Emotion (journal)

Emotion is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, which, as its title states, publishes articles relating to the study of emotion. It is one of several psychology journals published by the American Psychological Association. It was established by founding co-editors-in-chief Richard Davidson and Klaus Scherer in 2001. The current editor-in-chief is David DeSteno (Northeastern University). Initially published quarterly, the publication frequency has been bimonthly since 2008.

For indexing purposes, Emotion is also referred to as Emotion (Washington D.C.). Bandai Visual

Bandai Visual Co., Ltd. (バンダイビジュアル株式会社, Bandai Bijuaru Kabushiki Gaisha), is a Japanese anime, film production and distribution enterprise, established by Bandai Company, Limited and a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings, Inc., which is based in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Since the reorganisation of Bandai Namco Holdings in 2006, Bandai Visual now heads the group's Visual and Music Content Strategic Business Unit. Its subsidiaries include the Emotion Music Company, Limited, (whose logos also include the Moai from Easter Island), and Lantis Company, Limited music publishing labels.

Until 2012, it was involved in the production and distribution of several anime titles, including those it has directly produced itself and anime series produced by the anime studio Sunrise, a subsidiary of Bandai.

History

Bandai Visual is currently a fully owned subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings. Bandai Namco announced on November 8, 2007 that it would buy the voting shares it did not own between that date and December 10, 2007 and turn the company into a wholly owned subsidiary. On December 18, 2007, Bandai Namco announced that it owned 93.63% of Bandai Visual's shares since the end of November. The remaining shares were delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange on February 15, 2008 after Bandai Namco acquired the remaining 10% of the shares.

Emotion (Martina McBride album)

Emotion is the sixth studio album from Martina McBride released in 1999. The song "I Love You" became McBride's biggest hit single to date after it reached #1 on the country charts and peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album ends with two covers, "Goodbye" by Patty Griffin and Gretchen Peters' "This Uncivil War" from Peters' 1996 debut album The Secret of Life. In the U.S. the album was certified Gold on 10/20/1999 and Platinum on 9/15/2000 by the R.I.A.A.

Wallace (New Zealand electorate)

Wallace was a New Zealand parliamentary electorate. It was established in 1858, the first election held in 1859, and existed until 1996. For a time, it was represented by two members. In total, there were 18 Members of Parliament from the Wallace electorate.

Population centres

The initial 24 New Zealand electorates were defined by Governor George Grey in March 1853, based on the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852 that had been passed by the British government. The Constitution Act also allowed the House of Representatives to establish new electorates, and this was first done in 1858, when four new electorates were formed by splitting existing electorates. Wallace was one of those four electorates, and it was established by splitting the Dunedin Country electorate. Settlements in the initial area were Invercargill, Gore, Mataura, and Riverton.

This electorate is in the rural part of Southland.

History

The first election was held on 30 November 1859 during the term of the 2nd New Zealand Parliament, and was won by Dillon Bell.

List of Digimon Adventure characters

Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 are the first two seasons of the Digimon anime series. Digimon Adventure originally aired from March 7, 1999 – March 26, 2000 whilst Digimon Adventure 02 originally aired from April 2, 2000 – March 25, 2001 as a direct sequel to the preceding series. Both series feature a variety of different characters but mostly centre upon The DigiDestined, a group of children and their partner Digimon who have been chosen to protect the Digital World from various forces of evil. A sequel 6-part movie series titled Digimon Adventure tri. is scheduled to start airing in November 2015.

DigiDestined

The DigiDestined are a group of children and their partner Digimon who have been chosen to protect the Digital World from various forces of evil. Each child is given a device known as a "Digivice" which serves many purposes but is mostly used to allow their Digimon partners to digivolve into stronger forms. Prior to the events of Digimon Adventure, having lost their memories of that event, the eight members of the first DigiDestined group witnessed the battle between a Greymon and Parrotmon at their childhood town of Highton View Terrace prior to moving to Odaiba. They were also witnessed by a group of figures who created the DigiDestined Digimon as part of a project to control the balance between good and evil in the Digital World, each Digimon linked to a digivice and Crest which are connected to the strongest trait of their respective child. However, when the facility came under attack, Gennai managed to get only seven of the DigiEggs to File Island while the eighth DigiEgg, which eventually became Gatomon, as left behind on the Server continent along with the seven of the Crest stones.

Frank was the girl group from Channel 4's comedy drama series Totally Frank. Frank consisted of lead singer Lauren Blake (born 1984), guitarist Bryony Afferson (born 1983), keyboard player Helena Dowling (born 1983) and drummer Hayley Angel Wardle (born 1983). In the show Totally Frank, the girls played fictional characters Tasha (Lauren), Charlie (Bryony), Flo (Helena) and Neve (Hayley). The band used their real names outside of the show.

Their debut single "I'm Not Shy" was released on 31 July 2006 and reached #40 in the UK Singles Chart. Their debut album Devil's Got Your Gold was released on 7 August 2006. The album featured tracks from the television show including "Money In My Pocket", "Never Left A Girl", "Silence", "Don't Wait Up", "All I Ever Do", the second series theme tune; "Turn It Up", and the first series theme tune "Complicated". New tracks included "If The Devil's Got Your Gold", "Wake Up" and "Palm Of Your Hand".
