Ideally, in a perfect world, none of us want to go to prison. The majority of us consider ourselves law-abiding citizens who try to do good each day. Of course, there’s the occasional traffic ticket, or maybe even messing up on our tax returns, getting sued by someone, etc. But most of the time, crimes are fairly minor. But if you’re someone who has a hard time following the law, or constantly getting in trouble, then you’re probably all too familiar with the prison system. Some prisons are worse than others, and often the prison fits the crime. Some prisons, if you committed a crime such as tax fraud or something relatively minor, may seem like a walk in the park. But if you committed a murder, assaulted someone, committed a crime that was drug related, etc. then you might be placed somewhere with a lot more security with rules and less-than-comfortable living conditions.
For example, the Vladmir Central Prison is notorious for the abuse that it bestows upon its inmates. Built in Russia in 1783, the prison received fame for locking up political figures during the Soviet Union. What makes this prison even more intense is that the guards will actually order prisoners to beat each other. In Nairobi, Kenya, you don’t want to be sent to the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison. Not only is it overcrowded in a 1200 square foot lot, but prisoners are subject to malnutrition, disease, and ulcers. The prison is also known for housing political figures.
One of the most well-known prisons in the world was Alcatraz. Set upon a rock off the coastline of San Francisco, Alcatraz housed some of the country’s most notorious criminals, including Al Capone. Forever isolated from the outside world, prisoners were forced to gaze upon the bustling city across the bay, while living life in prison. Prisoners were forced to show no emotion, or they were subjected to violent punishments.
Russia actually has a few prisons that are considered to be just awful. The Butyrka Prison in Moscow was rampant with AIDS and turberculosis diagnosis plus major overcrowding. Guards were placing 100 people in cells that were built to hold only ten. No wonder prisoners got so sick! Speaking of overcrowding, the Diyarbakr Prison in Turkey was constantly under fire for overcrowding the facility, along with imprisoning children for life. Many people there were unfairly incarcerated. The prison was known for psychologically and physically torturing their prisoners along with forcing them to live in unlivable conditions.
Petak Island Prison is pretty much the Russian version of Alcatraz, located in White Lake. The prison was created to hold some of the worst inmates that the country could find. The idea and trend of having an impenetrable or inescapable prison was becoming popular. The prisoners are forced to live in cages that have no lavatories or washrooms, which makes the living conditions uncomfortable and unsanitary.
These aren’t even the worst prisons on the list. The rest of the prisons in this video alone should be enough to convince you or your loved ones to stay on the right path and not stray into a life a crime.

Deputy President William Ruto has been caught up in several corruption scandals
Although he has managed to wriggle himself out of them, they have left him tainted. He recently told Kenyan journalists in New York that he is not a land grabber
Deputy President William Ruto seems to always be a man under siege with countless corruption allegations being leveled against him.
Ruto has been caught in several mega corruption scandals and he has struggled to clear his name with little success. Here are some of the big scandals he has been caught in.
1. Langata Road Primary School land grab scandal
Ruto’s name featured prominently after there was an attempt to grab the Langata Primary School playground by some faceless businessmen. His Weston hotel was accused of attempting to convert the playground into a parking lot. Weston is also claimed to have been built on land grabbed from the Kenya Civil Aviation. Ruto at first denied he owns Weston Hotel but he later admitted it is his but denied any land grabbing allegations.
2. Muteshi land grab
The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu .
This is perhaps the worst land grab scandal which badly exposed Ruto leaving him being fined KSh 5 million for the same. The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu County and ordered that he pays the fine to Adrian Muteshi for trespassing on his land and denying him use since 2008.
3. Maize scandal in the Grand Coalition government
When the scandal first came out in 2009, Ruto then the Agriculture minister survived a vote of no confidence. Ruto was accused of illegally selling maize from the country’s strategic grains serves by Ikolomani MP and now Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale. The deputy speaker then rejected documents presented in Parliament linking Ruto to the sale of the grains. Ruto accused his political enemies saying they were behind the scandal.
4. Hustler’s jet scandal
This is another scandal which left a blot in his personality and happened in 2013 just after the Jubilee Coalition government came into power.
Ruto was accused of hiring a private jet for KSh 100 million to tour West Africa at a time the government was struggling to meet its financial obligations. A report on the jet was trashed by Parliament.
5. Ruto accused of grabbing the Kenya Pipeline land in Nairobi
Ruto was charged for defrauding KPC of huge amounts of money through dubious land deals but he was cleared by the High Court of any criminal liability over allegations that he sold the KPC land
6. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital scandal
Although he was smack in the middle of this scandal, Ruto sought to distance himself from the issue.
The KSh 28 billion deal was meant to expand the hospital in Eldoret but Ruto said he stopped the deal because procedures were not followed.

Nairobi
Nairobi (/naɪˈroʊbi/; locally [naɪˈroːbi]) is the capital and largest city of Kenya. It is famous for having the Nairobi National Park, the world’s only game reserve found within a major city. The city and its surrounding area also form Nairobi County, whose current governor is Evans Kidero.
The name "Nairobi" comes from the Maasai phrase Enkare Nairobi, which translates to "cool water". The phrase is also the Maasai name of the Nairobi river, which in turn lent its name to the city. However, it is popularly known as the "Green City in the Sun", and is surrounded by several expanding villa suburbs.
Nairobi was founded in 1899 by the colonial authorities in British East Africa, as a rail depot on the Uganda Railway. The town quickly grew to replace Machakos as the capital of Kenya in 1907. After independence in 1963, Nairobi became the capital of the Republic of Kenya. During Kenya's colonial period, the city became a centre for the colony's coffee, tea and sisal industry. The city lies on the River Athi in the southern part of the country, and has an elevation of 1,795 metres (5,889 ft) above sea level.

William Ruto
William Samoei arap Ruto (born 21 December 1966) is a Kenyan politician who has been Deputy President of Kenya since 2013. He served as the Acting President of Kenya between 5 and 8 October 2014 while President Uhuru Kenyatta was away at the Hague. He previously served in various ministerial positions including the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Higher Education. He was Secretary General of KANU, the former ruling political party, and MP for Eldoret North Constituency between December 1997 and January 2013. He won the seat in the 1997 Kenyan election after defeating Reuben Chesire. He was appointed to the position of Assistant Minister in the Office of the President by President Daniel arap Moi in 1998. He was promoted to be Minister for Home Affairs in August 2002. He also previously served as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Constitutional Reform in the 9th Parliament.
On 4 March 2013, he was elected as Deputy President alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta. They won on a Jubilee Coalition ticket.

ANNA (band)
ANNA (Ukrainian: АННА) is a nu metal/hardcore band from Lviv, Ukraine.
ANNA has three times toured in Ukraine supporting both of its albums and the 10th anniversary of the band. Also ANNA has taken a part in many Ukrainian festivals (e.g. Rujnacija, Rock-Vybux, Taras Buljba, Metal Heads Mission, Big Alternative Gig, Fort.Missia).
The band ceased to exist in February 2013 because of conflict between Viktor Novosyolov and the rest of the band. Later Novosyolov created a project Kompas while some other ANNA members continue to collaborate as LATUR.
In 2015 the band got active taking part in the festival "Zavantazhennya" and preparing a big solo concert in Kyiv.

Top 6 Biggest Corruption Scandals That Haunt DP William Ruto Deputy President William Ruto has been caught up in several corruption scandals Although he has managed to wriggle himself out of them, they have left him tainted. He recently told Kenyan journalists in New York that he is not a land grabber Deputy President William Ruto seems to always be a man under siege with countless corruption allegations being leveled against him. Ruto has been caught in several mega corruption scandals and he has struggled to clear his name with little success. Here are some of the big scandals he has been caught in. 1. Langata Road Primary School land grab scandal Ruto’s name featured prominently after there was an attempt to grab the Langata Primary School playground by some faceless businessmen. His Weston hotel was accused of attempting to convert the playground into a parking lot. Weston is also claimed to have been built on land grabbed from the Kenya Civil Aviation. Ruto at first denied he owns Weston Hotel but he later admitted it is his but denied any land grabbing allegations. 2. Muteshi land grab The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu . This is perhaps the worst land grab scandal which badly exposed Ruto leaving him being fined KSh 5 million for the same. The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu County and ordered that he pays the fine to Adrian Muteshi for trespassing on his land and denying him use since 2008. 3. Maize scandal in the Grand Coalition government When the scandal first came out in 2009, Ruto then the Agriculture minister survived a vote of no confidence. Ruto was accused of illegally selling maize from the country’s strategic grains serves by Ikolomani MP and now Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale. The deputy speaker then rejected documents presented in Parliament linking Ruto to the sale of the grains. Ruto accused his political enemies saying they were behind the scandal. 4. Hustler’s jet scandal This is another scandal which left a blot in his personality and happened in 2013 just after the Jubilee Coalition government came into power. Ruto was accused of hiring a private jet for KSh 100 million to tour West Africa at a time the government was struggling to meet its financial obligations. A report on the jet was trashed by Parliament. 5. Ruto accused of grabbing the Kenya Pipeline land in Nairobi Ruto was charged for defrauding KPC of huge amounts of money through dubious land deals but he was cleared by the High Court of any criminal liability over allegations that he sold the KPC land 6. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital scandal Although he was smack in the middle of this scandal, Ruto sought to distance himself from the issue. The KSh 28 billion deal was meant to expand the hospital in Eldoret but Ruto said he stopped the deal because procedures were not followed. Ideally, in a perfect world, none of us want to go to prison. The majority of us consider ourselves law-abiding citizens who try to do good each day. Of course, there’s the occasional traffic ticket, or maybe even messing up on our tax returns, getting sued by someone, etc. But most of the time, crimes are fairly minor. But if you’re someone who has a hard time following the law, or constantly getting in trouble, then you’re probably all too familiar with the prison system. Some prisons are worse than others, and often the prison fits the crime. Some prisons, if you committed a crime such as tax fraud or something relatively minor, may seem like a walk in the park. But if you committed a murder, assaulted someone, committed a crime that was drug related, etc. then you might be placed somewhere with a lot more security with rules and less-than-comfortable living conditions.
For example, the Vladmir Central Prison is notorious for the abuse that it bestows upon its inmates. Built in Russia in 1783, the prison received fame for locking up political figures during the Soviet Union. What makes this prison even more intense is that the guards will actually order prisoners to beat each other. In Nairobi, Kenya, you don’t want to be sent to the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison. Not only is it overcrowded in a 1200 square foot lot, but prisoners are subject to malnutrition, disease, and ulcers. The prison is also known for housing political figures.
One of the most well-known prisons in the world was Alcatraz. Set upon a rock off the coastline of San Francisco, Alcatraz housed some of the country’s most notorious criminals, including Al Capone. Forever isolated from the outside world, prisoners were forced to gaze upon the bustling city across the bay, while living life in prison. Prisoners were forced to show no emotion, or they were subjected to violent punishments.
Russia actually has a few prisons that are considered to be just awful. The Butyrka Prison in Moscow was rampant with AIDS and turberculosis diagnosis plus major overcrowding. Guards were placing 100 people in cells that were built to hold only ten. No wonder prisoners got so sick! Speaking of overcrowding, the Diyarbakr Prison in Turkey was constantly under fire for overcrowding the facility, along with imprisoning children for life. Many people there were unfairly incarcerated. The prison was known for psychologically and physically torturing their prisoners along with forcing them to live in unlivable conditions.
Petak Island Prison is pretty much the Russian version of Alcatraz, located in White Lake. The prison was created to hold some of the worst inmates that the country could find. The idea and trend of having an impenetrable or inescapable prison was becoming popular. The prisoners are forced to live in cages that have no lavatories or washrooms, which makes the living conditions uncomfortable and unsanitary.
These aren’t even the worst prisons on the list. The rest of the prisons in this video alone should be enough to convince you or your loved ones to stay on the right path and not stray into a life a crime.

Deputy President William Ruto has been caught up in several corruption scandals
Although he has managed to wriggle himself out of them, they have left him tainted. He recently told Kenyan journalists in New York that he is not a land grabber
Deputy President William Ruto seems to always be a man under siege with countless corruption allegations being leveled against him.
Ruto has been caught in several mega corruption scandals and he has struggled to clear his name with little success. Here are some of the big scandals he has been caught in.
1. Langata Road Primary School land grab scandal
Ruto’s name featured prominently after there was an attempt to grab the Langata Primary School playground by some faceless businessmen. His Weston hotel was accused of attempting to convert the playground into a parking lot. Weston is also claimed to have been built on land grabbed from the Kenya Civil Aviation. Ruto at first denied he owns Weston Hotel but he later admitted it is his but denied any land grabbing allegations.
2. Muteshi land grab
The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu .
This is perhaps the worst land grab scandal which badly exposed Ruto leaving him being fined KSh 5 million for the same. The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu County and ordered that he pays the fine to Adrian Muteshi for trespassing on his land and denying him use since 2008.
3. Maize scandal in the Grand Coalition government
When the scandal first came out in 2009, Ruto then the Agriculture minister survived a vote of no confidence. Ruto was accused of illegally selling maize from the country’s strategic grains serves by Ikolomani MP and now Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale. The deputy speaker then rejected documents presented in Parliament linking Ruto to the sale of the grains. Ruto accused his political enemies saying they were behind the scandal.
4. Hustler’s jet scandal
This is another scandal which left a blot in his personality and happened in 2013 just after the Jubilee Coalition government came into power.
Ruto was accused of hiring a private jet for KSh 100 million to tour West Africa at a time the government was struggling to meet its financial obligations. A report on the jet was trashed by Parliament.
5. Ruto accused of grabbing the Kenya Pipeline land in Nairobi
Ruto was charged for defrauding KPC of huge amounts of money through dubious land deals but he was cleared by the High Court of any criminal liability over allegations that he sold the KPC land
6. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital scandal
Although he was smack in the middle of this scandal, Ruto sought to distance himself from the issue.
The KSh 28 billion deal was meant to expand the hospital in Eldoret but Ruto said he stopped the deal because procedures were not followed.

During RAJ's trip to his hometown, KISII, after a long while, he was shocked to see the levels of poverty still, 2017, at the same place he grew up, a place he calls home. He decided to encode this situation into a stripped down video. We decided, with the team at NEZZO FILMS, that it will be RAW. No make up, no fancy clothes, no fancy cars, houses or fancy anything. Just a raw video to show the exact situation of the people he loves and the place he calls home. While there, he donated food and clothes to schools & orphanages. ABSTRACT
North Korea Nuclear Proliferation, Negotiation and the human aspects of an estranged country.
My seventh trip to North Korea in seven years produced another surprise -- North Korea decided to build its own light-water reactor and uranium enrichment facility. During my first visit I was shown plutonium produced in its Yongbyon nuclear complex to convince me they have the bomb. For more than 30 years, Pyongyang has moved along parallel paths of nuclear energy and nuclear weapons, opting to chose bombs over electricity. I will discuss how North Korea got the bomb, why it got it, and the prospects of whether or not it will give up the bomb. Finally, I will try to show with photos and stories of how North Korea is not such a hermit kingdom after all.
Siegfried S. Hecker is co-director of the Stanford University Center for International Security and Cooperation, Senior Fellow of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and Professor (Research) in the Department of Management Science and Engineering. He is also director emeritus at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he served as director from 1986-1997 and senior fellow until July 2005. He received his B.S., M.S., and PhD degrees in metallurgy from Case Western Reserve University. His current professional interests include plutonium research, cooperative nuclear threat reduction with the Russian nuclear complex, and global nonproliferation and counter terrorism. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a fellow of numerous professional societies and recently received the Presidential Enrico Fermi Award.

Lieutenant Colonel Margaret Stock is an attorney and 2013 recipient of a MacArthur Foundation fellowship (“genius award”) who speaks widely on issues of immigration law and national security. With experiences serving in the U.S. Army Reserve and teaching at West Point, Stock challenges complex federal immigration laws in order to provide more humane and rational policies that will also serve American national security interests.
Stock brings her singular knowledge of immigration law and national security law to bear on reform efforts through direct representation and policy-based advocacy. With a broad view of national security that goes beyond protecting the country from terrorist threats to include the protection of economic and political interests that ensure our prosperity, Stock articulates the crucial role of a healthy and efficient immigration system in responding to changes in the global economy and maintaining the foundational values of our democracy.
Margaret Stock has spearheaded the development of three groundbreaking programs that creatively adapt existing laws to better the lives of both immigrants and native-born military personnel. Beginning in 2008, she initiated and, in cooperation with the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security, implemented the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program, which allows the U.S. armed forces to attract and retain foreign nationals with language, medical, and other skills critical to military readiness and national security by expediting their path to citizenship.
Stock received an A.B. (1985), J.D. (1992), and M.P.A. (2001) from Harvard University and an M.S.S. (2006) from the U.S. Army War College. After 28 years of service, in 2010 she retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Military Police, U.S. Army Reserve. During her years of service, she also taught at the United States Military Academy at West Point (2001–2010) and later served as counsel to the firm Lane Powell (2010–2013). She is the author of Immigration Law and the Military (2012) and an attorney with the Anchorage office of Cascadia Cross Border Law.

Of course, there’s the occasional traffic ticket, or maybe even messing up on our tax returns, getting sued by someone, etc. But most of the time, crimes are fairly minor. But if you’re someone who has a hard time following the law, or constantly getting in trouble, then you’re probably all too familiar with the prison system. Some prisons are worse than others, and often the prison fits the crime. Some prisons, if you committed a crime such as tax fraud or something relatively minor, may seem like a walk in the park. But if you committed a murder, assaulted someone, committed a crime that was drug related, etc. then you might be placed somewhere with a lot more security with rules and less-than-comfortable living conditions.
For example, the Vladmir Central Prison is notorious for the abuse that it bestows upon its inmates. Built in Russia in 1783, the prison received fame for locking up political figures during the Soviet Union. What makes this prison even more intense is that the guards will actually order prisoners to beat each other. In Nairobi, Kenya, you don’t want to be sent to the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison. Not only is it overcrowded in a 1200 square foot lot, but prisoners are subject to malnutrition, disease, and ulcers. The prison is also known for housing political figures.
One of the most well-known prisons in the world was Alcatraz. Set upon a rock off the coastline of San Francisco, Alcatraz housed some of the country’s most notorious criminals, including Al Capone. Forever isolated from the outside world, prisoners were forced to gaze upon the bustling city across the bay, while living life in prison. Prisoners were forced to show no emotion, or they were subjected to violent punishments.
Russia actually has a few prisons that are considered to be just awful. The Butyrka Prison in Moscow was rampant with AIDS and turberculosis diagnosis plus major overcrowding. Guards were placing 100 people in cells that were built to hold only ten. No wonder prisoners got so sick! Speaking of overcrowding, the Diyarbakr Prison in Turkey was constantly under fire for overcrowding the facility, along with imprisoning children for life. Many people there were unfairly incarcerated. The prison was known for psychologically and physically torturing their prisoners along with forcing them to live in unlivable conditions.
Petak Island Prison is pretty much the Russian version of Alcatraz, located in White Lake. The prison was created to hold some of the worst inmates that the country could find. The idea and trend of having an impenetrable or inescapable prison was becoming popular. The prisoners are forced to live in cages that have no lavatories or washrooms, which makes the living conditions uncomfortable and unsanitary.
These aren’t even the worst prisons on the list. The rest of the prisons in this video alone should be enough to convince you or your loved ones to stay on the right path and not stray into a life a crime.

Russia actually has a few prisons that are considered to be just awful. The Butyrka Prison in Moscow was rampant with AIDS and turberculosis diagnosis plus major overcrowding. Guards were placing 100 people in cells that were built to hold only ten. No wonder prisoners got so sick! Speaking of overcrowding, the Diyarbakr Prison in Turkey was constantly under fire for overcrowding the facility, along with imprisoning children for life. Many people there were unfairly incarcerated. The prison was known for psychologically and physically torturing their prisoners along with forcing them to live in unlivable conditions.
Petak Island Prison is pretty much the Russian version of Alcatraz, located in White Lake. The prison was created to hold some of the worst inmates that the country could find. The idea and trend of having an impenetrable or inescapable prison was becoming popular. The prisoners are forced to live in cages that have no lavatories or washrooms, which makes the living conditions uncomfortable and unsanitary.
These aren’t even the worst prisons on the list. The rest of the prisons in this video alone should be enough to convince you or your loved ones to stay on the right path and not stray into a life a crime.

Deputy President William Ruto has been caught up in several corruption scandals
Although he has managed to wriggle himself out of them, they have left him tainted. He recently told Kenyan journalists in New York that he is not a land grabber
Deputy President William Ruto seems to always be a man under siege with countless corruption allegations being leveled against him.
Ruto has been caught in several mega corruption scandals and he has struggled to clear his name with little success. Here are some of the big scandals he has been caught in.
1. Langata Road Primary School land grab scandal
Ruto’s name featured prominently after there was an attempt to grab the Langata Primary School playground by some faceless businessmen. His Weston hotel was accused of attempting to convert the playground into a parking lot. Weston is also claimed to have been built on land grabbed from the Kenya Civil Aviation. Ruto at first denied he owns Weston Hotel but he later admitted it is his but denied any land grabbing allegations.
2. Muteshi land grab
The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu .
This is perhaps the worst land grab scandal which badly exposed Ruto leaving him being fined KSh 5 million for the same. The court ruled that Ruto did not provide evidence that he had bought the 100- acre land in Uasin Gishu County and ordered that he pays the fine to Adrian Muteshi for trespassing on his land and denying him use since 2008.
3. Maize scandal in the Grand Coalition government
When the scandal first came out in 2009, Ruto then the Agriculture minister survived a vote of no confidence. Ruto was accused of illegally selling maize from the country’s strategic grains serves by Ikolomani MP and now Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale. The deputy speaker then rejected documents presented in Parliament linking Ruto to the sale of the grains. Ruto accused his political enemies saying they were behind the scandal.
4. Hustler’s jet scandal
This is another scandal which left a blot in his personality and happened in 2013 just after the Jubilee Coalition government came into power.
Ruto was accused of hiring a private jet for KSh 100 million to tour West Africa at a time the government was struggling to meet its financial obligations. A report on the jet was trashed by Parliament.
5. Ruto accused of grabbing the Kenya Pipeline land in Nairobi
Ruto was charged for defrauding KPC of huge amounts of money through dubious land deals but he was cleared by the High Court of any criminal liability over allegations that he sold the KPC land
6. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital scandal
Although he was smack in the middle of this scandal, Ruto sought to distance himself from the issue.
The KSh 28 billion deal was meant to expand the hospital in Eldoret but Ruto said he stopped the deal because procedures were not followed.
