Trey Bruce

Trey Bruce is an American country music songwriter. Bruce has co-written three songs that became number one singles on the Billboard country charts: "Look Heart, No Hands", "Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man" and "Whisper My Name" by Randy Travis, and "How Your Love Makes Me Feel" by Diamond Rio. He has also co-written several Top 5 country singles for other artists, including Faith Hill, Doug Stone, Trisha Yearwood and Trace Adkins. Bruce received a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Original Song in 2001 along with co-writers John Bettis and Brian D. Siewart.

Biography

Bruce's musical career began at an early age, when he played drums at various clubs around Memphis, Tennessee. In 1989, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and signed with MCA Music Publishing as a songwriter. His first hit as a songwriter came in 1990, when Shelby Lynne reached the U.S. Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts with "Things Are Tough All Over"; in 1993, Randy Travis reached Number One on the same chart with Bruce's "Look Heart, No Hands". (Travis also recorded two more songs written by Bruce: 1994's "Whisper My Name" and 1998's "Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man".)

Kree Annette Harrison (born May 17, 1990) is an American singer and musician, who was the runner-up on the twelfth season of American Idol.

Early life

Kree Annette Harrison was born on May 17, 1990 at St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. The family moved to Woodville, Texas in a home that was given to them by their grandmother. At three, Harrison asked her pastor if she could sing during church. The request was accepted and after she sang, her pastor commented, "I was expecting Jesus Loves Me, but she belted out El Shaddai by Amy Grant. I knew then this child had a special gift." Over the next several years, Harrison sang for churches, rodeos, weddings and competitions. At eight, she was the opening act for R&B performer Percy Sledge. At nine, she won "Artist of the Year" from Kirbyville Playhouse, and at ten, she sang on The Rosie O'Donnell Show and was invited back on three other occasions. She sang in country playhouses all over the area, as a special guest at a Warren Talent Show, and she was second place winner in the New York Apollo competition held in Houston. On October 11, 2001, Harrison's father died after the plane he was on crashed off the coast of Spain. After sixth grade, her family moved to Nashville to pursue her singing career. She attended seventh grade there, and was home schooled afterwards in order to devote more time to her music. On September 22, 2009, Harrison's mother was killed in a head on traffic collision.

Duff McKagan

Michael Andrew "Duff" McKagan (born February 5, 1964) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and author. He is best known for his twelve-year tenure as the bassist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. During his later years with the band, he released a solo album, Believe in Me (1993), and formed the short-lived supergroup Neurotic Outsiders.

Following his departure from Guns N' Roses in 1997, McKagan briefly reunited with his pre-success Seattle punk band 10 Minute Warning. He then formed the still-active hard rock band Loaded, in which he performs lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Between 2002 and 2008, he played bass in the supergroup Velvet Revolver with his former Guns N' Roses band mates Slash and Matt Sorum. He joined Jane's Addiction for a brief tenure in 2010. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Guns N' Roses, which he rejoined in 2016.
