Who are we? And where do we come from? As a multicultural nation, there is an ongoing discussion about what it means to be Australian today. Born in the Middle East, to a Palestinian family, Shadi migrated to Australia 6 years ago and says Australia gave him the freedom to be himself. Working as an accountant in Melbourne, he found love in 2011 when he met Adam online.
While Shadi considers himself a Muslim, he’s found his soulmate in his Australian atheist partner.
