Plot: Det. Const. "Dangerous" Davies is not known for his finesse, but often finds himself on the receiving end of violence in various forms. Only thrown into cases where others fear to tread, or to shake up the natives with his bumbling, he is given a mission to find and flush out a local criminal recently returned from abroad, possibly for "a big job". Plot: Wilbur Gray visits Frank Richards so he can get his book published. This book Gray has written are about cats. Cats watching everyone and controlling everything. He mentions the stories in the book are all true, and gives three examples. The first involves the murder of a cat-loving old woman who gives her entire fortune in her will to her cats. Not everyone is happy about the wills, but would have to get past the cats to get the the will. The second story is a tale of black magic between two girls and the third story is a tale of murderous revenge... by a cat.

Plot: The stooges make a whole batch of homemade beer, but get tossed in jail when Curly sells some to a cop. Their minor indiscretion turns into a forty year sentence when a keg of beer Curly has hidden under his coat explodes while the boys are being photographed. In prison the stooges get into more trouble with the warden and wind on the rockpile when they try to escape. Released as old men with long gray beards, the first thing Curly wants is a bottle of beer.

Plot: Lingerie tycoon F. Farrington Fowler is in a spot as he has ran out of gas-ration coupons. He enlists his butler, Pomeroy, to drum up riders so that he can get extra coupons from the ration board. Pomeroy gets a bunch of showgirls and parks them in Fowler's mansion, this being easy since Mrs. Fowler is away visiting her mother. Leon adds to the number by bringing home a young promoter. The showgirls, headed by Pat, run riot on the premises and Fowler passes them off as new domestics when Mrs. Fowler returns. A highly moral business rival, DaFoe, and his wife come on a visit and park themselves overnight, only to raise their collective eyebrows at the various events occurring on different floors of the mansion. Fowler worms himself out of one predicament after another and almost spoils the romance of his secretary with the promoter.
