Towson University Community Art Center is committed to offering exceptional visual arts experiences for the Greater Baltimore community as well as contribute to the educational advancement of Towson University students. We enlist the expertise and experience of TU faculty and staff to deliver high quality community programing for all ages and skill levels.
Visions of Place is the first major exhibition of contemporary Israeli art in ten years. The opening reception is Feb. 4, 2016 from 7:30 -9 p.m. in TU's Center for the Arts. The exhibition features 52 works by 36 artist including many of the leading artist in Israel today.
It was a great day for the whole family at TU Center for the Arts! The event featured Cambodian jewelry making with artist Sochietah Ung, a dance performance by the students of Cambodian American Heritage, Inc. and animation workshops.
TU art students working under the direction of the Community Art Center created a community project where visitors can engage with Spirit House by New Orleans artist Willie Birch. Members of the public are encouraged to come join in the fun, and contribute to the installation at the DCCA from December 4 - January 16, 2016. Learn more...
