This superfight is long overdue and has probably passed it's expiration date but one can not argue that at one point in time this mega bout between boxing's biggest and best stars would have broken all records and purses for both fighters. One can only imagine what type of fight this would have produced regardless as both their styles couldn't have been more different as you have Floyd who is a defensive, counter punching maestro and Manny who is just a dynamic volume puncher who is dangerous from all angles. In the red corner: Manny Pacman Pacquiao (54-4-2 38KO) In the blue corner: Floyd Money Mayweather (43-0 26KO) As of now it seems most stumbling blocks preventing this fight from happening are now non existent as Manny has made public numerous times now that blood testing is not a problem and has even agreed to a smaller purse split ratio 55/45 with Floyd getting the greater piece. One can only imagine how much money will be involved in this fight and expect all records to be broken including PPV buys and fight purses. Before we can salivate the thought of this megabout, Manny will have to get through his longtime Mexican rival Juan Manuel Dinamita Marquez in December 8 2012 in which it will be their 4th and hopefully final dance. If Manny were to win convincingly and finally put his rival behind him, then it will give Manny great momentum leading into the Mayweather bout next year. We all know what Floyd is like, so don't be surprised if another demand is presented and or if he retires from the sport for good.
