At this point in our history, the people of the Mariana islands face the greatest threat since World War II - the unnecessary taking of our lands and waters by the United States military for use as bombing ranges. The is more than an expansion of the military presence in the Marianas. The military's plan, that has been unfolding over recent years, is so huge and overwhelming that the late CNMI Governor Inos characterized it as an "extistential treat" to the people of the Marianas. Until this threat is resolved, Chamorro.com will be dedicated to sharing information on this critical issue.
