Sustainability

Environmental health and well-being is a top priority at Towson University. We are dedicated to building sustainability through energy conservation, waste reduction, education, research and civic engagement.

As a signatory of the President’s Climate Commitment, we have implemented a variety of initiatives to improve sustainability, including a green building policy, campus metering, single-stream recycling, composting and a robust alternative transportation program. We invite you to learn more and get involved.
