Northbound carriageway now closed until the morning
We’re going to close our live updates on this incident now. The northbound M5 is now shut between junctions two and one for those resurfacing works to take place overnight.

Looks like most of the delays on the M5 and around Oldbury have now cleared after the disruption earlier. Just a reminder though, there is still one lane of the northbound carriageway closed between junctions two and one.
Carriageway to be closed again overnight for resurfacing
Hopefully the delays on the M5 will ease over the course of this evening, but if you are planning to travel on the motorway tonight, I’m afraid it is going to be closed again.
