Sabotage is the sixth studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released in July 1975. It was recorded in the midst of litigation with their former manager Patrick Meehan and the stress that resulted from the band's ongoing legal woes infiltrated the recording process, inspiring the album's title. It was co-produced by guitarist Tony Iommi and Mike Butcher.
Black Sabbath began work on their sixth album in February 1975, again in England at Morgan Studios in Willesden, London. The title Sabotage was chosen because the band were at the time being sued by their former management and felt they were being "sabotaged all the way along the line and getting punched from all sides", according to Iommi. Iommi credits those legal troubles for the album's angry, heavier sound. In 2001, bassist Geezer Butler explained to Dan Epstein, "Around the time of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, we found out that we were being ripped off by our management and our record company. So, much of the time, when we weren't onstage or in the studio, we were in lawyer's offices trying to get out of all our contracts. We were literally in the studio, trying to record, and we'd be signing all these affidavits and everything. That's why it's called Sabotage – because we felt that the whole process was just being totally sabotaged by all these people ripping us off." In his autobiography I Am Ozzy, singer Ozzy Osbourne confirms that "writs were being delivered to us at the mixing desk" and that drummer Bill Ward "was manning the phones." In the liner notes to the 1998 live album Reunion, Butler claimed the band suffered through 10 months of legal cases and admitted, "music became irrelevant to me. It was a relief just to write a song."

Talkin is a village in Cumbria, England situated close to Talkin Tarn. Area soil is dry and gravelly.
The name is of Brittonic origin. The Brittonic dialect known as Cumbric was formerly spoken in the area. According to A. M. Armstrong, et al., the first element, tal, means "brow" or "end" in Brittonic and modern Welsh, Cornish, and Breton. The second element is unclear. It may come from the Brittonic word which appears in Welsh and Old Cornish as can ("white") and Breton as kann ("bland, brilliant"). Talkin may be a hill-name meaning "white brow".

James Cotton (born July 1, 1935) is an American blues harmonica player, singer and songwriter, who has performed and recorded with many of the great blues artists of his time as well as with his own band. Although he played drums early in his career, Cotton is famous for his work on the harmonica. Cotton began his professional career playing the blues harp in Howlin' Wolf's band in the early 1950s. He made his first recordings in Memphis for Sun Records under the direction of Sam Phillips. In 1955, he was recruited by Muddy Waters to come to Chicago and join Waters' band. Cotton became Muddy's band leader and stayed with Waters' group until 1965. In 1965 he formed the Jimmy Cotton Blues Quartet, with Otis Spann on piano to record between gigs with Muddy Waters' band and eventually left Waters to form his own full-time touring group. His first full album, on the Verve label, was produced by guitarist Mike Bloomfield and vocalist/songwriter Nick Gravenites, both of whom were later members of the band Electric Flag. In the 1970s, Cotton played harmonica on Muddy Waters' Grammy Award winning 1977 album Hard Again, produced by Johnny Winter.

This is the full video coverage of Bob Dylan's appearance on Late Night with David Letterman, March 22, 1984. It includes upgraded rehearsal footage from that afternoon, with performances of "I Once Knew a Man," "Jokerman," "License to Kill," "Treat Her Right," and the chords to what sounds like "My Guy." For the broadcast are "Don't Start Me Talkin'," "License to Kill," and after a remote at the NBC Store and a segment with Liberace cooking a casserole (neither included here), "Jokerman." There's an edit towards the end of the rehearsal footage that combines the upgraded video with the earlier poor-quality clip that wasn't included in the upgraded version. Thanks to AP for the newer footage.

Goin' down to Rosie's
Stop at Fanny May's
Gonna tell Fanny what I heard her boyfriend say
Now don't you start me talkin'
I'll tell ev'rything I know
I'm gonna break up this signifyin'
'Cause somebody gotta go
Jack gave his wife two dollar
Go down to the market
Get out on the street, ol' George stopped her
He knocked her down
And blacked her eye
She get back home and tell her husband a lie
Now don't you start me talkin'
I'll tell ev'rything I know
I'm gonna break up this signifyin'
'Cause somebody gotta go
She borrowed some money
To go to the beauty shop
"I'm goin' to a place where I can get my hair sot"
Now don't you start me talkin'
I'll tell ev'rything I know
I'm gonna break up this signifyin'
