AFDA Future Gen

 
AFDA Future Gen is a group of enthusiastic, forward-thinking AFDA Members and their staff wanting to challenge themselves and others to engage in quality discussion and share ideas that drive improvement and service across all areas of the funeral industry.
 
Another important responsibility of the AFDA Future Gen group is to explore opportunties to improve consumer and staff education on the vast array of new funeral technologies available.
 
"While tradiition will always be the cornerstone of funeral service, it's vital that we embrace all that the technological, social networking and digital revolution has to offer," Adrian Barrett, William Barrett & Sons, AFDA Future Gen member.
 
Communication with the group will take place via the following channels:
  • 2 webinars each year
  • An online group / forum - AFDA Future Gen Facebook group
  • A networking event at AFDA National Convention exclusively for Future Gen members
  • A session at AFDA National Convention on a Future Gen topic or presented by a Future Gen member

The plan for the AFDA Future Gen group is to build on this and add new items / events.
