Rt Hon Tony Benn was a Member of Parliament for 50 years, and a Cabinet Minister under Harold Wilson and James Callaghan. He served as Minister of Technology, Secretary of State for Energy, Secretary of State for Industry as well as Chairman of the Labour Party.
Benn has topped several polls as the 'most popular politician in Britain'; he has been described as 'one of the few UK politicians to have become more left-wing after holding ministerial office'.
He is currently President of the Stop the War Coalition.

So today Craig is going to look at political ideology in America. We're going to focus on liberals and conservatives and talk about the influencers of both of these viewpoints. Now, it's important to remember that political ideologies don't always perfectly correspond with political parties, and this correspondence becomes less and less likely over time. So, sure we can say that Democrats tend to be liberal and Republicans tend to be conservative, but we're not going to be talking about political parties in this episode. It's also important to note, that there are going to be a lot of generalizations here, as most peoples' ideologies fall on a spectrum, but we're going to try our best *crosses fingers* to summarize the most commonly held viewpoints for each of these positions as they are used pretty frequently in discussions of American politics.

A Labour MP from 1987 to 2003, he was an outspoken critic of the policies of Tony Blair and New Labour, in particular the decision to invade Iraq. Left-wing politics
Left-wing politics are political positions or activities that accept or support social equality, often in opposition to social hierarchy and social inequality. They typically involve concern for those in society whom they perceive as disadvantaged relative to others and a belief that there are unjustified inequalities that need to be reduced or abolished.
The political terms Left and Right were coined during the French Revolution (1789–1799), referring to the seating arrangement in the Estates General: those who sat on the left generally opposed the monarchy and supported the revolution, including the creation of a republic and secularization, while those on the right were supportive of the traditional institutions of the Old Regime. Use of the term "Left" became more prominent after the restoration of the French monarchy in 1815 when it was applied to the "Independents". The word "wing" was appended to Left and Right in the late 19th century, usually with disparaging intent, and "left-wing" was applied to those who were unorthodox in their religious or political views.

Now, it's important to remember that political ideologies don't always perfectly correspond with political parties, and this correspondence becomes less and less likely over time. So today Craig is going to look at political ideology in America. We're going to focus on liberals and conservatives and talk about the influencers of both of these viewpoints. Now, it's important to remember that political ideologies don't always perfectly correspond with political parties, and this correspondence becomes less and less likely over time. So, sure we can say that Democrats tend to be liberal and Republicans tend to be conservative, but we're not going to be talking about political parties in this episode. It's also important to note, that there are going to be a lot of generalizations here, as most peoples' ideologies fall on a spectrum, but we're going to try our best *crosses fingers* to summarize the most commonly held viewpoints for each of these positions as they are used pretty frequently in discussions of American politics.

Can mobile towers light up lives, connect families, open doors to the world, provide livelihoods, and make lives easier? Yes, they can! This is the story of Kiraba, a small village in Jharkhand, India. As part of the Digital India project, VNL along with India's largest mobile operator BSNL executed this project of deploying 1,315 mobile towers to connect 22,700 villages in LWE affected states. The project is already showing a positive impact on the LWE areas.

No wonder Mixmag and DJ Mag ear marked them as ones to watch in 2013 where the guys were also nominated for the “Best Breakthrough DJ” at the Best Of British DJ Mag awards
2014 has seen L&K; expand and experiment with their music and has included remixing and working with House music pioneers such as Robert Owens, Todd Terry, Romanthony & Roger Sanchez. With their style touching all the basses between House & Techno I’ts no surprise support has come from the likes of Carl Cox, James Zabiela , MK Coyu, Loco Dice, Booka Shade, Yousef, Steve Lawler, Adam Beyer, Jimmy Edgar and Huxley which shows how broad their production palette is.
Following on from such high profile props the pair have much more in the pipeline including expanding their label Lost Records which will see the duo release their debut and highly anticipated collaboration towards the end of 2014.
