Khagrasori is one of the beautiful districts in Bangladesh. It’s location in south-west of Bangladesh. Khagrasori is the queen of mountains. It is fulfill by beautiful natural. Khagrachari is the district headquarters of Khagachari Hill District. A drive of 112 km. from Chittagong town by road through the green forest brings you to Khagrachari. Khagrachari is an ideal spot for a tourist to enjoy the calm and beauty of nature. Main Attraction : Khagrachhari is the natural wild beauty of Bangladesh. Here you can visit rising water fall and the tribal lifestyle of Chakmas, Matai Pukhiri Lake, Rajbari of Mogh chief at Manikchhari . You can also visit Alutila hill. Approximately 100 meters long a very dark Cave is the mysterious beauty of Alutila hill. Rising Water Fall : There are many places for traveling. Risang fall is one of the best travel places in Khagrasori. You will see Risang fall in Khagrasori. It is really nice place for traveling. Risang fall location is 11 km distance from Khagrasori town. You can go Risang fall by bus or cars from Khagrasori town. Most of the visitors want to visit Risang fall in Khagrasori. When you reach kalang fall then you need to walk 2 km for reaching in Risang fall. When you hear the sound of water fall you can imagine why khagrasori is called the haven of Bangladesh. Tribal life : The inhabitants of the Hill Tracts are mostly tribal. Life of the tribal people is extremely fascinating. Majority of them are Buddhists and the rest are Hindus, Christians and Animists. Despite the bondage of religion, elements of primitiveness is strongly displayed in their rites, rituals and everyday life. The tribal families are matriarchal. The women-folk are more hardworking than the males and they are the main productive force. The tribal people are extremely self-reliant, they grow their own food, their girls weave their own clothes and they live a simple life. Each tribe has its own dialect, distinctive dress and rites and rituals. The common feature is their way of life which still speak of their main occupation. Some of them take pride in hunting with bows and arrows. Tribal women are very skilful in making beautiful handicrafts. Tribal people are generally peace loving, honest and hospitable. They usually greet a tourist with a smile Matai Pukhiri Lake : It is a lake at 1500 feet above the ground at Nunchhari. According to tripure tale, water of the lake never dried up or nor it turns dirty. This is why it is called Matai Pukhiri lake of the God. Alutila Cave : It is the most adventure for a tourist in Khagrasori. The cave is about 100 meter long and a tourist can go into the cave but without not a light.
