Green Day releases new single

After a four year wait, Green Day release their new single Bang Bang, controversially written from the perspective of a mass shooter.

Long established as not just teen-favourite punks but major artists with several high-selling concept albums, and a Broadway musical based on one of those concepts, backed by highly stylised stage shows, Green Day were last heard from in 2012 with the staggered release of three albums in the one year.

The 2017 tour will follow the release of the band's 12th album this month, called Revolution Radio.
