Asian Arts & Culture Center
The Asian Arts & Culture Center at Towson University engages the university and surrounding communities in cross-cultural dialogue through a broad range of Asian artistic and cultural experiences. Using the arts and cultures of Asia as a lens, we promote critical awareness of and civic engagement in sustaining the world’s cultural heritage. We also offer opportunities for university students to learn practical skills needed for working in non-profit cultural institutions.
Community Art Center
The Community Art Center encourages individual expression while teaching new skills, ideas and techniques. Small class sizes give individual attention while encouraging students to work on different ability and developmental levels. Courses range from drawing, painting and sculpture to computer graphics and animation. The CAC offers classes for children, teens and adults.
Community Dance Center
Towson University Community Dance is an extension of the Department of Dance. Its mission reflects the department’s mission of advocating “Dancing for a Lifetime.” The comprehensive curriculum, renowned faculty and highly trained instructors offer excellence in dance education for children, adults and professionals.
