An Indian secret agent comes to know that some terrorists are planning to release a deadly gas through the atmosphere that will annihilate anyone who inhales it, including plants and animals. His attempts to pass this information are successful, however, he himself is killed while doing so. The information reaches top authorities, who, after an urgent meeting, decide to assign this matter to their ace Agent 707, Inspector Rajesh. Rajesh is summoned and briefed about this mission, and he sets forth on his way. He meets with a gorgeous young woman named Rita, and both fall in love with each other. Thereafter no matter where Rajesh is, the terrorists seem to find that out, and Rajesh himself is on the run for his life, as well as the life of Rita. Destiny moulds its own way. When Thakur Mahendra Singh adopted a child his wife gave him the happy news that she is going to be a mother herself. The adopted sons father Badri, who was known as Thakurs faithfull servant, thought of murdering the newly born child. But his wife Ganga stopped him and ran away with the child. . Twenty five years passed away. But the sins of the father were not left unpunished. . It was on the steps of Bijlis Kotha, that a murder was commited. Rajkumar did not know how to dispose off the dead body. Badri, now a victoria driver, came to his rescue. He took away the dead body and placed it in a car parked at a lonely place. It was Varshas car. A happy go lucky girl, as she was, Varsha found the dead body. She was dumb founded and thought to inform the police. But a second thought came to her mind and she pulled the dead body up to the road and left it there. A constable, who saw all this informed the Police. Inspector Shyam came to investigate and was surprised to see his own beloved entangled in this case. But the duty of a Police Officer came forward Varsha was arrested and investigation went on . How Varsha was proved innocent ? How the criminals were punished ? How the Inspector solved the mystery ? This is what you will see in INSPECTOR.

Plot: Inspector Ranjit Singh lives a middle-classed lifestyle along with his wife, Laxmi, a son, Pappu, and daughter, Pinky. When the National Bank is broken into one night, he gives chase to the robbers, and shoots one of them dead. The dead robber's brother, Kundan, manages to get away with the loot, then tracks down Ranjit and his family, shoots at them, forcing their jeep to fall into the Narbada river, separating the entire family. Ranjit manages to rescue Laxmi, and then apprehends Kundan, has him tried in Court, and sentenced to jail for several years, but is unable to recover the stolen loot. Years later, Kundan gets discharged and is received by his nephew, Chaman. Ranjit is now the Inspector General of Police, and Laxmi still hopes to be reunited with her children. Pappu has been adopted by a bandit named Lakhan Singh, who re-names him Shambhu, and brings him up with his other son, Shankar. Pinky has been adopted by a widow, who has re-named her Sulakshana, who makes a living as a petty thief. Shankar and Shambhu, on the run from the Police, end up in Bombay, where they will be thrust into conflict with Kundan and Chaman on one hand, and Ranjit Singh on the other.

Rajesh is summoned and briefed about this mission, and he sets forth on his way. He meets with a gorgeous young woman named Rita, and both fall in love with each other. Inspector Morse is a British detective drama television series based on a series of novels by Colin Dexter. It starred John Thaw as Chief Inspector Morse and Kevin Whately as Sergeant Lewis. The series comprises 33 two-hour episodes (100 minutes excluding commercials) — 20 more episodes than there are novels – produced between 1987 and 2000. Dexter made uncredited cameo appearances in all but three of the episodes.
Overview:
The series, first shown in the UK on the ITV network, was made by Zenith Productions for Central Independent Television. Between 1995 and 1996 it was produced by Carlton Television and, towards the series end, was made by Carlton and WGBH.
Every episode involved a new murder investigation, featuring several guest stars, and showed a complete story. Writer Anthony Minghella scripted three including the first, The Dead of Jericho, which aired on 6 January 1987 featuring Gemma Jones, Patrick Troughton and James Laurenson. Its other writers included Julian Mitchell (10 episodes), Daniel Boyle (5) and Alma Cullen (4 episodes), and its directors included John Madden (4 episodes), Herbert Wise (3), Peter Hammond (3), Adrian Shergold (3) and Danny Boyle (2 episodes).
The series remains popular and is frequently repeated on ITV and ITV3 in the UK.

Production:
Morse was played by John Thaw, and the faithful Detective Sergeant Lewis by Kevin Whately. The character of Lewis was transformed from the elderly Welshman and ex-boxer of the novels to a much younger Geordie police sergeant with a family, as a foil to Morse's cynical streak. Morse's first name, Endeavour, is revealed on only one occasion when he explains to a lady friend that his father was obsessed with Captain James Cook, and for this reason he was named after HMS Endeavour. On the other occasions, he usually answers "Morse. Everyone just calls me Morse" or drily replies "Inspector", when asked what his first name is.
Morse is a character whose talents and intelligence are being wasted in positions that fail to match his abilities. Several references are made to the fact that Morse would have been promoted above and beyond Chief Inspector at Thames Valley CID, but his cynicism and lack of ambition, coupled also to veiled hints that he may have made enemies in high places, frustrate his progression despite his Oxford connections.
Morse's Interests:
Morse had 'highbrow' passions: music (especially opera; Mozart and Wagner among his favorites), poetry, art, the classics, British real ale, classic cars, and cryptic crossword puzzles. When seen at home Morse is usually listening to music on his Roksan Xerxes record player, solving a crossword, reading classic literature, or drinking ale. In his home, the living room had a chess set containing classical Staunton chess pieces. While working, Morse subsists on quickly-downed pints of ale in pubs, usually bought by Lewis, who struggles to keep up. Many of his cases touch on Morse's interests, and it is often his knowledge that helps him solve them.

Inspector Morse is a British detective drama television series based on a series of novels by Colin Dexter. It starred John Thaw as Chief Inspector Morse and Kevin Whately as Sergeant Lewis. The series comprises 33 two-hour episodes (100 minutes excluding commercials) — 20 more episodes than there are novels – produced between 1987 and 2000. Dexter made uncredited cameo appearances in all but three of the episodes.
Overview:
The series, first shown in the UK on the ITV network, was made by Zenith Productions for Central Independent Television. Between 1995 and 1996 it was produced by Carlton Television and, towards the series end, was made by Carlton and WGBH.
Every episode involved a new murder investigation, featuring several guest stars, and showed a complete story. Writer Anthony Minghella scripted three including the first, The Dead of Jericho, which aired on 6 January 1987 featuring Gemma Jones, Patrick Troughton and James Laurenson. Its other writers included Julian Mitchell (10 episodes), Daniel Boyle (5) and Alma Cullen (4 episodes), and its directors included John Madden (4 episodes), Herbert Wise (3), Peter Hammond (3), Adrian Shergold (3) and Danny Boyle (2 episodes).
The series remains popular and is frequently repeated on ITV and ITV3 in the UK.

Production:
Morse was played by John Thaw, and the faithful Detective Sergeant Lewis by Kevin Whately. The character of Lewis was transformed from the elderly Welshman and ex-boxer of the novels to a much younger Geordie police sergeant with a family, as a foil to Morse's cynical streak. Morse's first name, Endeavour, is revealed on only one occasion when he explains to a lady friend that his father was obsessed with Captain James Cook, and for this reason he was named after HMS Endeavour. On the other occasions, he usually answers "Morse. Everyone just calls me Morse" or drily replies "Inspector", when asked what his first name is.
Morse is a character whose talents and intelligence are being wasted in positions that fail to match his abilities. Several references are made to the fact that Morse would have been promoted above and beyond Chief Inspector at Thames Valley CID, but his cynicism and lack of ambition, coupled also to veiled hints that he may have made enemies in high places, frustrate his progression despite his Oxford connections.
Morse's Interests:
Morse had 'highbrow' passions: music (especially opera; Mozart and Wagner among his favorites), poetry, art, the classics, British real ale, classic cars, and cryptic crossword puzzles. When seen at home Morse is usually listening to music on his Roksan Xerxes record player, solving a crossword, reading classic literature, or drinking ale. In his home, the living room had a chess set containing classical Staunton chess pieces. While working, Morse subsists on quickly-downed pints of ale in pubs, usually bought by Lewis, who struggles to keep up. Many of his cases touch on Morse's interests, and it is often his knowledge that helps him solve them.

• Inspector Gadget:
is the title character and main protagonist of the series and movies. He dresses like Inspector Clouseau, drives a minivan that can be converted into a police vehicle resembling a cross between a Matra Murena and aToyota Celica, and acts like Maxwell Smart, who was portrayed by Gadget's primary voice actor Don Adams. The clueless Gadget frequently bungles his cases and gets himself into danger, but he always gets out of trouble either by using his gadgets (sometimes inadvertently), through Penny and/or Brain's unseen assistance, or by pure luck. Gadget cares about his family often takes risks to protect them, especially Penny. Another trait of Gadget's personality is that he does not believe in the supernatural. One of his most famous catch-phrases in the series is "Wowsers!" While he would never succeed in completing a mission by himself without Penny and Brain, they usually would not succeed in completing a mission themselves without Inspector Gadget and his gadgets unintentionally foiling the M.A.D. agents' plans. It is never clarified in the original series if "Gadget" is his code name or his actual name. The 1999 live film names him "John Brown", indicating it to be a code name.
• Penny:
is Gadget's precocious and intelligent niece. She is a master of investigation and technology who is the one truly responsible for foiling M.A.D.'s schemes, a fact only Brain knows. Using a computer disguised as a book and a utility wristwatch, she monitors her Uncle Gadget's activities, communicates with Brain and foils M.A.D.'s plots. Penny often gets captured by M.A.D. agents before calling Brain for help or escaping by herself.
• Brain:
is Inspector Gadget's and Penny's pet dog and companion. He is bipedal and intelligent, in the same way as a human. He assists Penny in keeping Gadget out of danger and solving crime. Brain uses a variety of disguises which always fool Gadget, although Gadget usually mistakes him for a M.A.D. agent. Brain's collar is outfitted with a retractable video communications system linked to a computer wristwatch Penny wears that allows her to relay information on Gadget's activity or warn Brain as to the whereabouts of M.A.D. agents. Brain can communicate with humans through a gruff, Scooby-Doo-like "dog" voice or pantomime and physical gestures .
• Doctor Claw (Docteur Gang in French):
is the main antagonist of the series and leader of the evil M.A.D. organization. Throughout the entire series, Dr. Claw's real name is never revealed and His full body is never seen. Only his arms and gauntlet-clad hands are visible, leaving the viewer to guess as to his face and body. He is usually at a computer terminal where he monitors his various schemes, often in a creepy old castle. Although he is aware of Gadget's idiocy, he believes the Inspector to be his greatest enemy, never fully realizing that it is actually Penny and Brain who foil his plots in each episode (although he or his M.A.D. agents have captured Penny and sometimes Brain a number of times). Dr. Claw's preferred mode of transportation/escape is the M.A.D. Mobile, a black and red vehicle that can transform into a jet or a submarine. He is always seen with his fat pet cat M.A.D. Cat, who reaps the benefits of his brief victories and bears the brunt of his defeats. Dr. Claw's catch-phrase is "I'll get you next time, Gadget! Next time!" It is heard at the end of every episode, during the credits, and is followed by a loud meow from M.A.D. Cat.
