Trek (band)
Trek is a Russian rock band formed in Khabarovsk, Soviet Russia, in 1977.
History
The group was formed in 1977.
The constant structure was formed in 1980. In 1982 they published their first album «Flying for line».
In 1991 the band plays at a Soviet-Japanese-American festival in Vladivostok.
In 1995 the group publishes the CD «Blessed to Feel», the first CD of a Far Eastern rock group. There was a considerable number of groups by then in Khabarovsk and the band "Track" decided to start rock club "Roxy" on June, 24th, 1995.
In 1996 "Track" performs at the Russian-American festival in Vladivostok "Vladi-ROCKstok-96". There was a manager of the band "Nazareth" present at that festival. He invited the "Track" for a joint concert with «Nazareth» in Vladivostok. Tours «Nazareth» coincide with Dan McCafferty's 50 anniversary and "Track" also was officially invited to celebrating of anniversary. McCafferty said in exclusive interview for TVA: «"Trek" is the best that I heard in Russia». But then "Trek" broke up.

Trek Bicycle Corporation is a major bicycle and cycling product manufacturer and distributor under brand names Trek, Electra Bicycle Company, Gary Fisher, Bontrager, Diamant Bikes, Villiger Bikes and until 2008, LeMond Racing Cycles and Klein. With its headquarters in Waterloo, Wisconsin, Trek bicycles are marketed through 1,700 dealers across North America, subsidiaries in Europe and Asia as well as distributors in 90 countries worldwide.
History
1975–1979 The early years
In December, 1975, Richard (Dick) Burke and Bevil Hogg established Trek Bicycle as a wholly owned subsidiary of Roth Corporation, a Milwaukee-based appliance distributor. In early 1976, with a payroll of five, Trek started manufacturing steel touring frames in Waterloo, Wisconsin, taking aim at the mid to high-end market dominated by Japanese and Italian made models. Trek built nearly 900 custom hand-brazed framesets that first year, each selling for just under $200. Later that same year Trek Bicycle was incorporated. In 1977, Penn Cycle in Richfield, Minnesota became the first Trek dealer in the world. Within three years, Trek sales approached $2,000,000.

Today I’m flying for the next 40 hours from Sydney Australia all the way across the world to London in the United Kingdom. The entire trip will be in First Class in three different products, from Qantas and Emirates on their A380s and 777. I’ll explore everything on offer from the fine dining, in flight bed, bathrooms (one even has a shower!) and what’s more I’m bringing my Mum along for the trip. She’s never flown in First Class before so I can’t wait to share the experience together. On the ground we’ll take an in-depth look at the various airport lounges some luxurious and some… not so much. I’ll also explain exactly how much I paid for this trip and how you can save money on your next flight using a similar method. As promised, here's another Star Trek Mega Suite in time for Christmas! This piece covers the remaining The Next Generation films: First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis. It's once again the longest suite I've made!
Jerry Goldsmith was a genius. He made a bunch of memorable Star Trek music, including the iconic (and arguably most recognized) Star Trek theme from The Motion Picture, which became the theme for TNG and these 3 movies. He also wrote the famous First Contact theme, and even some overlooked themes - there's one that plays in all 3 movies (the theme when the deflector dish is destroyed or when Data dies), which really makes these three scores feel like one long one.
Along with Generations these were the movies I saw in theaters growing up, and despite any flaws I love them all - especially because of Mr. Goldsmith's scores. So with that in mind, I wanted to try and do these 3 justice as 1 extended TNG film suite. As usual, these are not necessarily tracks in film order, but just blended together thematically. This suite also acts as a dual follow-up to both the First Contact part of Suite 1 and the Borg part of Suite 5.
Note to viewers: This is NOT a music video. The still image is just for something appropriate to look at, but this is primarily an audio piece. I hope you enjoy what I put together! TREK are too heavy and way too over priced! I know a guy with a TREK Madone (or Mad-One as I like to call them because you would need to mad to buy one!) and it cost him $20,000 for the full Dura-Ace Di2 12 speed and Dura-Ace wheels… and its 7.9kg in size XS! The entire trip will be in First Class in three different products, from Qantas and Emirates on their A380s and 777. I promised to release one by Christmas, and this one was ready, so I hope you guys enjoy this early Christmas present for my viewers, especially now that Suite 1 has crossed 100k+ views!
As promised, here's another Star Trek Mega Suite in time for Christmas! This piece covers the remaining The Next Generation films: First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis. It's once again the longest suite I've made!
Jerry Goldsmith was a genius. He made a bunch of memorable Star Trek music, including the iconic (and arguably most recognized) Star Trek theme from The Motion Picture, which became the theme for TNG and these 3 movies. He also wrote the famous First Contact theme, and even some overlooked themes - there's one that plays in all 3 movies (the theme when the deflector dish is destroyed or when Data dies), which really makes these three scores feel like one long one.
Along with Generations these were the movies I saw in theaters growing up, and despite any flaws I love them all - especially because of Mr. Goldsmith's scores. So with that in mind, I wanted to try and do these 3 justice as 1 extended TNG film suite. As usual, these are not necessarily tracks in film order, but just blended together thematically. This suite also acts as a dual follow-up to both the First Contact part of Suite 1 and the Borg part of Suite 5.
Note to viewers: This is NOT a music video. The still image is just for something appropriate to look at, but this is primarily an audio piece. I hope you enjoy what I put together! TREK are too heavy and way too over priced!
I know a guy with a TREK Madone (or Mad-One as I like to call them because you would need to mad to buy one!) and it cost him $20,000 for the full Dura-Ace Di2 12 speed and Dura-Ace wheels… and its 7.9kg in size XS! Like are you having a laugh? $20k and its almonds 8kg. Madness, total Madness. 🤷🏻♂️
