There is everything for a big blast on the claim made by a couple from Thirupuvanam. They say that actor Dhanush is their son not of Kasthuri Raja. They have filed a complaint in the police station and had also reached CM cell saying that in 1985 they gave birth to a son named Kalaiarasan (Dhanush is born on 28th July 1983!!). He left them while studying in 11th standard and is now in Chennai living with the name Dhanush. The aged couple says that they have tried to contact Dhanush but his father Kasthuri Raja and the family do not let them to do it. Koollywood is stunned with the news and all they wanted is to hear the words of Dhanush.
Dhanush, the happening hotshot of Indian cinema, has been making sensations through the phenomenal establishments in his career. The versatile performer is the son of Kasthuri Raja and the son-in-law of Rajinikanth.
Now all of a sudden, an old village couple from Thiruppuvanam claims that Dhanush is their son and they want him back. The couple (Kathiresan and Meenaal) has lodged a complaint to the Police and the Chief Minister cell stating that Dhanush and his family refuse to see them.
Meenaal, in her interview to a television channel, said that the real name of Dhanush is Kalaiyarasan and he had run off from the family in 2002 after a few failures in his studies.
So as of now, we cannot conclude anything before the official clarification from the multi-talented actor.

Dhanush
Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, known by his stage name Dhanush, is an Indian film actor, producer, lyricist, and playback singer best known for his work in Tamil cinema. In 2011, he won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Aadukalam. The same year, he received international attention with his popular song "Why this Kolaveri Di", which became the first Indian video song to cross 100 million views on YouTube. He has won six Filmfare Awards. In 2015, he received his second National Award for producing the children's film Kaaka Muttai in 2015.
Dhanush's first film was Thulluvadho Ilamai, a 2002 coming-of-age film directed by his father, Kasthuri Raja. Over the next ten years, Dhanush has been featured in over 25 films. He produces films under his production company, Wunderbar Films.
Personal life
Born to Tamil film director and producer Kasthuri Raja, Dhanush entered acting after being pressured by his brother, director Selvaraghavan. One day, Tamizh's mother tells him to go to the temple for a pooja. There he meets Hema (Amy Jackson), who is an architecture student, and immediately falls in love with her. He then follows her around and wins her heart and they both fall in love. For their first anniversary, Tamizh, Hema, Kumaran and Hema's friend Revathi go to Darjeeling. Tamizh was doing all this without the knowledge of his father and Aravind, for which Tamizh feels guilty. He decides that he will tell them both the truth once he goes back to Chennai. But in Darjeeling he is faced by Aravind, who followed him to see what he was up to and make him feel guilty. Aravind says he never wants to see Tamizh again and storms off. Then they both go to the rooms and Hema gives Tamizh a plan of their future house. Tamizh sees that there is no room for his parents in their new house. He asks Hema about this and she says they will not be staying with them. This infuriates Tamizh and they both fight, eventually leading to their breakup.

Born to Tamil film director and producer Kasthuri Raja, Dhanush entered acting after being pressured by his brother, director Selvaraghavan.[9] Dhanush married Aishwarya, Rajinikanth's daughter, on 18 November 2004. They have two sons (Yatra and Linga) who were born in 2006 and 2010.[10][11] He studied at the Thai Sathiya Matriculation High School
Dhanush's first release in 2011, which he had shot for over three years, was Aadukalam, marking his second collaboration with Vetrimaran. Venkatesh Prabhu (born 28 July 1983), known by his stage name Dhanush, is an Indian film actor, producer, lyricist, and playback singer best known for his work in Tamil cinema.[3]
Dhanush's first film was Thulluvadho Ilamai, a 2002 coming-of-age film directed by his father, Kasthuri Raja. Over the next ten years, Dhanush has starred in over 25 films. Vasu (Dhanush) is from a middle-class family. He makes several bids to obtain employment but all goes in vain due to his poor language skills and inadequate education qualifications. All his friends settle in life, but he continues to struggle in finding work. Vasu has two faithful friends in Cheenu (Karthik Kumar) and Ganesh (Karunaas). His father (Raghuvaran), who is a teacher, is always critical of him for being an irresponsible person. This adds to his woes.
At this juncture, Vasu glimpses a woman named Keerthi (Nayanthara) and immediately falls in love with her. He learns that she works for a software solutions firm. Luckily for him, Vasu secures employment in the same firm. Keerthi eventually turns out to be a short-tempered young woman. On a business trip, Vasu accompanies her with two other colleagues (Jeeva and Manobala), to Australia. Here he reveals his feelings of love to her. She immediately turns him down, saying that she comes from an orthodox family and her marriage has already been arranged with her uncle's son.
A depressed Vasu returns to India thereafter. Unable to see his son in depression, his father decides to meet Keerthi. She abuses him for recommending his son's love and accidentally slaps Vasu and his father. Later that night, Vasu's father dies of a heart attack. To help change Vasu's mood, Cheenu persuades him to come to his family house in the country. Coincidentally, on the train journey, Keerthi is revealed to be Cheenu's fiancée. However, their grandfather's (K. Viswanath) thoughts of getting them married earlier are put aside because Cheenu and Keerthi leave the house to have their own identity. This causes heartburn to their grandfather.
With the passing of a few days, Keerthi and Cheenu's parents decide to get them married to appease their grandfather. After several turns of events, Keerthi realizes that she is in love with Vasu instead. Vasu asks her to forget him because he believes that it would create problems in their happy family. Cheenu overhears their midnight conversation. During the wedding, Cheenu tries to force Vasu and Keerthi to confess their relationship to everyone. But when they hesitate to do so, Cheenu stops the marriage himself, by lying to his elders that he has a secret wife in Chennai. When Cheenu comes under fire from his relatives, Vasu tells them the truth and is driven out of the house. He is joined only by the grandma of the house, who agrees to accompany him as she reminds Vasu of his late father.
In time, the rest of Cheenu and Keerthi's family comes to stay with him for a few days. But Cheenu's grandfather refuses to enter the house, telling Vasu he is still angry with him and needs time to change himself somehow. The movie ends when Vasu and Keerthi become a happy couple and live together happily.

Pudhupettai (Tamil: புதுப்பேட்டை English: New Hood/Area) is a 2006 Indian Tamil gangster film written and directed by Selvaraghavan, starring his brother Dhanush in the lead, whilst Sneha and Sonia Agarwal enact the lead female character roles. The film, with music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Arvind Krishna, Selvaraghavan.
The story is set in the backdrop of the slums of Pudhupettai in Chennai, as the title suggests, where a high school kid Kokki Kumar (Dhanush) sees his mom dead after he comes back from watching a film. His father, the murderer is also planning to kill his son Kumar. Kumar sensing danger runs away from home. Homeless and with no food Kumar resorts to begging until he is falsely arrested while standing by and watching a commotion on the street. In jail he befriends handymen of a local goon who take Kumar with them and give him petty jobs to do. In a confrontation with goons of another gang Kumar kills the brother of his enemy gang's head Murthy thus earning the respect of his gang and making enemies for himself both within his gang and outside.
Krishnaveni (Sneha) is a prostitute who also works under Anbu. Kumar falls in love with Krishnaveni and challenge Anbu to release her. Anbu in return beats Krishnaveni and orders to kill Kumar. Kumar approaches Anbu and asks to pardon him but Anbu wonders if it would be possible cancel the order to kill Kumar. Kumar infuriated kills Anbu and approaches Thalaivar (Azhagam Perumal). Thalaivar says if he could survive until the next day morning from Anbu's goon, who is seeking revenge, he would be bestowed with Anbu's area for business. Kumar survives and Thalaivar keeps him in place of Anbu.
Kumar grows even further in the underworld. He kills his father and his hench men. Murthy is stabbed by Kumar's men. Kumar joins Thalaivar's political party for immunity from police and arrests.
He then meets Selvi (Sonia Agarwal) on the eve of her wedding and falls in love with her and marries her forcibly during her wedding ceremony. Selvi is the sister of his favourite henchman who now becomes his sworn enemy and joins the enemy gang. Slowly Kumar starts accumulating serious enemies and eventually everyone start targeting for Kumar's head. Does Kumar survive the wrath of his enemies? forms the rest of the story.
Finally, Kumar kills a very important leader (and MLA) in the ruling party and gets arrested, but the incumbent CM sees the high potential in Kumar and brings him out of prison and wipes off his record. The CM gives Kumar the his party's ticket from the dead leader's constituency by-election. then it is told that Kumar won that election, became an MLA and 10 years, later the Finance Minister of Tamil Nadu. He owns large number of Industries and Educational Institutions. But still his lost son is not found.
