Oculus Rift
The Rift is a virtual reality head-mounted display developed by Oculus VR. It was initially proposed in a Kickstarter campaign, during which Oculus VR (at the time an independent company) raised US$2.5 million for the development of the product.
The Rift is scheduled for release on March 28, 2016, making it one of the first consumer-targeted virtual reality headsets. It has a resolution of 1080×1200 per eye, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a wide field of view. It has integrated headphones which provide a 3D audio effect. The Rift has rotational and positional tracking. The positional tracking is performed by a USB stationary IR sensor, which normally sits on the user's desk, allowing for using the Rift while sitting, standing, or walking around the same room.
The Rift has gone through various prototype versions in the years since the Kickstarter campaign, around 5 of which were demonstrated to the public. Two of these prototypes were made available for purchase as 'development kits', DK1 in late 2012 and DK2 in mid 2014, to give developers a chance to develop content in time for the Rift's release. However, both were also purchased by a large number of enthusiasts who wished to get an early preview of the technology.

Rift
In geology, a rift is a linear zone where the Earth's crust and lithosphere are being pulled apart and is an example of extensional tectonics.
Typical rift features are a central linear downfaulted depression, called a graben, or more commonly a half-graben with normal faulting and rift-flank uplifts mainly on one side. Where rifts remain above sea level they form a rift valley, which may be filled by water forming a rift lake. The axis of the rift area may contain volcanic rocks, and active volcanism is a part of many, but not all active rift systems.
Major rifts occur along the central axis of most mid-ocean ridges, where new oceanic crust and lithosphere is created along a divergent boundary between two tectonic plates.
Failed rifts are the result of continental rifting that failed to continue to the point of break-up. Typically the transition from rifting to spreading develops at a triple junction where three converging rifts meet over a hotspot. Two of these evolve to the point of seafloor spreading, while the third ultimately fails, becoming an aulacogen.

Dirt Rally es un juego de simulación de Rally, donde han vuelto a los orígenes, cambiando las sensaciones de realismo por un juego que ya era puramente arcade y no tenía la sistemática del mundial de rally. Cosa que ha encantado a todo el mundo y sobre todo a los poseedores de volantes de gama media alta., esperemos que no bajen el nivel y vayan incorporando pruebas del mundial porque ya hay muchos mod en el aspecto de decoraciones, y también muchos mod para el juego como nuevas cámaras de repetición, interiores de coches y demás así que podemos decir casi con seguridad que estamos ante el mejor juego de rally de todos los tiempos, superando creo yo al increíble RBR!

No llega al 10 porque trae pocos rallys, en el momento que incorporen cosillas tendrá el 10

Raw Data Dark Source Co-op w/RowdyGuy | Oculus Rift + Touch
I recently had the honor of playing along with our favorite friend in the home of waffles, RowdyGuy! I got a twitter message asking if I'd be willing to take on the zombie robots of Raw Data and I was happy to oblige! Finally I could finish the level with some back up! Although it took us a 2 attempts we finally overcome our fears and come out victorious. Be sure to check out the video for all the fun! Lastly, my apologies on the framerate, I had to record with software encoding and it turned out to be terrible. HTC Vive vs Oculus Rift CV1: Pros and Cons of each VR HMD
After playing tons of VR games on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift these are my thoughts on the pros and cons of each VR HMD The HTC Vive clearly has an advantage in the virtual reality race right now. It can do everything that the Rift does and it offers roomscale/motion tracking. It also has a camera, better background software with SteamVR, and a better game distribution system with Steam. The Oculus Rift on the other hand only supported seated and standing experiences at the moment, but it has superior comfort and ergonomics compared to the HTC Vive. It has motion controls coming in the future, which will make it a good alternative to the Vive if you're limited on space. I plan on using both virtual reality HMDs, but I will probably end up putting more time into the Oculus Rift just bec...

After playing tons of VR games on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift these are my thoughts on the pros and cons of each VR HMD
The HTC Vive clearly has an advantage in the virtual reality race right now. It can do everything that the Rift does and it offers roomscale/motion tracking. It also has a camera, better background software with SteamVR, and a better game distribution system with Steam.
The Oculus Rift on the other hand only supported seated and standing experiences at the moment, but it has superior comfort and ergonomics compared to the HTC Vive. It has motion controls coming in the future, which will make it a good alternative to the Vive if you're limited on space.
I plan on using both virtual reality HMDs, but I will probably end up putting more time into the Oculus Rift just because I prefer it for seated games, and right now the only VR games that offer a ton of depth, content, and progression are seated simulation games like Elite: Dangerous and Project CARS. However, I'll still be playing the HTC Vive on a daily basis because I love the physically active games like Space Pirate Trainer, Audioshield, and Holopoint.
