Olympian Tyson Gay's 15-year-old daughter has been shot dead at a Kentucky restaurant. Trinity Gay (pictured left and right with her father), herself a rising track star, was shot in the neck at Cook Out restaurant (inset) in Lexington early Sunday morning. She was taken to hospital but succumbed to her injuries, according to officials.

David Axelrod, one of President Barack Obama's top strategists, floated the idea that maybe Hillary Clinton should skip the final presidential debate. 'Drug testing?!? You have to wonder if @HillaryClinton will/should reconsider next debate, given the depths to which this has sunk,' the political operative who helped Obama get to the White House twice tweeted Saturday.

Saturday Night Live has mocked Donald Trump and the women closest to him with a hysterical parody of Beyonce's hit kissoff song, Sorry, from her album Lemonade. Melania, Ivanka, Tiffany, Kellyanne Conway and Omarosa Manigault were all portrayed in the 'Melanianade' skit which flipped the song's infamous 'Becky with the Good Hair' lyric to poke fun at his dependence on them to humanize him. 'Donald better watch out, me and my women about to roll out... Without us you wouldn't be standing there, you'd just be that guy with the weird hair.' Melania, played by Cecily Strong, got the skit underway, saying: 'I stood by your side this whole campaign, your beautiful, dutiful Melania. I can't take it anymore. I am your wife.' Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon have capped off another controversial week in politics with their hilarious portrayals of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on Saturday Night Live. McKinnon and Baldwin, who have won rave reviews over the past two weeks for their performances, skewered Sunday night's second presidential debate. When asked what she liked about 'Trump', McKinnon's Clinton answered: 'Well, this one's actually easy... I do like how generous he is. Just last Friday, he handed me this election.' The opening skit also mocked the real-life Trump's 'stalking' of Hillary Clinton on the debate stage, while also mentioning his ongoing sexual assault allegations scandal.

WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: Two Georgia men were killed in a speed boating accident on the Potomac River near Fairview, Maryland, on Saturday afternoon. James Melley, 49, and Garth Tagge, 61, were traveling at speeds in excess of 140mph, according to witnesses who watched the Potomac River Radar Run. The event is an annual race, though there are questions as to whether this particular race was sanctioned by authorities. In video of the accident, the boat is seen traveling at a high speed (left) before it flips over (center and right), violently ejecting the two men.

The behemoth vessel, called Sailing Yacht A, is the latest superboat to make its way into the expansive collection of industrialist Andrey Melnichenko, thought to be worth $10billion. It was seen undergoing tests and employing its sails for the first time in Strande, nearby Kiel, northern Germany, its shadow dwarfing other nearby sailing boats (shown main). At eight-decks and with masts that are nearly 330ft tall (pictured inset), it eclipses the height of London's Elizabeth Tower, which houses the Great Bell known as Big Ben. It also boasts a digital control system that has a touch sensitive sheet of black glass, allowing the crew to raise and lower the sails and anchor with the swipe of their fingers. Sailing Yacht A's keel incorporates one of the largest single pieces of curved glass ever made at 193 square feet, creating an underwater lounge on the bottom deck, and it is powered by a hybrid diesel-electric system at a top speed of 21 knots (24 mph).

One of the main bridges in Mosul has been taken out in an airstrike as militia forces move in to recapture the key city from ISIS. Mosul, in Iraq has been ISIS territory for two years. The bridge's partial destruction makes it far more difficult for the jihadi group to escape as militia forces of 30,000 prepare to move in and take back the city, the last Iraqi stronghold of the group. In the 1920s Al Capone was one of the most feared men in the United States of America - a criminal kingpin who rose to the head of the Chicago mob aged just 26 and whose campaign of extortion and murder touched the world of politics. But despite being shrewd and security-conscious, Capone was ultimately taken down by an unstoppable foe: A syphillis infection that left him with the mental age of a 12-year-old, doctors said. A 19-year-old University of Connecticut student has been run over and killed by a campus fire department vehicle. Jeffny Pally (pictured main) was sitting on the ground with her back against the bay door of the campus public safety complex in Storrs (inset) when the fire department got an emergency call in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to a Connecticut State Police report. The door was opened and Pally, of West Hartford, then fell and the fire department vehicle ran over her, the report states.

Trainer Darrick Thomson, 42, says he has formed an 'inseparable bond' with Kham Lha since she was rescued and brought to the reserve last year. Darrick, who is originally from Toronto, Ontario, pretended that he had got into trouble in the river, splashing and crying out for help (inset). When Kham Lha reached Darrick, she used her trunk to try and lift him up (left) before putting one of her legs around him (right).

Officials have identified a 15-year-old boy as the victim of a fatal shooting at a Cleveland Heights, Ohio sandwich shop. Sunny Ravi Patel died shortly after the shooting Friday at Mr. Hero on South Taylor Road, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office said. Detectives have released several surveillance photos of an unidentified man who shot Patel during an armed robbery at the sandwich shop. They are asking the public to help identify the man.

It's supposed to be a mythical creature hiding somewhere in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, but has Bigfoot finally been captured on video in Indonesia? Footage captured in the south east Asian country appears to show an enormous creature (pictured) walking upright through rolling green hillside. While on the somewhat distorted clip it can't be determined exactly what the creature is, some conspiracy theorists are believing it may finally be real footage of Bigfoot.

The case of a man who abducted a 6-year-old Cleveland girl and later tried to abduct a 10-year-old Ohio girl has left federal investigators baffled. More than 200 agents and police officers across the state have worked on the case. They have surveillance video of the kidnapper that shows his face. They have him on video driving a distinctive car. They've blasted his photo out via social media and highway billboards nationwide in hopes that someone would recognize him. But the 325 tips that have come into the FBI have led nowhere.

Four people were killed and nine were injured on Saturday in Chicano Park when a pickup truck driver plunged off the San Diego-Coronado Bridge and landed on the crowd below. The crowd was large due to a musical festival. The solo driver, identified as Richard Anthony Sepolio (inset), 24, who survived with serious injuries, will be arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence causing deaths and injuries, said police. All the dead and injured were in the crowd below.

The internet is in uproar after a man in Brazil posted an image of his dog (pictured, left), apparently sporting five tattoos. The bull terrier appears to have tattoos on its nose, ears, and below both of its eyes. The dog's owner (top right), a tattoo artist from Poços de Caldas in Minas Gerais state, deleted the image and his own Facebook profile after being criticised. But he later claimed he did it to protect the dog (bottom right, before it was tattooed) from cancer.

A video of a sheriff's deputy Deuntay Diggs showing off his moves to the tune of Beyonce's Formation has gone viral. The officer performed at North Stafford High School in Virginia. Diggs, 31, a lieutenant with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office in Virginia hopes his routine will not only connect with viewers, but reflect a different side of law enforcement.

Surfers Eithan Osborne and Micky Clarke sprung into action when they saw a boat with a dad and his two sons capsize in Ventura, California. The unnamed father-of-two was boating into the Ventura harbor recently when he began to lose control of the vessel (pictured). The boat is seen in footage of the incident coming dangerously close to surfers as it capsizes on a sand trap (inset). Ventura harbor patrol officials said the man is being investigated for reckless operation. The children were reportedly wearing adult life jackets while the father was not wearing any safety gear.

Created by Playbuzz , the game tasks you to differentiate the red dots from the very similar shades of fuchsia and orange - and will leave you straining to see clearly. The eight pictures are all the more eye-watering as each image is similar in terms of spacing and colour.

Florida police arrested Curtis Sanders (insets), a 30-year-old Fort Lauderdale resident who was filmed by surveillance cameras attempting an armed robbery of a convenience store on Tuesday only to be shot and wounded by the clerk (above). In the video of the incident, Sanders is seen pulling a gun on the clerk who was manning the cash register. As the clerk grabbed his own gun, Sanders pulled the trigger and shot the clerk in the face. The clerk then returned fire and wounded Sanders multiple times.

The video shows the paramilitary-style guards attacking a diner in a restaurant Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. One of the guards used an AK47 assault rifle to beat the customer (right). Another diner is thrown to the floor before being kicked in the head by one of the guards. Police said they have arrested three suspects, who face up to seven years in jail if convicted of grievous bodily harm.

Helen Joyce was attempting to back into a parking spot when she pressed on the gas and drove right into Spy Pond (left) in Arlington, Massachusetts on Friday. Dan Frazier, 54, and his friend Kenneth Chapman, 57, were biking by the pond and watched the horrific scene. Cesar Perozo, 41, also saw Joyce's car go into the water and was first to jump into the pond to rescue her. He opened the car door and tried to pull her out, but water rushed into the SUV and it immediately sank (top right). Joyce was able to come up for air and Frazier (inset) and Chapman then stepped in to help take her to the shore. She was hospitalized for mild hypothermia and has since been released.

Sandy beaches and turquoise waters form a vision that will inspire wanderlust in most people - especially when the weather cools. But while you might have imagined white or pale yellow sand, there are a few destinations around the world where the beaches actually have a subtle shade of pink. One of the most famous example is Pink Sands Beach, a three-mile long stretch of sand on Harbour Island in the Bahamas but you can also find it in Italy (bottom right), Greece (top left, bottom left and inset) and Indonesia (top right).

The soldier, dressed in uniform, got down on one knee just before taking part in a military parade in Madrid. The video shows his girlfriend saying yes and the couple embracing, with the other soldiers applauding and breaking out into a huge cheer. The video of the proposal was shared on social media and has been viewed more than 1.4 million times.
