Born in Genoa, the son of conductor and composer Giordano Bruno Martelli, Martelli is probably best known for the song Djamballà, theme song of the 1970 film Il dio serpente, which reached the first position in the Italian hit parade. He is also well known for having had a sentimental engagement with the singer Mina, with whom he also collaborated as a composer and an arranger and with whom he co-fonded the recording company PDU. After having been conductor in a number of RAI variety shows, starting from late seventies Martelli was also host of a number of TV programs, mainly for Canale 5. He also composed songs and scores for a large number of Fininvest TV programs.
Sammy Barbot (born in 1949), stage name of Jacques Edouard Barbot, is a Caribbean entertainer, singer and television presenter, mainly active in Italy.
Born in Martinique, at young age Barbot moved to Paris with his family. In the early 1970s he started singing in restaurants and clubs, and he eventually took part to the French version of the stage musical Hair.
Noted by two RAI Italian television writers, in 1977 he moved to Italy to host the musical show Piccolo Slam, of which he also sung the two theme songs. In 1979 he hosted Popcorn, a successful Canale 5 show he had also ideated.
In 1981 Barbot got his major hit, "Aria di casa mia", the opening theme song of his TV show Happy Circus, which peaked at the fifth place on the Italian hit parade.
In the following years he continued his musical and television activities, slowing his activities in the second half of the 1980s.

In 1984 he joined John Cooper's staff at Tulsa as strength and conditioning coach and moved with him to Arizona State a year later.
In 1987 he joined Buddy Ryan's coaching staff with the Philadelphia Eagles. After two stints with the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Raiders in 1991 and 1992, respectively, Jones rejoined Ryan as linebackers coach for the Houston Oilers in 1993. As Ryan became head coach for the Arizona Cardinals, he selected Jones as his defensive coordinator. In 1995, Arizona ranked last in total defense in the NFL, giving up 26.4 points and 356.5 total yards per game. Ryan and his complete staff were fired subsequently.

You stole my five minutes of fame
You told me time would heal the pain
This world would bring me something new
And like a child I trusted you
One day, oh one day you lied
What you say I see in lights (Your eyes watching you)
One day, oh one day you lied
What you say I see in lights (Your eyes watching you)
Just when I saw you as a friend
I caught you laughing once again
But evenso you live and learn
So I stole seven in return
One day, oh one day you lied
What you say I see in lights (Your eyes watching you)
One day, oh one day you lied
What you say I see in lights (Your eyes watching you)
