Chirag Paswan

Chirag Paswan is an Indian politician belonging to Lok Janshakti Party. He is son of Member of Parliament and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan. He was elected as member of the 16th Lok Sabha in the 2014 Indian general election from Jamui constituency in Bihar, while his father who is president of the Lok Janshakti Party won from Hajipur constituency.

He was earlier a Bollywood actor He made his way to the Bollywood by signing the movie of Tanveer Khan's Miley Naa Miley Hum in 2011. He made his Bollywood debut in a romantic drama opposite not one but three leading ladies Kangana Ranaut, Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge. However, the film failed at the box office, thereby ending his Bollywood career.

Subsequently he turned to politics and contested the 2014 elections as LJP candidate. He won the seat by defeating the nearest rival Sudhansu Shekhar Bhaskar of Rashtriya Janata Dal by over 85,000 votes.

Chirag

Chirag (Hindi: चिराग; English: Light) is a 1969 Indian Bollywood film directed by Raj Khosla. The film stars Sunil Dutt and Asha Parekh in lead roles. Apart from other plus points, it has the famous song 'teri aankhon ke siwa' sung separately by Mohd. Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar. It also has 'mere bichhade sathi sunta ja' and 'chhayi barakha bahar..' both sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Plot

Ajay Singh (Sunil Dutt) meets Asha Chibber (Asha Parekh), and is led to believe that she belongs to a wealthy family. After a few misunderstandings, he does find out that she is a simple girl living a poor lifestyle. Both do fall in love, and Ajay goes to meet with Asha's brother, Dr. O.P. Chibber (Om Prakash), and his wife, Shanti (Sulochana Latkar). They are pleased to meet him, and Ajay's mother, Gayetridevi (Lalita Pawar) visits them and approves of Asha. Ajay and Asha get married and settle down. After marriage Asha is expected to conceive, but she is unable to do so. After a certain incident she also loses her eyesight and becomes dependent on Ajay. Frustrated Gayetridevi decides to ask Asha to leave the house, and arranges a second marriage for Ajay, an act which will change the lives of everyone in the house.

Ram Vilas Paswan

Ram Vilas Paswan (born 5 July 1946) is an Indian politician, from Bihar and the current Union MInister of Food and Public Distribution. Paswan is also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party, eight time Lok Sabha member and former Rajya Sabha MP. Started his political career as member of Samyukta Socialist Party and was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1969. Next he joined Lok Dal upon its formation in 1974, and became its general secretary. He opposed the emergency, and was arrested during the period. He entered the Lok Sabha in 1977, as a Janata Party member from Hajipur constituency, was chosen again 1980, 1984, 1989, 1996 and 1998.

In 2000, he formed the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) as its President. Subsequently, he joined the ruling United Progressive Alliance government and remained a Union Minister in Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Ministry of Steel. He won the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, but lost the 2009 elections. After being member of a Rajya Sabha member from 2010 to 2014, he was elected again to the 16th Lok Sabha in the 2014 Indian general election from Hajipur constituency.

Miley Naa Miley Hum

Miley Naa Miley Hum is a 2011 Bollywood film directed by Tanveer Khan, and marking the debut of Chirag Paswan, son of Ram Vilas Paswan. The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge. The film released on 4 November 2011.. The film has an item number by Shweta Tiwari. The film went unnoticed and considered a box office flop. Subsequently Paswan turned to politics and in the 2014 elections elected to the Lok Sabha from Jamui seat in Bihar.

Plot

Chirag comes from a wealthy background and assists his father, Siddharth Mehra, to maintain their farmland. His parents have been divorced due to incompatibility arising mainly due to his businesswoman mother, Shalini's hatred of tennis, and he lives with them every alternate month. Both would like him to get married, and accordingly Shalini picks London-based Kamiah, while Siddharth picks Bhatinda-based Manjeet Ahluwalia. Chirag, who sneaks off to practice tennis at night, is asked to make a choice but informs them that he is in love with a model named Anishka. Watch what happens when the displeased couple decide to confront and put pressure on a struggling and unknowing klutz-like Anishka to leave their son alone.
