Peter Michael may refer to:
Peter Michael (born 1972) is an English contemporary figurative painter. Michael's work is firmly set in the British painting tradition of Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville, but references his classical Italian fresco training with hints of artists such as Mantegna.
Michael studied at the University of East London where he obtained a degree in Fine Art. He also studied fresco painting at the Bottega Del Buonfresco in Florence, Italy.
His recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition in Luxembourg (2008). This exhibition made headlines in the Luxembourg press for its graphic and realistic representation of the female nude
Sir Peter Michael (born 1938) is a British engineer and businessman whose interests include radio and wine-making.
Peter Michael grew up in Croydon. His father was the chairman of the London philatelic shop Stanley Gibbons.
After training as an engineer at Queen Mary University of London, he worked at Smith Industries and Plessey, before leaving in 1968 to set up his first company.

His wife Margaret (Lady Michael) farms 1000 acres in Berkshire with arable cereals and a pedigree South Devon Red breeding herd.
Sir Michael has set up two charitable foundations dedicated to fighting prostate cancer, the Pelican Cancer Foundation (UK) and the Peter Michael Foundation (US).

Michael McGowan (born 19 May 1940) is a British journalist and a former Member of the European Parliament, with a special interest in international affairs, European politics, Africa, peace, development, and human rights. He is a Director of Leeds City Credit Union, and a Director of PAFRAS – Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers, and until June 2009 was a National Executive Committee member of the Co-operative Party.
Michael McGowan was born in the village of Birkenshaw in the West Riding of Yorkshire. His father, Edgar, was a baker at Bradford Co-op bakery and his mother, Marion, a waitress.
McGowan was educated at Birkenshaw Primary school, Heckmondwike Grammar School, and won a West Riding scholarship to Leicester University where he read History, philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He is married to Margarita and they have three grown up children, Joseph, Emily, and Sebastian and lives in Leeds.
Michael McGowan was elected a Labour Party District Councillor at the age of 21, a West Riding County Councillor at 23, and has served for 2 periods on Leeds City Council. He was Parliamentary Labour candidate for Ripon in 1966 and for Brighouse and Spenborough in 1979.
Michael McGowan (born April 14, 1966) is a Canadian filmmaker who wrote and directed the feature films Saint Ralph, One Week, and Still Mine.
McGowan was born in Toronto, Ontario, but graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BA in English. Returning to Toronto he became a journalist, writing for publications such as Toronto Life and The Globe and Mail.
He then joined the TV industry, helping create the stop-motion children's TV show Henry's World, and then wrote and directed Saint Ralph in 2004, which won the Outstanding Achievement in Direction award from the Director's Guild of Canada and the Writer's Guild of Canada award for Best Feature Film.
His film Score: A Hockey Musical was chosen to open the 35th Toronto International Film Festival in 2010.
He is also known as a children writer, author of books Newton and the Giant (2004) and Newton and the Time Machine (2009).
