The Asia's Titanic: MV Dona Paz, Bloodiest Maritime Disaster - Amazing Documentary TV The MV Doña Paz was a Philippine-registered guest ferryboat that sank after hitting the oil tanker MT Vector on December 20, 1987. With an approximated death toll of 4,386 people and also just 24 survivors, it was the most dangerous peacetime maritime catastrophe in record. Doña Paz was taking a trip from Leyte island to the Philippine capital of Manila. The world’s oceans are busy maritime highways. Today, 85 per cent of all international trade in raw material and manufactured goods travels by sea, and tankers carry more than half of the world’s oil. The stakes of maritime security are high, and NATO is determined to help protect its Allies from any possible threats at sea. Through deterrence, collective defence, crisis management and cooperative security, NATO maritime forces work with nations, partners and institutions to improve maritime security and be ready to face any threat.

We always flood the hallways with our arbitrary news.
I know that you're defenseless, the phone just rings with bad news now and then.
Until the train leaves, the door is open against the fence.
It's a rainy night in Memphis, if you're safe you're fast asleep,
Those are the hours that you keep.
Hips together, we'll move our feet like don't care.
Paper blown together for a second, the length of lover affairs.
I know that we're defenseless, the phone just rings with bad news now and then.
Until the train leaves, the door is open. Were on the fence.
It's a rainy night in Memphis, if you're safe you're fast asleep,
