MB, MB or M. B. may refer to:
Vishal Veeru Devgan (born 2 April 1969), known as Ajay Devgan and sometimes spelt Ajay Devgn, is an Indian Bollywood actor, film director and producer. He is widely considered as one of the finest and most popular actors of Hindi cinema. He has won numerous awards, including two National Film Awards as Best Actor. He has been honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri in 2016. He is the son of director and action director Veeru Devgan.
Devgan began his professional career with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 and received a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance. He then starred in successful films such as Jigar (1992), Dilwale (1994), Suhaag (1994), Naajayaz (1995), Diljale (1996) and Ishq (1997). In 1998, he appeared in a critically acclaimed performance in Mahesh Bhatt's drama Zakhm and he received his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie. In 1999, his most-talked-about film was Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in which he played Vanraj, a man who tries to unite his wife with her lover.

Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and one of the most popular singers of the Hindi film industry. Rafi was notable for his versatility, his songs ranged from classical numbers to patriotic songs, sad lamentations to highly romantic numbers, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans. He was known for his ability to mould his voice to the persona of the actor lip-synching the song on screen in the movie. Between 1950 and 1970, Rafi was the most sought after singer in the Hindi film industry. He received six Filmfare Awards and one National Film Award. In 1967, he was honoured with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India.
Rafi is primarily noted for his songs in Hindi, over which he had a strong command. He sang in other Indian languages including Assamese, Konkani, Bhojpuri, Odia, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Sindhi, Kannada, Gujarati, Telugu, Magahi, Maithili and Urdu. Apart from Indian languages, he also sang songs in English, Farsi, Arabic, Creole, and Dutch.
Shilpa Shetty (born c. 1975), also known as Shilpa Shetty Kundra after her marriage, is an Indian film actress, producer and former model. The elder sister of actress Shamita Shetty, she appears predominantly in Bollywood films, however, has also worked in a few Telugu, Tamil and Kannada language films. Through her successful Bollywood career and after winning the international reality television series Celebrity Big Brother 5, Shetty has become one of the most popular and high-profile celebrities in India. She is the recipient of numerous awards and nominations, including four Filmfare nominations. In the Indian media, she is frequently cited as a sex symbol, and has received praise for her acting and dancing skills.
Shetty began her career as a model in 1991 with a Limca television commercial and followed it with several other commercials and advertisements. She then began receiving offers for film roles and made her debut in the 1993 thriller Baazigar, a box-office hit that earned her Filmfare nominations for Best Supporting Actress and Lux New Face of the Year awards. She subsequently earned widespread recognition by playing lead female roles in the 1994 box office hits Aag and Main Khiladi Tu Anari. Following this initial success in her career, Shetty starred in several unsuccessful films in which her brief, repetitive roles earned her negative reviews from film critics. Sharmila Tagore (also known as Begum Ayesha Sultana; born 8 December 1946) is an Indian film actress known for her works predominantly in Hindi cinema. She has received two National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards for her performances.
She led the Indian Film Censor Board from October 2004 till March 2011. In December 2005 she was chosen as an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She was one of the International Competition's Jury Members at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. In 2013, she was awarded Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.
Tagore was born in Hyderabad, Telangana to Ira Barua, an Assamese and Gitindranath Tagore, a Bengali.
Tagore's mother, Ira Barua, was the daughter of Jnanadabhiram Barua (Tagore's maternal grandfather), the founder Principal of Earl Law College (now Government Law College) in Guwahati and her maternal great-grandfather Gunabhiram Barua led the fight against the tradition of child marriage and worked for promotion of widow marriage and women education in Assam. Tagore's maternal grandmother Latika Tagore was the granddaughter of Rabindranath Tagore's brother, Dwijendranath Tagore.
