Quetzalcóatl, que en náhuatl clásico significa serpiente emplumada, es, según el enfoque investigativo que se comprenda, uno de los dos dioses principales del panteón azteca, si no el principal. Los primeros registros de adoración a este dios datan del primer siglo antes de Cristo y se extendió a lo largo de América Central hasta el 900 DC. Fue vinculado con los dioses del viento, de Venus, de la aurora, de comerciantes y artesanos, así como con las ciencias del aprendizaje y el conocimiento; por ello era también el dios patrono de los sacerdotes. Aparece generalmente representado por una serpiente con plumas, lo que plasma un concepto ampliamente arraigado en toda la región: la dualidad de un dios supremo con cualidades terrenas, invocadas en su cuerpo reptil, y cualidades espirituales, aludidas a través de las plumas. En la mitología azteca, se trataba de una deidad transgresora entre el cielo y la tierra, creadora de la humanidad, y cuyo nombre designaba también al máximo título sacerdotal. En una de las historias acerca de Quetzalcóatl, se afirma que éste fue seducido por Tezcatlipoca (su antítesis celestial) para emborracharse y dormir con una sacerdotisa célibe (al parecer se trató de su propia hermana); preso del remordimiento por esta acción, se incineró y su corazón se convirtió en la estrella de la mañana. También aparece en representaciones antropomórficas como un hombre blanco y con barba, lo que seguramente originó que los nativos confundieran a Hernán Cortés con Quetzalcóatl.

In this podcast, we travel back two thousand years when a mysterious comet streaked across Planet Earth. Seen and recorded by chroniclers in Vietnam, India, and elsewhere, it eventually performed unusual maneuvers before landing in Mexico. Where is landed the greatest pre-Colombian civilization sprang up. Some of the largest pyramids in the world were built. Moreover, their leader was the one who traveled in this "comet", and his name was Quetzalcoatl. While in many ways he helped and taught his people many things, he was also a very murderous and bloodthirsty extraterrestrial. He established a blood covenant, which demanded the ritual blood sacrifice of thousands of human beings. Even more bizarre is that these people were not the Aztecs as is commonly thought. They preceded the Aztecs, and when the Aztecs eventually arrived, they found this city deserted. No one knows what happened to Quetzalcoatl's people. Nevertheless, there was something frightening about this city, and even the fearsome Aztecs did not want to go near it!
Without skipping a beat, we then travel to the time of Moses, when Yahweh (and I bet you did not know this) personally made an appearance along with Moses and his brother and helper, Aaron. You will hear how at first Yahweh seemed very kind and generous to his people. He too made a covenant with them. However, very soon, as soon as the day of his first public appearance, he turned into a murderer. His people soon learned, as did Quetzalcoatl's, that if a person broke any aspect of the Covenant, he would die. A careful examination of Yahweh's vehicles and weapons prove him indisputably to be an alien, and a very evil alien at that.

Quetzalcoatl
Quetzalcoatl /ˌkɛtsɑːlˈkoʊɑːtəl/; (Spanish pronunciation: [ketsalˈkoatɬ]) (Classical Nahuatl: Quetzalcohuātl [ket͡saɬˈkowaːt͡ɬ]) is a Mesoamerican deity whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "feathered serpent". The worship of a feathered serpent is first known documented in Teotihuacan in the first century BC or first century AD. That period lies within the Late Preclassic to Early Classic period (400 BC – 600 AD) of Mesoamerican chronology, and veneration of the figure appears to have spread throughout Mesoamerica by the Late Classic (600–900 AD).
In the Postclassic period (900–1519 AD), the worship of the feathered serpent deity was based in the primary Mexican religious center of Cholula. It is in this period that the deity is known to have been named "Quetzalcoatl" by his Nahua followers. In the Maya area he was approximately equivalent to Kukulcan and Gukumatz, names that also roughly translate as "feathered serpent" in different Mayan languages.
Quetzalcoatl, the Mexican god of wind and learning, wears around his neck the "wind breastplate" ehecailacocozcatl, "the spirally voluted wind jewel" made of a conch shell. This talisman was a conch shell cut at the cross-section and was likely worn as a necklace by religious rulers as they have been discovered in burials in archaeological sites throughout Mesoamerica and potentially symbolized patterns witnessed in hurricanes, dust devils, seashells, and whirlpools which were elemental forces that had meaning in the Aztec mythology. In codex drawings showing Quetzalcoatl and Xolotl. They are both pictured wearing an ehecailacozcatl around each of their necks. There has also been at least one major cache of offerings with knives and idols adorned with the symbols of more than one god, some of which were adorned with wind jewels.

In this podcast, we travel back two thousand years when a mysterious comet streaked across Planet Earth. Seen and recorded by chroniclers in Vietnam, India, and elsewhere, it eventually performed unusual maneuvers before landing in Mexico. Where is landed the greatest pre-Colombian civilization sprang up. Some of the largest pyramids in the world were built. Moreover, their leader was the one who traveled in this "comet", and his name was Quetzalcoatl. While in many ways he helped and taught his people many things, he was also a very murderous and bloodthirsty extraterrestrial. He established a blood covenant, which demanded the ritual blood sacrifice of thousands of human beings. Even more bizarre is that these people were not the Aztecs as is commonly thought. They preceded the Aztecs, and when the Aztecs eventually arrived, they found this city deserted. No one knows what happened to Quetzalcoatl's people. Nevertheless, there was something frightening about this city, and even the fearsome Aztecs did not want to go near it!
