Sunil Kumar Desai (Kannada: ಸುನೀಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ದೇಸಾಯಿ) is a Kannada film director. In most of his movies, Desai blends art and commercial cinema. He has written and directed suspense/thrillers and love stories. He has won the Karnataka state awards (4 times) in the Best Screenplay & Best Dialogs categories. He has also won the Filmfare awards 4 times. Desai worked with South Indian musicians like Illayaraja, Hamsalekha & Gunasingh.
Sunil Kumar Desai was born in 1955 in Bijapur, North Karnataka. He had his primary education in Bijapur and higher education in Pune. He started his film-career as an assistant to Kashinath, a renowned writer, actor, director and producer of many Kannada films. Desai continued to work as an assistant to Suresh Heblikar, an actor, director and environmentalist. He was also involved in a couple of controversies with actor Vishnuvadhan as the latter did not like the way Desai explained the scenes and the pace with which the movies were going.
Sunil Kumar Desai is a very close friend of two famous personalties hailing from Gokarna - Mr. Jayant Kaikini and Professor Dr. Narayan Hosmane of Illinois, USA, who came to rescue Desai financially when his 2006 movie Ramya Chaitra Kala came to halt because of lack of money. Indirectly, Dr. Hosmane became one of the salient producers of Desai's movie and ever since both of them became very close friends. According to rumors in Karnataka, this was the entry into Kannada Film Industry for Dr. Hosmane.

Anant Nagarkatte (born September 4, 1948) popularly known as Anant Nag is an actor and politician from Karnataka, India. He is considered to be one of the all time greatest actors in the Kannada film industry with a vast number of commercially successful movies.[citation needed] As a result, he is popularly known as an actor with no-failures, by critics.[citation needed] In addition to Kannada movies, he has acted in Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies. He has also acted in Malgudi Days, directed by his younger brother Shankar Nag based on the stories by R.K.Narayan. His work was much appreciated by critics at that time. He is fluent in Kannada, Konkani, Marathi, Hindi and with a good understanding of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The versatile natural acting coupled with the style of speaking (accent of southern Kannada with a tint of coastal touch) made him one of the most successful actors in Kannada cinema.
Anant Nag, one of the greatest Indian actors, was born in Konkani Saraswat Brahmin family of Anandi and Sadanand Nagarkatte. He had his early education under the aegis of Ananda Ashrama in Dakshina Kannada district and Chitrapura matha in Uttara Kannada. He was sent to Mumbai for onward education and got involved with amateur Marathi theatre for eight years. He started out doing amateur theatre in Marathi and Kannada.

Harshika Poonacha (born 1 May 1990) is an Indian actress. She has worked in the Kannada, Telugu, Konkani and Tulu language films. She made her acting debut in 2008, for the film PUC.
Harshika Poonacha was born on 1 May 1990 in Ammathi, a small village in Kodagu district of Karnataka to a Kodava Family. After completing her pre-university course, she took up anchoring television shows for a lark and as a possible alternative career option to spend the two months when she was free before entering a professional course. Harshika holds a bachelor degree in engineering.

He was a student of mechanical engineering from Dayananda sagar college of engineering.university cricket player, He is married and has a daughter called Saanvi, which means goddess Lakshmi.
He is known for his roles in the Kannada films My Autograph, Huccha, Mussanje Maatu, Sparsha, and Just Math Mathalli.[2] He has won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Kannada for three consecutive years and also won Karnataka State Award.His first movie was Thayavva (his first two films O Kusuma Bale and Brahma were abandoned mid-filming); he then played a supporting role in the Sunil Kumar Desai-directed movie Prathyartha and landed leading actor role in the same director's Sparsha. In 2001, Sudeep acted in the hit film Huccha, which gave him his first big following. Recently[when?] he made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Phoonk.[3] He has also starred in Ram Gopal Varma's movies Rann (film), Phoonk 2 and Rakta Charitra. He is also acting in a Telugu movie Ega directed by S.S. Rajamouli.
In 2009, he gave his voice to an HIV/AIDS education animated software tutorial created by the nonprofit organization TeachAIDS.

Chapala Chennigaraya is a 1990 Indian Kannada film, directed by H. R. Bhargava and produced by M Rajagopal and Suresh Kumar. The film stars Kashinath, Kalpana, Vanitha Vasu and Sundar Krishna Urs in lead roles. The film had musical score by Rajan-Nagendra The film is a remake of Tamil film Chinna Veedu.

He probably started the trend of acting, directing, music directing and the producing of films. Sunil Dutts directorial debut was a bizarre One actor movie monument according to the opening credit. Anil (Dutt), a successful businessman returns to his palatial home to find his wife Priya and their two sons are out. This sets off an extraordinary two-hour solioquy, shot entirely in the flat, describing the days when he first met his wife how they got married, when they had thier two children, the childrens first birthdays, their misunderstandings, his meeting of a new girlfriend, Salma, the nights when they fought, when they made love, and so on. We gather that his wife had many reasons for leaving and he takes this opportunity to accuse her in order to justify himself with her wedding sari. A depressingly uninhibited demonstration of male infantilism and neurosis, the film adopts a naturalist acting idiom played against props such as Mario Miranda cartoon characters is required. The films most interesting moment comes when Dutt is attacked by a bunch of toys berating him for his lack of concern for his family. Sunil Dutts directorial debut was a bizarre One actor movie monument according to the opening credit. Anil (Dutt), a successful businessman returns to his palatial home to find his wife Priya and their two sons are out. This sets off an extraordinary two-hour solioquy, shot entirely in the flat, describing the days when he first met his wife how they got married, when they had thier two children, the childrens first birthdays, their misunderstandings, his meeting of a new girlfriend, Salma, the nights when they fought, when they made love, and so on. We gather that his wife had many reasons for leaving and he takes this opportunity to accuse her in order to justify himself with her wedding sari. A depressingly uninhibited demonstration of male infantilism and neurosis, the film adopts a naturalist acting idiom played against props such as Mario Miranda cartoon characters is required. The films most interesting moment comes when Dutt is attacked by a bunch of toys berating him for his lack of concern for his family. In this Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar, master director Sanjay Leela Bhansali talks about his film 'Bajirao Mastani'. He opens up about the struggles he faced while trying to put the project together since 2003. He also reveals how some of the greatest directors like Manmohan Desai, Muzaffar Ali etc also tried to make a film on Bajirao's love for Mastani. He praises Eros International for spending a bomb on the film and also says that Ranveer Singh has achieved stardom with this film. He surprises as he tells how he spends hours to perfect each and every shot and can go to any lengths. He also reveals the film education given by his father when he showed him films like 'Mughal-E-Azam', 'Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje' as well as Dada Kondke entertainers. He praises writer Prakash Kapadia's dialogues that have stayed with the audiences. He also narrates how he had narrated some of the scenes of the film to Rani Mukerji when she was shooting with him for 'Black'. He then tells that he feels relieved and satisfied with the encouraging response to the film by Maharashtrians. He talks highly of his lead actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
