Plot: With no means of communication, transportation, or even electricity, an assorted group are stranded at Juhu's Barista Cafe during Mumbai's rain deluge (over 37 inches in just a few hours) on July 26, 2005, including: Delhi-based Shivam, who, after relocating to Mumbai, has placed an ad on Shaadi.com to find his soul-mate; Jabalpur-born Sanam meets with an agent to get her foot in the door in Bollywood; Simran and her husband are worried about their children who are at Esselworld; a desperate father, stranded in Four Bungalows, looking for his school-going daughter, Neetu; a grief-stricken and distraught grandmother is blaming herself for losing her grandchild in the floods; Mumbai-born Rashi is anxious to get in touch with her equally anxious mother; while two police officers arrive on the scene to question this group as they suspect one of them may be bank robbers who got away with a large sum of money.

Plot: Four friends get together to start their career in crime, and extortion. They call themssevles G.A.N.G., which means G=Gangu; A=Abdul; N=Nihal Singh; and G=Gary Rozario. All four come from different cultural and religious backgrounds, but their roots are build on friendship and trust. They do succeed in their criminal goals, but Gangu is arrested and sentenced for five years. Before going to jail, he asks them to promise to go straight, to which they all agree. When Gangu is released, he is pleased to find that Abdul is now driving a taxi, his mother is well looked after, and that Nihal and Gary have also started doing business. It is when Gangu meets his sweetheart, Sanam, and proposes marriage, that he learns that all is not well in their world.

Plot: Gaurav Anand comes from a wealthy family, and enjoys a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle. He lives with his dad, Yashpal, an Industrialist; his mom, and an elder brother, Narendra, who is overseas. Gaurav has always shadowed by Narendra, and is resentful of his dad's attention toward Narendra. His dad is not at all attentive to Gaurav, as he dots on Narendra. Narendra returns home, and his parents are overjoyed, and spend all their available time with him. When Narendra is killed during an accident, the entire family is devastated by his sudden death. Gaurav attempts to fill-in for his brother, but in vain. In frustration, he joins the army and leaves home. His decision to join the army was not to serve his country, but to prove to his dad, but he, too, could be a worthy son. But will this decision make an impact on his sorrowing dad?

Plot: Kailash Nath is the Manager of a Bank and lives a comfortable lifestyle with his wife, Savitri, and son, Kishan. He is friendly with the Bank Watchman, Shankar Dayal Khurana, so much so that he arranges the marriage of Kishan with Shankar's daughter, Sanam. Shortly after the marriage of the two children, the bank is robbed, Kailash becomes a suspect, is arrested, charged, and sentenced to 12 years in prison. After he completes his sentence he returns home to find out that Savitri and Kishan are not traceable. He also finds out that he was framed for the bank robbery by none other than Shankar, who is now the Mayor of this town. In the meantime, Kishan, now grown up, goes to take Sanam home with him as his bride. She refuses to do so, but he forcibly takes her, so Sanam decides to go along too. What Kishan does know is that Sanam to get married to Pradeep, the only son of millionaire Lalla, but before doing that she wants to publicly humiliate Kishan and Savitri.

Plot: The story took place in 1930s in Soviet Armenia. Arakel Aloyan is a naive peasant who left his homeland in Western Armenia after Armenian genocide of 1915, witnessed his village burnt and women raped. All the efforts of family members to pursue Arakel to accustom himself to a new life in Soviet Armenia are in vain whilst he suffers from nostalgia. After having a vision one sleepless night, Arakel crosses the Soviet-Turkish border, visits his village ("to visit the tombs of my parents, to kiss the remaining walls of our village church"), meets his old Kurdish friends. After returning back, he's captured by NKVD (Soviet state security) being accused of "spying against the nation" and tragically ends his life in the exile train to Siberia.
