad y de la vida rural. Para llegar hasta Gozo hay que tomar un ferry que sale de la localidad maltesa de Cirkewwa y atraca en el puerto de Mgarr.
Es imprescindible visitar Dweira Bay donde está La Ventana Azul, un arco natural de unos 20 metros de altura. Aquí se encuentra también el Mar Interior, una piscina natural rodeada de acantilados y conectada por un túnel con mar abierto. Desde aquí es muy recomendable dirigirse a la bahía de Xlendi, de aguas cristalinas.
La capital de Gozo es Victoria que destaca por su Ciudadela en la que hay edificaciones antiguas como la Norman House, que acoge el Museo del Folklore, o el Museo de la Tortura.
En el norte de Gozo están las salinas de Qbajjar, que se cree que tienen su origen en la época romana, y la bahía de Xwejni. Por último, en el sur de la isla, están los templos de Ggantija, considerados unos de los más antiguos del mundo que se mantienen en pie.
Por su parte, en la isla de Comino, con tan sólo tres kilómetros de superficie, está el tesoro mejor guardado del archipiélago maltés: la Laguna Azul, un brazo de mar donde las aguas son cristalinas y turquesas.
