Luton (i/ˈluːtən/ LOOT-ən,local /ˈluːʔən/) is a large town, borough and unitary authority area of Bedfordshire, England. Luton and its near neighbours, Dunstable and Houghton Regis, form the Luton/Dunstable Urban Area with a population of about 258,000. It is located 20 miles (30 km) east of Aylesbury, 14 miles (20 km) west of Stevenage, 30 miles (50 km) north-northwest of London, and 22 miles (40 km) southeast of Milton Keynes.
Luton is home to League Two team Luton Town Football Club, whose history includes several spells in the top flight of the English league as well as a Football League Cup triumph in 1988. They play at Kenilworth Road stadium, which has been their home since 1905.
London Luton Airport, opened in 1938, is one of England's major airports. During the Second World War it doubled as an RAF base.
The University of Bedfordshire is based in the town.
The Luton Carnival, which has traditionally been held on the Whitsun May bank holiday, is the largest one-day carnival in Europe. It has for the past two years been held on the Sunday instead. In 2012, it was moved to July to coincide with the Olympic Torch Relay and celebrations.
Bury Park in Luton is an area notorious for Islamic extremists, ISIS fanatics, hate preachers and terrorists. It is perhaps the worst hotspot in the whole country for Islamists. In response to the recent imprisonment of an ISIS supporter (who is from Bury Park) Britain First carried out a "Christian Patrol" along the High Street and encountered ferocious hostility from local Muslims. What followed was a shocking look into the Islamisation of our beloved country. Our activists were attacked and pelted with eggs. Verbal abuse was rife. Muslims claimed they have "taken over" Luton and the UK. This is the future of Britain.
Recently, one one of our many trips to Luton magistrates, a local honest Muslim approached party leader Paul Golding and declared that Britain will be under Sharia Law in the future and will be an Islamic State. He was very polite and respectful, did not show hostility, but declared in no uncertain terms the way most Muslims feel about our country. This video is a real eye opener.
Stacey Dooley investigates what is going on in her hometown of Luton and finds out why it is known as the extremist capital of Britain. Stacey has spent her whole life in Luton. Media commentators all have their theories about what is happening there, but Stacey is uniquely placed to tell the story through the generation she grew up with - the people who are now shaping one of the most controversial towns in Britain. Stacey meets friends - some wearing veils and others who are fully fledged EDL supporters. She goes to the heart of the Muslim community, dominated by one of the country's most extreme Muslim groups, meeting both self-proclaimed radicals and those trying to counter them. Is it all hype? Or is 'L-town' such a pick-and-mix of culture that extremists are attracted here like no...

We were told if we promoted Israel in Luton we'd be attacked... so last summer we did exactly that and nothing happened. Then they told us we'd escaped violence because we were in the town centre, but had we visited the majority Muslim area of Bury Park, we'd of got our heads kicked in. So on Sunday we thought we'd put that theory to the test and three of us set up an Israeli advocacy stall in the heart of Bury Park. Watch the video to see what happened...

Me estoy portando mal
Y gritaré tu nombre, mujer, tu nombre
Mi amor no sabes que a mi edad
También se puede amar
Me estoy portando mal
No debo obrar así
Yo se que no es feliz
Pero tiene su hogar
Porque la conocí y la llegué a querer
Si hoy puedo enloquecer si no la veo más
Y gritaré tu nombre, mujer, tu nombre
Mi amor no sabes que a mi edad
