In this video I try to explain what college affiliation is, talk about the 3 things I learned my first year, and the one thing I dislike about UCSC lol I truly think it's an amazing school. I asked a few people what they like and dislike about UCSC to give you a different perspective from my own. Here is what they said: I love the campus, I like easy professor/TA accessibility (even though we have huge class sizes), the diverse campus and all the different activities and clubs we have. It's like there's something for everyone. What I don't like.. THE FOOD, the hills when I'm running late to class. I kinda wish the party school thing would tone down, but that's just because I'm not into it. - Annie, transfer, Molecular Cell Development I'm a simple man. Just give me a bigger gym and I'm golden. -Keith, 4th year, Astrophysics I like the trees, people, organic & gluten free food options. I love the freedom of expression that is encouraged. I dislike the dorm bathrooms, the lack of security on campus to prevent psychos coming on campus, and no AC for when it's hot in the summer. -Kai, transfer, Literature I couldn't think of dislikes except for the school feeling small after my first year.
