Play-N-Skillz are an American record production duo from Irving, Texas, consisting of brothers Juan "Play" Salinas and Oscar "Skillz" Salinas, who are also rappers. Their production has won several Grammys including the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2007 for their production on the single "Ridin'" by Chamillionaire and Krayzie Bone, and the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III (2008), which included their production on the single "Got Money".
Raised in the Dallas suburb of Irving, Texas, the Latino American brothers started producing music in their mother's apartment. They met Houston rapper Lil Flip, leading to work on his album U Gotta Feel Me (2004) and a deal with Universal Records. They released their album The Process (#85 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums) in 2004. The team has also produced for artists such as Lil Wayne, Afrojack, David Guetta, Pitbull, Akon, Flo Rida, Lil Jon, Wynter Gordon, and Ludacris.
Shaquan Ian Lewis, also known as Skillz (formerly Mad Skillz), is an American rapper known for his acclaimed 1996 album From Where???, a reference to his origins in Virginia, not the stereotypical New York City or Los Angeles rapper, and he's also known for his yearly "Rap Ups," which he has done annually since 2002 (except in 2013).
Skillz was born in Detroit, Michigan, and after spending his early childhood in Fayetteville, North Carolina he then moved to Richmond, Virginia at a young age. He credits Run DMC for getting him involved in hip hop as a child. He fell in love with the culture and immediately began to practice all four elements religiously. He first made a name for himself by finishing in second place (Losing to MC Supernatural) in a national freestyle competition, which eventually resulted in a recording contract with Atlantic Records. At this time he went by the stage name Mad Skillz rather than just Skillz. Mad Skillz' Atlantic debut album, From Where???, and its single, "The Nod Factor", were released in 1996, but neither received much commercial or critical attention. The album's title was a reference to the regionalism in hip-hop, and at the time the state of Virginia did not have a large hip-hop scene. In the late-1990s more of a Virginia scene emerged, and he allied himself with fellow Virginia natives Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and The Neptunes. He made appearances on Timbaland's albums Tim's Bio in 1998, and Indecent Proposal in 2001; Timbaland made plans to sign Skillz to the Blackhand label he was developing; however, this label failed to materialize. He along with Danja Mowf, Lonnie B, and Kalonji The Immortal, members of Skillz' Supafriendz collective, also appeared on a remix of Aaliyah's hit single "Are You That Somebody" in 1998.
Jonathan Smith (born January 17, 1971), better known by his stage name Lil Jon, is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, DJ and actor. He was the frontman of the group Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, which he formed in 1997, and they released several albums until 2004. He then went solo and released a new album in 2010 titled Crunk Rock. He was also featured on Celebrity Apprentice during its 11th and 13th seasons.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Smith graduated from Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta. After working as a DJ for Atlanta night clubs, he started working for So So Def Recordings between 1993 and 2000.
Smith took the stage name Lil Jon and formed musical group Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz with rappers Big Sam (born Sammie Dernard Norris) and Lil' Bo (born Wendell Maurice Neal). The group signed to the Atlanta-based Mirror Image Records and were distributed by Ichiban Records. In 1997, Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz debuted with Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album. It included singles "Who U Wit?" and "Shawty Freak a Lil' Sumthin'", the latter of which came out in 1998. Both singles charted on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 70 and No. 62 respectively. In 2000, Jon took part in starting up his own label BME Recordings and signed a distribution agreement with Norcross, Georgia-based Southern Music Distribution. There he released his breakthrough album titled We Still Crunk!. Among the tracks on that project was the hit single "I Like Those Girls", which reached No. 55 on the R&B chart and No. 3 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart.
Bernard Freeman (born March 19, 1973), professionally known by his stage name Bun B, is an American rapper and was one half of the southern rap duo UGK (UnderGround Kingz). He is also a guest lecturer at Rice University, located in Houston, Texas. He released his third official solo album, Trill OG, on August 3, 2010, which received a 5 Mic "Classic" rating in The Source magazine - the first album in over five years to receive the honor.
In the late 1980s, Pimp C started the rap duo UGK. He first released a demo tape titled "Underground King" which didn't feature Bun B on the track. Instead, it featured Pimp C's friend Mitchell Queen. Bun B and friend Jalon Jackson had their own group called P.A. Militia. Both groups joined forces and formed the group 4 Black Ministers. Queen and Jackson later left the group leaving Pimp C and Bun B so they decided to revert to UGK. The demo Pimp C recorded with Mitchell Queen, Underground King, caught the attention of an independent label in Houston called Bigtyme Records. They then released an extended play titled The Southern Way. The release of this record caught the attention of Jive Records. While recording their debut album, Too Hard to Swallow, many of the songs had content too explicit for the album, so Bigtyme Records released an extended play titled Banned before the album was released, including all the songs that were too explicit for Too Hard to Swallow. The song "Pocket Full of Stones" became the first UGK song to get major airplay throughout the United States. Their second album, Super Tight..., followed in 1994. Their third album, Ridin' Dirty, peaked at number 2 on the R&B Charts in 1996, and at number 15 on the Billboard 200. After releasing their fourth studio album, Dirty Money, Pimp C got sentenced to jail.

Freak you lying up, 'cause I can't wait to freak you later
[Play]
I wanna, look let you know never that
To the bedroom give me head room, straight to the point
My time to clown, let you know from the gate I don't go downtown
To many freaks that'll please me
I'm that playa you better believe
I'm payin' no cheese, but I guarantee
That I still got a freak everyday of the week
I love the feeling when you dealing with someone
Poppin' and moving your body all night long
My jewels get bigger when you giving me dome
And I get a little crazy when its time to bone
My life made you think I was one of a kind
And my ice made you think that love was blind
Seperate the great, from the weak freaks
I would never hate, I love all my freaks
But I never love a hoe, never let a hoe know that
That I gotta lot of dough, she ain't gotta know
Take it to the room, I don't need your voice
But I might need your mouth to provide the moist
Didn't think you had the brains 'til I met ya knees
And swallow my seeds and now I see
Why chose one freak when?
[Hook]
[Krayzie Bone]
I done been around the whole wide world
I done been so many places, seen many different faces
Met girls, girls, nasty girls
Real bad girls, chasin' this platinum world
And around, behind me and my
They sayin' wanna get me high
They wanna spend some time
With a thug and get freaky with it
In a hot tub thuggin' gettin' with it
We can freak a deal
Turn off the lights
Come over here, with me
Take off all your clothes, and freak me baby
[Hook]
[Skillz]
Uh..Uh
You gets none from me ma
You gets nada, no Gucchi, no Prada
Holla at a chick then I mack her down
Hit, then I pass sex hand me down
Said I been around the world
Ay yah, been hated on for the things I got
But I don't cuff 'em man, I just rub 'em man
Talk real fine, then I fuck 'em man
And I love them girls that love to bone, bone, bone
Call me up when she all alone, she'll do with the dome
She'll ride for days, take my bricks
Take my yay'
You don't play
I'm the playa to call
All you get is a little Cristal
Puff the 'dro, you know my style
Coke by the freight with a Kodak smile
Straight with the beats, I'm straight with the cheese
I'm straight to the point, I'm straight to the sheets
Why chose one freak, when the?
[Hook]
[Adina Howard]
