Tuition & Other Costs

Towson is among the top 100 values in public institutions and one of “America’s Top Colleges,” according to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and Forbes. One of our highest priorities is keeping your education affordable.

At Towson, we are committed to providing a solid return on your education investment. We want to be sure you and your family understand our tuition rates and other costs.

  • To view details about our rates for the current year, see Tuition, Fees & Other Costs.
  • To help manage your costs, use our Tiger Installment Plan, which helps to spread your payments throughout the semester so you have extra time to pay for school while avoiding any late fees.
  • If you are a prospective student, you might want to use the U.S. Department of Education's Net Price Calculator to estimate your net cost after aid.
  • To learn how aid funds are paid, see Aid Disbursements & Rebates.  If you meet all of our aid process deadlines, your pending financial aid will be listed on your TU bill as an offset against your term charges.

Cost of Attendance Budgets

The Financial Aid Office provides detailed Cost of Attendance Budgets for undergraduate and graduate students. We use these budgets to calculate your maximum financial aid awards and your eligibility for need-based aid.  We also encourage you to use these budgets to plan for your college expenses.
