Brian Gerard "Kato" Kaelin (/ˈkeɪtoʊ ˈkeɪlɪn/; born March 9, 1959) is an American radio and television personality who gained fame as a witness during the 1994–1995 murder trial of O. J. Simpson.
Kaelin was nicknamed "Kato" as a child after the character played by Bruce Lee in the television series The Green Hornet. He graduated from Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin, in 1977. He attended, but never graduated from, the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. He pledged SAE Fraternity in the fall of 1980 and was accepted at the end of the term at California State University Fullerton. During his time at Eau Claire he created his own talk show, Kato and Friends, and hosted "The Gameshow" on the campus television station, TV10. Kaelin eventually moved to Hollywood.
Kaelin was "best friends" with actor/comedian Norm Macdonald from mid-2000 to mid-2001 according to Macdonald's The Norm Show co-star Artie Lange, and Dean Heiser. Kaelin was even given a guest role on the show. The two had a falling out which ended their friendship. He was married to Cynthia Coulter from 1983 to 1989; they have one child, Tiffany Kaelin Knight.
Larry King (born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger, November 19, 1933) is an American television and radio host, actor, voice actor and comedian whose work has been recognized with awards including two Peabodys and 10 Cable ACE Awards.
He began as a local Florida journalist and radio interviewer in the 1950s and 1960s and became prominent as an all-night national radio broadcaster starting in 1978. From 1985 to 2010, he hosted the nightly interview television program Larry King Live on CNN. He currently hosts Larry King Now on Hulu and RT America during the week, and on Thursdays he hosts Politicking with Larry King, a weekly political talk show which airs in the evening on the same two channels.
King was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Jennie (Gitlitz), a garment worker who was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, and Aaron Zeiger, a restaurant owner and defense-plant worker who was born in Kolomyia, Ukraine. Both parents were Orthodox Jews.
King was educated at Lafayette High School, a public high school in the Brooklyn area of New York City. His father died at 44 of a heart attack and his mother had to go on welfare to support her two sons. King was greatly affected by his father's death, and he lost interest in school. After graduating from high school, he worked to help support his mother and did not go to college or university. From an early age, however, he had wanted to go into radio.
Oprah Gail Winfrey, born January 29, 1954, is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. She is best known for her talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. Dubbed the "Queen of All Media", she has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and is now North America's first and only multi-billionaire Black. Several assessments regard her as the most influential woman in the world. In 2013, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama and honorary doctorate degrees from Duke and Harvard.
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She has stated that she was molested during her childhood and early teens and became pregnant at 14; her son died in infancy. Sent to live with the man she calls her father, a barber in Tennessee, Winfrey landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime-talk-show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place, she launched her own production company and became internationally syndicated.

Recorded 12/15/2014. Ken and Tai warmly welcome our next guest, Kato Kaelin, a radio and television personality who gained worldwide fame as a witness during the 1995 O. J. Simpson murder trial. More recently, Kato has entered the men’s clothing business, currently promoting his own men’s clothing line, Slacker, at http://www.slackerwear.com/ Like the recent Oscar Pistorius trial in South Africa, a trial that mixed celebrity, sex, and privilege, the 1995 O. J. Simpson trial was that–and much more. The whole country seemed fixated on every aspect of the unfolding story. Indeed, even President Clinton admitted to changing his presidential schedule on the day of the verdict not to miss its reading. From within this cultural petri dish, out stepped Kato. At the time of the murders, Kato was...

I must make up my mind today
What to have, what to hold
A poor man's roses
Or a rich man's gold
One's as wealthy as a king in a palace
Tho' he's callous and cold
He may learn to give his heart for love
Instead of buyin' it with gold
Then the poor man's roses
And the thrill when we kiss
Will be memories of paradise
That I'll never miss
And yet the hand that brings the rose tonight
Is the hand I will hold
For the rose of love means more to me
