The latest iteration of the open world action-adventure video game “The Legend of Zelda” has already been confirmed by Japanese gaming company Nintendo to come out on the Wii U and its latest gaming platform, the NX, by next year, although it has yet to make an announcement to the game’s exact release date.
Officially-titled as “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” there are reports going around saying that the starred walls of the Temple of Resurrection might possibly serve as the game’s shrine map. It also points out finished and unfinished quests too, details iDigital Times.
Complete shrines on “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” has been featured during the gameplay demo at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. They feature an obvious blue glow which is because of their Sheikah origins.
There are also speculations that the Koroks may also be included in “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” because during the demo, a lone Korok was seen telling Link that the others are kind of hiding before presenting the game’s main protagonist with a gift of a Korok Seed.
What seems clear is that the Koroks will likely be dispersed throughout the game’s open world and that gamers must locate them all much like the Golden Skulltula in “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.”
Fictional chronology of the game
“The Legend of Zelda” series follows a fictional chronology. On December 21, 2011, a timeline was released within the collector’s book called “Hyrule Historia.”
“The Legend of Zelda,” the original and first of its kind, has a sequel titled “Zelda II: The Adventure of the Link” whose time placement was several years later.
Thereafter, it was followed by “A Link to the Past,” “Link’s Awakening,” “Ocarina of Time,” “Skyward Sword,” “Twilight Princess,” “The Wind Waker,” “Phantom Hourglass,” “Spirit Tracks,” “Four Swords,” “The Minish Cap,” and “A Link Between Worlds,” details Game & Guide.
Each title of “The Legend of Zelda” game took place in different timeline branches. And for the avid fans of “The Legend of Zelda,” they have already theorized and proved that the titles followed the journey of Zelda from childhood to adulthood.
“The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” is speculated to have a more expansive setting compared to the previous titles.
Apparently, the newest installment of the game is said to give gamers a better immersive journey within the previously empty areas separating the towns, cities, and shrines.
It has been reported that the latest entry to the open world action-adventure video game “The Legend of Zelda” will come out on the Nintendo Wii U and its latest platform, the NX, early next year although the Japanese gaming company has yet to specify an exact release date.
March 2017 release date
There has been a reported leak on the release date for the Link Amiibo action figure that reportedly came out in Nintendo’s European websites that says that it would be released on March 4, 2017.
It has become the standard for Nintendo to release an Amiibo figure close to the release date of an upcoming game. The strategy is ideal because the action figure is meant to build hype and add on to the marketing and promotions of the upcoming game.
So if the Amiibo of Link is to come out on March 4, then it is likely that the game itself, “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” will come out a few days or weeks later.
If an Amiibo figure is indicative of a rough time period in which the newest iteration of the franchise will appear, it seems like “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” could very well be the flagship launch day title for the NX.
